Our in-home training program allows you to be hands-on with your dog's training right from the start. We also have training at our kennel located in Orange County, CA for 100% obedience in all commands. Whatever the problem, Kind to Canines has a positive solution.

Kind To Canines was established in 1996. For the first five years Kind To Canines focused on helping clients strictly with obedience training. In 2001 Kind To Canines opened its own training facility expanding not only working with obedience, but also behavior modification and behavior problems in dogs.
Our Facility is a small training facility designed to house twelve dogs overnight at a time and five dogs per day for day-training. All our runs are indoor/outdoor fully temperature controlled with heating and air conditioning via solar energy. We are equipped to house dogs for training as small as 2 pounds and as large as 200 pounds.
Dan will come into your home prior your puppy arriving to get you set up for puppy success. Whether your goal is to just train your dog to pass his CGC testing to be a well behaved dog, or just a stepping stone to eventually pass your therapy dog testing we can help. Kind To Canines is an accredited training facility to work with and conduct GCG testing.

My husband and I could not be more grateful to Dan and his team at Kind to Canines. When expecting our first child, we wanted a trainer that could help us with the transition for our 1.5 year old pup Penelope. She had puppy training and is a great dog, but we needed specific skills and a touch up on basic commands. Kind to Canines allowed her to stay there the week we were in the hospital delivering my son, which worked out perfectly!
She came home that Friday and we were very impressed by how well she did. Ever since, she's been amazing with our little one - so sweet, gentle, and listens so much better! I would highly recommend Kind to Canines to anyone looking for training! They did wonders for our Penelope, and we loved their homey feel and kindness. A great experience all around!

Dan is the best! All the staff is smiling and eager to help you. My puppy who is normally always underfoot and clingy, absolutely loves going to Dan's. It's one stop training, grooming, and daycare all in one. The facility is super clean and inviting. The dogs truly feel welcomed. Dan's advice on how to correct behavior is doable too. It's everyday liveable corrections. It's awesome! And they do boarding! Truly check them out if you have a dog or puppy!

We took my 3 year old blue nose pitbull to get some obedience training with Dan and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding! Dan is so patient with us and making sure we know exactly how to train our dog when we pick him up and he makes it really easy to understand. I highly recommend that if you have a pup that needs a little bit (or alot of training like ours lol) that you go see Dan. I would happily refer any and everyone to him. We have seen massive improvements in our pitbull and look forward to whats to come!

Dan is phenomenal! I used him over 12 years ago to help me with my dog. Recently I hired him again for a puppy boot camp since my puppy was so out of control. I tried every single trick I knew and absolutely nothing worked. We called Dan our amazing dog trainer And in 5 days my puppy Lucas is a total new dog! People can't recognize him anymore. Thanks so much Dan for using your magic on my crazy boy. We're so grateful for you. We have a peaceful home again!

One of the most amazing places I have seen- and experienced! great service and SUPER CLEAN! Above all. the way everyone treats your "fur children" is above and beyond! Training is hands down outstanding, Dan really knows what's he's doing and makes you feel very comfortable especially from the initial consultation - I was very nervous! And that went away immediately.
I could already see a difference in my little Marlo, and also in myself, with "how-to" - and "hands -on" simple and subtle info just within the 30 minutes of being there!. I can't believe it! Everyone is very patient and understanding, Tye the groomer is so fantastic!
