Livingston Veterinary Hospital

I brought my Yorkie of 16 years to this vet hospital. The kind of woman. I'll have to come back when I can think of her name. took so much time and patience with my wife, myself I wasn't sure if my dog had to be put down. I found out there was more wrong with him then I realized. This dog was my life soul, heartbeat with a connection I believe is rare.

I have been told he was holding on for my sake and I didn't want to be selfish. I even was given a locket of his hair in a ribbon as well as his footprint and name in clay. Thank you for making one of the worst experiences of my life as smooth as possible. Allowing me to spend the last minutes or more with my dog taking up to an hour of your time. Allowing me to give a special last meal even.

Good and professional. They treated my lil boy good. His surgery went great. He's been healing well with no issues. Only downside i wish they were more personable. It felt like ok let's get him, do the surgery, have pick up and payment, have a good day. Personally my animals are my family/ kids as well, i love them dearly. It would have been nice to converse more with staff.

The amount of love and passion that the Clausen's have for my pets is amazing! They go above and beyond and alway willing to help or find a solution! They are like family!

This is the best vet I have taken my dogs to. They are friendly and knowledgeable and they treat my pups very well. I always walk out feeling better about the care they have received.

I am so thankful for this veterinary hospital. I called another vet in town, and they could not see my 15 year old dog after another infection arose after being bitten by what we think was a brown recluse. Livingston Veterinary Hospital don't hesitate at all even though they had no appointments available. They told me to drop her off and they would squeeze her in somewhere and get her seen by the other be of the day.

They knew my concern because my dog is very old and she didn't seem to be doing well. They could see the infection was bad. They listened and wanted me to leave her overnight. They did not charge me to keep her overnight, which I found incredibly generous. You can tell how much they care for they're pet patients as well as the pet owners. I truly can not say enough great things about this place.

They reassured me the antibiotics should help, and told me to call if she didn't appear to be getting better. I'm so thankful, and my dog is finally starting to act and appear normal. I highly recommend this ver. The owners are amazing and the staff are all incredibly caring. I could hear them taking care of and cleaning my dog when I came to pick her up because she went to the bathroom in the kennel she slept in and stepped in it.

They kindly gave her a quick rinse and talked to her the whole time. Not only were they amazing in seeing my dog without an appointment, taking care of my dog, dealing with me being upset, but also the facility is very clean and inviting. The front desk staff is amazing too.

Having dogs my entire life. in a few different states, I've had some horrible veterinarians /horrible traumatic experiences. average vets, house call vets. Greg and Jill are by far the absolute best/outstanding! Both personally as well as professionally. (which is rare in the medical field) I will be sharing/referring to everyone I know personally as well as casually.

The veterinary doctors are great here with my two cats. I have a senior cat with cancer and a young cat with urinary problems - so I've been to them many times in the last few months both for routine and emergency care. Each time, I am pleasantly surprised by their attention to detail, expertise, and high quality care. I highly recommend them to everyone. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly, and very helpful.

From the moment we arrived in Livingston last year for the summer, Dr's Clausen and staff have always gotten my Irish Setter, Dougal, right in when we've needed them. Even this summer when he has been a puzzle, they've went above and beyond trying to keep him comfortable while working on eliminating diagnoses as well as working on a long term treatment plan with me. They are also wonderful with sending records to our Vet in Ohio, keeping everyone in the loop. I don't know what we'd do without them; this community is very fortunate.

We were on vacation near Yellowstone when our dog got sick. Took her to Livingston Veterinary Hospital per local recommendations and could not have been more pleased. The caring staff went above and beyond to ensure our pets welfare. Thank you again!

What you did for our family to help with Kaiser was above and beyond. The house visit, how calm, respectful and comforting your staff was. It was just very nice. And what you did with him after his passing warmed our hearts up. Thank you very very much.

They always take time with my cocker spaniel before any exam to make sure he's comfortable very kind hearted always there when I have any questions! Good people you can count on who truly care!

We were traveling with our 2 dogs and stayed in Pray for several days. One of them became sick and I called the clinic and they could see her the next day. LOVED everyone at the clinic, compassionate caring people. I would highly recommend!

My young dog became ill while we were traveling by motorhome to Yellowstone. I called Livingston Veterinary Hospital to discuss and they were able to see her the same morning. Both vets are professional, knowledgeable, and obviously love animals. They discussed any proposed tests with me and explained the results. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis, which was a shock because she's a puppy and gets only quality dog food in measured amounts, and no table scraps. Medications were prescribed. She's improving and the office followed up the next day by phone. While sitting in the waiting room for a short time, I was impressed by the staff's interactions with other clients, as well. I highly recommend this vet practice.

There are not enough words to tell you how great this place is I have an old dog that had an abscess on his foot that I was very concerned about. They took him in immediately and while trying to sooth his anxiety and pain, Dr Greg would kiss him on the head and that just broke my heart. The problem was fixed and we are now back on the road. God Bless them!

Do not hesitate to drive from Bozeman, Belgrade, or Timbuktu to take your pets to these wonderful veterinarians in Livingston. Drs. Clausen and Clausen perfectly blend professional expertise and kindness in their interactions with animals and humans. Their staff is outstanding and their facility is spotless. This is an exceptional veterinary practice.

The people at Livingston Veterinary Hospital are amazing. Doctors Greg and Misty Clauson are obviously deeply dedicated to the work they do. They went above and beyond the Call of Duty for our wonderful family dog. We were in town from San Francisco and our dog needed emergency surgery for kidney stones on Friday before Easter weekend. They performed the surgery, were kind compassionate and clear with us each step of the way.

We felt comfortable knowing that we were leaving our pet in capable hands. And they even came in on Saturday morning so we could pick up our pet and get on the road back to San Francisco for work Monday morning. The pets who get to see these guys as their regular vets are lucky. I would certainly bring my pets back if it wasn't an 1100 Mile Drive.

We think of our dog as a member of our family and take his health and well being seriously. It is a rare privilege to find a veterinarian facility that takes such pride in what they do. The staff here really take the time to connect with you and your pet. We will continue to bring our dog here and highly recommend them to anyone in search of a vet to care for their animal. Five stars isn't enough!

We called on our way to Livingston, and they gave us an appointment within an hour of calling for a new client. Customer service was top-notch, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The Vet showed genuine care, concern, and compassion for our kitty with an ear ache. he delivered a diagnosis professionally and timely. One of the best veterinary experiences I have ever had; couldn't recommend this establishment more!

Always absolutely phenomenal service and treatment of the animals and how much knowledge everyone has. makes me feel safe with how kind they are to leave my pets in their hands to take care of!

Excellent service and care. we were on vacation in Park Co. and our 18 yr. old dog ate something that made him very ill. Dr Greg and his wife Dr. Misty and the techs were very knowledgeable and caring and helped our pup feel better with the care they provided. if I lived in the area they would definitely be my vet!

Dr. Greg & Misty Clausen & of course your staff are great, our crazy dogs seem to always get hurt or eat something that they shouldn't and they always make time to see our crazy furry children they are so caring and compassionate they even helped me through the passing of my 17 year old chihuahua on July 28th of last year. so glad we met them when. they called for an electrician last year. so from Chad & Christina Wyckoff & our furry children & our business Livingston Local Electric we want you to know that we appreciate everything that you guys do.

As out of staters, it is always terrible if your dog needs medical attention. We were in Gardiner, MT (almost 2500 miles from home) when we realized we needed a great vet! Suffice it to say that when we couldn't get an appointment with a nearby vet, they recommended Livingston Veterinary Hospital. When we called, we were given an appointment as soon as we could get there! (Not in two weeks!) We felt total comfort and confidence as soon as we walked into the hospital.

The staff was welcoming and professional. Dr. Jeff Dickerson was gentle, thorough, spoke to us as though we were intelligent instead of patting our hand and saying "you shouldn't worry, everything will be fine." He spent a great deal of time examining our Zoe, explained what he wanted to do and tests he wanted to perform. He gave us several options, let us know which he recommended, and gave us enough information to decide what path to take.

He called the next day with results of her tests and checked on how she was doing. He also faxed the tests to our home vet. All turned out wonderfully and we loved Dr. Dickerson. If we lived in that area of Montana, Dr. Dickerson would be our number one choice for a vet!
