Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. We believe strongly in preventative care for the simple reason that it is far easier to prevent issues than to treat an illness after it has developed. We understand the stress that can be associated with a vet visit for your cat, and we try to reduce this stress on you and your pet. We offer in-house diagnostic services for prompt evaluation of your pet's illness including physical exam, blood analysis, x-rays, and ultrasound.
Founded in 2016, Fear Free provides online education to veterinary professionals, pet professionals, animal welfare communities, and pet owners. Our courses are developed and written by the most respected veterinary and pet experts in the world, including boarded veterinary behaviorists, boarded veterinary anesthesiologists, pain experts, boarded veterinary internists, veterinary technicians (behavior), experts in shelter medicine, animal training, grooming, boarding, and more.
In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. Kildaire Animal Medical Center is happy to accept Cash, Check, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Scratchpay and CareCredit. Brought my cat in for a senior check up. They showed me a spreadsheet of prices and had me verbally approve before proceeding. They didn't push any tests on me. They were super friendly and even provided a warm blanket for the cat. There was a window with a bird feeder for her enjoyment lol. They weren't rushed and Dr. Fourre and the vet tech spent time answering all questions.
They checked me out in the exam room to avoid additional stress on the cat. Dr. Fourre even called back in person with the bloodwork results. I would love to find that in a human doctor hehe! A++

I have had nothing but great experiences at Kildaire Animal Medical Center. We have been using the office since we moved here, for about 7 months. The front desk is always very nice and accommodating. Our regular vet, Dr. Laura Stolt is very through, and very friendly. When our dog has been sick Laura has not only helped in office, but often will follow-up with a call to make sure everything is okay. The rest of the team is also very knowledgable and helpful. Update: still love this place! They have been our vet for years now!

I would strongly recommend against going to Kildaire Animal Medical Center. I'm really not the one to usually leave negative reviews, but this is by far the worst experience I've had with a veterinary office. As a returning client, I was shocked to find out that they have almost doubled their prices since my last visit. I totally understand the need to raise prices, but none of the staff members at Kildaire let me know beforehand that the prices has gone up so high.
I called around to other veterinary offices in the area, and the cost is way more affordable and transparent about what is being charged. If you don't want to be shocked at an over one thousand dollar invoice when you leave for just two office visits, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I will keep Kildaire animal medical center as my vet for as long as I have pets! Dr. Chen is so kind and passionate about getting my Tally better after he had a problem with his legs not moving properly. He also was very understanding and patient when we had a false alarm and I rushed Tally back over. Front desk is also SO quick to get back when I call and very attentive to my needs as a kitty mama. We love this place!

This place is incredible. We have brought both of our cats here since we moved to the area. They received wonderful care and Dr. Stolt provided the most compassionate end of life care, that I cannot recommend her highly enough. It takes a truly compassionate and empathic individual to bring comfort to both the pet and their humans during the end and Dr. Stolt provided that for us. We are starting with a new pet and will continue going here as long as we can.

We have used Kildare since we moved back to Cary in 1980. 2 of our pets lived 15.5 yrs with care from Kildaire. Recently took our beagles in because a growth had appeared on Dixie's right rear leg. Normally see Drs Glover or Stoltz. Appointment was with Dr Chen. He evaluated growth and said it could be mass or fatty growth. Did not feel it was a mass. Prescribed antibiotic and cleanser cloth.came back on Monday since didn't seem to be getting better. Determined it was abscess from where she had been scratching her backside. Got some drainage.she is coming in Friday for dental Cleaning and said he would lance or remove Access Friday. Pleased with Dixie's treatment.
He explained as best he could. Felt visit was beneficial and we got to see a Dr we had not seen before. Kildaire exhibits Care and compassion for both patients and owners. I highly recommend Kildaire for all Your pet needs and Dr visits
