Katie's Bumpers-Dog Toys

Katie's Bumpers was established in 2002 by Jill and Greg and was inspired by a true champ by the name of Katie, a beautiful Blue Heaven Newfoundland female that earned many awards in her lifetime. Katie was a top performer at various dog shows and competitions where her owners and Jill's parents, Bob and Rhoda, saw the need for a better bumper for water training.

They set out to design what quickly became an industry staple: the Katie's Bumpers bumper with a top to bottom cylindrical shape and a flush rope design that would prevent dogs from biting through the rope loop.

Our namesake product, The Original Bumper, is a floating retrieval toy that's perfect for fetch and water training. It's brightly colored rubber makes it easy to spot on land or in water. Pair it with a rope to ensure the toy can be easily retrieved if thrown out of reach of the dog.

Frequent Flyers are designed specifically for fetch and are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. The brightly colored fire hose makes it easy to spot in the wild. These toys are intended for active play with your dog and are not designed to be a chew toy.
