Excellent place to bring your pups and the only kennel I would bring my dogs to in Huntsville. The owners are good people. I will more than likely have to use their services again as my wife and I travel for work.

Dogs well taken care of. I had boarded dogs here before many years ago. Now have two on medication so figured it would be better to board as opposed to pet sitter who is not great with giving meds. With that said my complaint is that I was not able to pick up my dogs by 6 PM due to baggage glitch at Houston airport. Stephanie texted me that if I did not pick up by that time, then I would have to wait until 7:30 the next morning.

I live one hour north of Magnolia Kennel and figured this was convenient because it was on the way to airport and also on the way home. She said they had plans for the evening and therefore I couldn't do a late pick up. Needless to say I was forced to come all the way back to pick up my dogs the next morning. No apologies and no excuses were made by owner. Somehow that personal service got lost. Enough said.

My wife and I moved to Huntsville and boarded our cat here during the actual move-in process. Our cat is old and very skittish. As a matter of fact, we weren't sure she would live through all the upset. These folks took great care of her. They kept us informed on how she was doing. They were able to get her to calm down and start eating and drinking regularly again.

She was in better condition when we picked her up than when we dropped her off. We couldn't be happier with them and the service they gave us. If you have a critter you love, the folks are someone you can trust to take good care of them. I highly recommend them.

If I could give 10 STARS I would! I couldn't be more grateful for such a great place to take care of my dog! The owners always provide the best care and are always accommodating with my needs (even if they're last minute). 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who ever needs a home away from home for their furbabies!

Our Australian Shepherd Mix, Liberty, is a 14 year old beloved member of our family and has been boarded only at Magnolia Kennel through the years. Liberty always seems to look forward to seeing Ms. Stephanie. Honestly, Liberty gets excited when we turn in to the driveway. She jumps out of the car with her tail wagging, runs around just a bit and then straight for the door to the kennel.

We always have her bathed before we pick her up and her long hair is always cleaned up very nicely. They also make sure her ears are clean; the vest always comments on how nicely clean her ears are. The staff always lets us know if there are any concerns about Liberty's health or behavior so that we can contact the vet if it is needed. I highly recommend Magnolia Kennel.

I admittedly do not like to leave my little dog. Not even for one night, but, it is necessary sometimes. Especially when my whole family goes on Summer Vacation! Magnolia Kennel really cares about each and every animal they have there. Dogs each have their own space, indoors, with a doggie door that lets them out into their own enclosure. It is very clean, and all the employees I met were amazing.

Very obvious they hire only animal lovers. What made me most comfortable is the fact they called me every day! They knew I was nervous about leaving her, and put me at ease with their calls.

DO NOT BOARD HERE! When I picked up my dog she was scared and very withdrawn, tail tucked between her legs and honestly just not right! She also smelled strongly of urine and her hair was matted and dirty, this was not how I left her! I texted daily to see how my dog was doing and each time it was the same response "No Problems" It took 24 hours for my dog to come back around to her normal happy self!

At first I thought she was just sad that I had left her but in talking to others who had boarded there, it was the same change in demeanor for their dog. I don't know what happens there but if you love your pet as much as I love mine, go somewhere else!

Stephanie and her crew are the best! Our fur babies are always clean and content when we pick them up after boarding them. Magnolia accommodates in every way and we have used them anytime we need boarding. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

My dog was literally soaked in what I assumed was her own urine. I guess it could have been another dogs pee pee. (Equally as gross). Either way she was soggy with pee. I occasionally board dogs for people and 1. I have never had a dog piss itself in a kennel and 2. If a dog were to pee on itself I would bathe it before the owner picked it up. This is just good old fashioned NEGLECT.

The only good thing about this kennel is that it is cheap. But remember you get what you pay for. My dog has been here three times. The first time was okay. The second time the employees said she constantly went potty in her run. Which is unlike her & she has been boarded many times before. So this last time when I went to drop her off I mentioned to an employee that it was unlike her to do that so maybe they could take her out more or something. An hour after dropping her off I get a tacky voicemail from the owner saying that maybe next time I should take my dog to another kennel because clearly she is not comfortable here.

Why would you call and leave that voicemail when I'm not in town? It's not like I could turn around and go get her. Luckily I found someone to go pick her up that same day. When I arrived home Monday I noticed that she was covered in fleas. She has not come into any contact with any other dog since going to the kennel Friday.

Great place! We have two dogs while we are living in an apartment. I work full time while my Fiance is finishing up school and also working. I could not imagine making it without Stephanie and the crew! They make sure our babies get to run and play! It is as clean of a place as anyone should expect. I mean dogs will be dogs. We have left them overnight for a week before with absolutely no problems! Overall, great staff, clean facilities, and a place to meet other pups! Can't ask for much more.

PLEASE do not bring your dogs here! i dont know about these other 5 star reviews? probably owner written. omg i trusted them because from the outside the place looks really nice. BUT not inside. i came over once without letting them know i was coming. i opened the office door and was practically knocked over by the smell of urine. i am not talking a bit of pee-no i am talking gaseous urine. the kind that burns your eyes and throat. i couldnt breath and had to step outside. i took my dog out and never looked back. i cried so hard now knowing why he freaked so much when i took him there. jeez, i left him there to be abused! that is a tough pill to swallow! please do not use magnolia kennels. it is all a mirage.my dog even had probelms when he came home. he started to tear up my clotes and poop in the house. what was once an independant doggie became a very needy, afraid to leave my side puppy. it was heartbreaking! please i cannot stress enough, . dont go there!

I absolutely love this Kennel and Ms. Stephenie! She is wonderful with my dog child and is always kind and always provides any kind of assistance she can regarding what my dog may need or just offering dog advice. They do a wonderful job and they are always renovating the space to make it bigger and less stressful on the animals. If you ever need a place to board your dog child, this is certainly the place to take them. And the prices are great as well. My pup always comes home ready to sleep, which is always good in my book!

I began the search for a kennel for Peanut several months ago. There aren't many options in Huntsville, but after my experience with Magnolia Kennel, you don't need many others! They are THE place to go. Peanut is the first dog I've ever owned, so I have been a little extra careful and overprotective of him. One of 'those' pet parents, you might say.

I made him a reservation for Mother's Day weekend since we would be out of town. A few weeks before our trip, I contacted the kennel to see if I could tour the facility. (The pictures on the website don't do it much justice.) The owner, Stephanie, personally led me on a tour of the kennels and answered most of my questions before I could even ask them!

They do not claim to be a fancy shmancy dog hotel, but the facility is in good shape and well-maintained. Everything they do is for the benefit of their four-legged customers. And these people know dogs! Since Peanut had never been boarded or even around other dogs, Stephanie recommended their Doggie Day Out service, like daycare for dogs. The price was right, so we signed him up.

His first day was bumpy, (he had an accident in his kennel), but he's happily been back many more times! We are happy to continue bringing our business to Magnolia Kennel!

Discovered this place a few months ago. It's clean, the owners are nice and our dogs seem happy enough with it. And on top of that, it is affordable! I recommend it!

Love this place! My puppy child loves the owners! The kennel is very clean and well maintained has a large gated play area for outdoor Activites!
