Understanding what dogs need and knowing what they want has helped us to create what we believe is the perfect environment for your dog's visit with us. It is not surprising to us the extent to which dog kennel design affects animal welfare. Our goal here is to allow dogs to be dogs. To provide them with the freedom to enjoy the comfort of being part of a group and to be able to run and explore and play at will.We have a beautiful, peaceful rural setting and due to our limited size, we are ideal for pet boarding services requiring a more caring service with individual attention. We know that stress is created when an animal finds itself around strangers, in a foreign place, it's routine altered, and without it's own people. We have done our best to provide a comfortable, caring environment to help ease each animal past those concerns which makes us a unique pet boarding service!

Welcome to Leash & Bridle Boarding where the entire focus in planning our facility has been to improve the quality of life for your boarded pet. We have a beautiful, peaceful rural setting and our kennel is designed for a limited number of dogs and cats. We are ideal for pet boarding requiring a more caring service with individual attention.
Prior to moving onto our "country property" we lived in the suburbs. When I needed to board my dogs I took them to a very small "ma & pa" kennel. In 10 years I never had a problem. My dogs would actually get excited when we drove up to the kennel. Then we moved to the country and because of the horses we always had people helping out on the property and were therefore able to leave our dogs home when we went out of town. Over the years our dogs grew old and moved on as old dogs do. When the time was right we got 2 new puppies to fill the void.
Call Leash and Bridle Boarding in order to assure availability for the dates and accommodations you prefer. We encourage you to fax or e-mail your paperwork ahead of time in order to expedite the check-in process on your day of arrival. Otherwise you may bring your pet and paperwork to our facility upon the day of drop off.
Any boarder picked up after 1:00 PM on their day of departure will incur an additional $10.00 charge. Any additional dog from the same family sharing the space will receive $10 per night off the initial rate. We know that dogs find comfort in the company of other dogs, therefore our Lodge is a "companion" kennel.
Our more sensitive feline friends have a lovely cattery in a separate building, far away from the activity and noise of the dog area. We offer several custom built cat condos. All units are appealing and pleasing to kitties and have room for at least 2 family members. In these condos are multiple climbing trees, window perches, cubbies in which they can "hide and feel safe" and exploring levels.

We hesitated to leave our 2 maltipoos in an kennel but after much research we chose Lease and Bridle Boarding. It’s not a kennel but a hotel with extra activities for our fur babies. We got pictures of them playing and looked like they were having a ball. Next time we need to board them we will leave them in the good hands of the staff at this location.

I just moved to New Caney recently, was looking for a a place to keep my 4 legged babies over night. And I found everything I was looking for here. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Facility is clean and well organized. Lots of extra steps taken to ensure safety and comfort for your babies. So hopefully my babies will like it as much as I did!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Can't wait to be able to take our little Trixie back. The place was super clean and the staff was super friendly and inviting. Plenty of room while sleeping & have a little doggy doors for them to go outside. There was a Splash pad and plenty of other places to play. I would totally recommend this place for your pups!

5 stars well earned. This is by far the best boarding facility around. There are so many things they do that go above and beyond their responsibilities to ensure your pet has the best stay possible. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future. Great job to everyone on the team who made my pups, and my experience the best!

YES. YES. A hundred times YES! I am in middle of crazy moving with a stressed Cocker Spaniel. The hotel said I couldn’t keep her there so, I called Kirby at Leash and Bridle Boarding literally crying. She was very glad I called them for my Gypsy Rose and even said Beth could pick her up at my hotel! This place is the very best of everything for fur babies, .Private room Suite with doggie door to private yard, play area with splash pad, giant soft dirt made for digging, huge lush grassy yard,... did I miss the lake and Splash Pad? Hello, I’m checking in too! My girl Gypsy is still there until I move in my house in a few days. They send me super cute pics and vids for updates daily. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

They took such great care of my boys- I’ve got 2 mixed breeds and they can get a little anxious sometimes- so I am so thankful for the knowledgeable and loving staff. We will be back every time!! They had so much fun here and it is the nicest facility I have ever experienced. Also their little goodie bags and report cards are the cutest things ever! 10/10 recommend.

Great boarding and day care facility. I have taken my dog here probably 30 times for day care and a couple of times for boarding. They have completely separate buildings and play areas for larger and smaller dogs to prevent issues. Staff are friendly and attentive. I've used other facilities in and around the Woodlands which cost more but offer less, this is the best in the North Houston/Woodlands area.

Love love love Leash and Bridle Boarding! Our rescue pup was afraid of everything and everyone and then he had his first experience at L&B. Between the attention he got from the staff and time spent with other dogs he became more socialized - five years later he still doesn’t want to be away from us unless it’s to go to L&B which he loves to the point where he starts barking joyfully as soon as we round the corner before we even enter the driveway!
Leash and Bridle is by far the best value for pet boarding where they provide a safe, clean, comfortable and fun environment for our pets. Thanks Beth and the staff for all you to give our pets a home away from home!

Their website is helpful in detailing their contract and showing pictures of where your animal will be staying. Property is spacious with designated play space for dogs. Cats are treated well. Kennels are spacious compared to others I have seen. Care is evident from the time you arrive with your pet. Especially when you pick them up - such a difference from ones we have used before - happy and content vs anxious and sad looking.
They do well with administering meds we have left and appreciate the notecards with how they did. We may stay at a low cost motel on our trip while they stay at a 5 star but it is worth our peace of mind in them receiving daily care and attention.

Excellent Daycare, Boarding facility! Extremely clean, friendly, healthy and professional place to take your dogs or cats! I can't get over the phenomenal care and thought put into the design of this place! Cameras, well trained staff, bathing, nail trimming, van pick up and drop off options, food included, great attention and care to all special needs pets.
I am missing things, you just have to check it out for yourself! Beth is the owner. Kara helps her manage it and the other staff is great with all the animals. Oh, did I mention it's a ranch setting, all fenced in with a huge running corral and pond!? I love the socializing of the pets aspect and the special considerations and caution to divide them by personality and aggression!
Oh and they even take care of unexpected emergencies and take no risks with your pet's safety or health if they appear ill or on that extremely rare occasion injured. Each resident gets a report card and goodie bag upon departure! I can't say enough good things about this place, you just have to try it out, even for a day!

This place is amazing and so unique! They are all animal lovers and treat our babies the way we would treat them. Our dog has a ball running around cage free and so do our cats. Our cats stay in a fancy cat condo that is unlike any other boarding facility around! They also take especially good care of our kitty with asthma who needs her inhaler. Leash and Bridle is a secret gem and I highly recommend it! So glad we found it!
