Lone Mountain Animal Hospital has a large section of the facility devoted to boarding your pet that includes large and extra-large runs for large-breed canines, and comfortable cages for small-to-medium breeds and felines. Ultrasound (also called sonography) is a diagnostic medical procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce dynamic, real-time, 2-D visual images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body. At Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, we have vaccine and wellness schedules available for ferrets, rabbits, pigs, and goats.
A proper vaccination series is necessary for the health and protection of your pet. Newborn puppies and kittens obtain antibodies from their mother. Over the course of the first few months of their life, these maternal antibodies fade and leave the pet susceptible to disease. Booster vaccines are given to stimulate the puppy or kitten's immune system as the maternal immunity is wearing off. Because adult animals' immunity can wane with time, adult booster vaccinations ensure protective immunity. What are Vaccine Titers?

Very disappointed today my dog had an appointment at 1:35 my son was five minutes late on top of that on arrival no one was At the front desk to help he was then told " oh let me see what the doctor wants to do" this was Dr. NATALIE GULSON I called and asked what was the grace period They said 10 minutes after I told them what had happened they changed it and said well it's up to the doctor to do what they decide.

I have worked in the medical field and know how this works had she wanted to she could've seen my dog who was due for shots. She could have accommodated us and could have made us wait a bit we would've understood even after telling them we lived further out still didn't accommodate us very disappointing I did ask for all records and plan on not coming back and going somewhere else. If I could I would give zero star.

This is the best animal hospital I have ever been to. The team is so compassionate and I truly think I would have lost my baby if it weren't for them trying everything possible to help my boy. My cat is typically a grumpy boy, but the team here is so patient with him and treats him so well. It's rare to find an office that truly understands he's just scared and works with him.

They can have a bit of a wait time sometimea, but they accept emergency patients and they treat exotic animals as well. I can't imagine taking my babies anywhere else. Not only are they great with my baby, but they are very well priced as well. I can not recommend this office enough!

I've been going here for so long and I don't really trust anyone else because of how lovely the women are here. I've taken my cats and dogs here (and at one point a bunny) and every single time I leave feeling like I not only understand what is being said but also that they're doing all they can for me and my babies without ripping me off. I highly recommend this place to everyone and I always tell my friends to go here.

I had adopted a lovable dog a few months ago. Decided to give the existing Vet a try. Very happy I did. Doctor was very thorough and answered the many questions I had. The support staff was excellent; extremely friendly and helpful I was taken on time and the visit was quick and efficient. I was very satisfied with the entire experience and thought the cost was extremely fair. Very satisfied

I had dental operation and I was under antibiotic and pain killer, something happened to my bird, and I found his foot is covered with blood, he was inside his cage, I didn't know what to do? I tried to stop bleeding, but I couldn't do it, I didn't want to drive with all that I had in my system, anyway, I couldn't find his traveler cage, I just put him in a box and took him to this place, and I explained what happened, the lady asked me do you have an appointment, I was shock, how could I have an appointment for something like this, just happened 30 minutes ago, I said no, she said that we have to go with emergency, and she said it will be $250, I told her I don't have that kind of money, she said, do you want to make an appointment, I told her this bird is dying, she said we are booked up we don't have any opening, I couldn't see anybody in the lobby for next appointment, I said if I go with emergency, do you have an opening, she said yes, I said how?

I was willing to pay $100, and I wished I had $250, and I could take acre of this poor bird, as you see, if you don't have enough money, they are not going to love your pet, everything is about money, I asked her, don't you care about this bird, he's dying, that's your job. where is our sympathy? I don't know, if my bird is going to survive, but this is not right!? I wish, we could live in a different world not the one we are in it. How can we call our self a human? God bless my bird and all the animals and pets. Thanks.

Won't be coming back to this place again. I waited 2 hours for my dogs ear to get checked had an appointment and wasn't seen till an hour after the appointment. I needed to get my dogs ears looked at for an infection, which is 55 for an "ear exam" 45 for them to swab the ear which I'm not sure why is wasn't included with the ear exam cost. then 50 for medicine and 26 for her last shot.

I was quoted 176 then all of a sudden after they come back give me the medicine and tell me what was wrong it's 192. I already told them it was going to be hard for me to pay the 175 I even had them take off certain things so we could lower it to an affordable price for me. The vet assistant says of she went over your 50 dollar budget. then says they can take the ear medicine out.

That's the whole reason I came in and the reason I budgeted with them so I could afford the visit. I waited 2 hours in the room for a vet visit that should have taken 30 minutes. if that. Overcharged for literally no reason. I definitely will be taking my dog to a different Vet office. the prices are way to high and the wait times for appointments is ridiculous. Why make an appointment if You won't be seen hours after that appointment time.

We were seeking a second opinion on our puppy's hips. Parker (the vet) was so informative and genuine, you could tell she actually cared about the well being of our pet. Actually all the staff really loved on her, each person gave our puppy kisses and pets you could tell they actually cared. The previous vet we saw before coming here allowed our puppy to be in pain while getting X-rays she was screaming, this vet made sure she was relaxed and gave her something to help with the discomfort our puppy was having with the X-rays.

We haven't been to a better vet. They explained each step we needed to take and the best way to go about getting our puppy a hip surgery. They covered each and every base making sure we were comfortable and understood each step. If you're questioning your current vet try this one, you wont regret it! Thank you so much for helping our Wanda.

Do not take your reptile here. I came in to see what a bump was near my chameleons back, the vet assumed it was his hip bone. He suggested we get X-rays to check for MBD, well $200 later, he still didn't know what it was, and still assumed it was a hip bone. Turns out it was an abscess that needed to be removed, which was determined by another vet!

Several months later, my chameleon now has an incurable virus called Papilloma, which is spread through "contact with the blood of an infected lizard and then handling another lizard"! I don't have any other lizards and it definitely came from this place. Never again!

It is with a heavy heart I had to put my beloved Smitty to rest. Of course this is an awful time for any pet owner and making the call is devastating. The staff was amazing, kind and caring. Victoria went out of her way to help and comfort me. Thank you so much for making a terrible experience more relaxing and peaceful.
