I just got both of my dogs back today after being gone and having them boarded for 5 days. I can honestly say I'd never bring them back. My husky came back home with dried poop all on her right back leg. Looks like she had been lying in it for awhile. For someone who prides themselves on 20+ years of experience with animals and claims "cleanliness and wellbeing" as one of the importance to maintain, (per their website) sure didn't happen. The least they could've done was clean her dried poop off. Nope, no thanks.

Midwest takes great care of our dogs! They come back happy and well fed. I never worry about them when I leave them there because they truly do care about my pets!

We took our German Shepard for training at Midwest Canine Training. The Trainer is very respectful, and really knows his stuff. He did a great job with our girl. I highly recommend this place.

The owner is rude and dismissive. I tolerated from him because I thought he must know what he was doing and I was hoping he could help our dog. I was wrong. Our Great Pyrenees was there for more than three weeks. The owner complained to me that I called too much and I was bothering him;. I called once a week to check on his progress. When we picked him up he yelled at me for petting my dog too much.

He made me feel like the worst dog owner in the world. Everything I did was wrong. He said I shouldn't take him with me for rides and that I show him too much affection. He talked about his other clients and made fun of them. If he was talking about a woman, he would raise his voice high and repeat what she had said in a mocking tone. I found out after I picked up my dog that he had kept him locked up in the kennel for a week solid and never let him out because they were afraid of him.

The owner informed me that his employee said my dog was psychotic. I would have never had allowed that and he should have called me to pick him up. He also charged me for training him for three weeks, Even though one full week he didn't train him. I brought him in because of aggression and he didn't help that. All he did was make him afraid of kennels.

Since going there he is afraid of the vet, because he has to go in a kennel sometimes. I did more research and worked with other trainers and now he is a much better dog. All of things he told me about being too affectionate and that I shouldn't spend so much time with him were wrong. He is an arrogant, rude man and I would never recommend him to anyone.

If you're going to be arrogant, you need to be able to back it up and he doesn't. I trusted him with my pet and he betrayed that trust by locking him up in a kennel for a week without letting him out.

Apparently they use shock collars on kenneled dogs. Took our dog there while we were out of town. Paid for the vip treatment. See website for details. Picked him up a week later with 3 deep burn marks on his neck. Not one thing said to us about it. Had to take him to the vet to get treated. Vet said it was at least a few days old.

Very clean, very helpful, and very no-nonsense. We boarded our dog for the weekend, but upon drop-off, asked training questions and talked about some struggles we were having with our dog. We weren't rushed out the door, and were given more attention than we deserved! Upon pick-up, everything was ready to go, and we had another friendly greeting from staff, plus our pup was excited and seemed healthy and happy, but not totally crazy. Tight pick-up windows, but when you do a good job and are in demand, you can set those things that way.highly recommend.

They did an awesome job with my male German Shepherd Duke. You could see the joy in the staffs face as they were working with him. Duke is doing commands he has struggled with in the past. They also made a lot of progress with him working on his dog aggression. Dave also gave us the tools and instructions to continue working with Duke on our own. We are happy to have Duke home and are excited to work on our other goals with him.

Amazing trainer! We are extremely impressed with this service. Our stubborn/lazy dog had some minor issues and needed more obedience training. When we brought him home from Midwest Canine, he was such a different dog and we are so thankful!

This man LOVES his job! I am blown away at what he did for boarding training! If i could give him 10 stars out of 5 I would! The confidence, discipline, demeanor, and training my dog recieved is impeccable! Extremely reasonable! If i ever get another dog he will train it no madder what! My dog that was trained is a weimeriner when i got home my two small old dogs actually like him now! I cannot give enough reasons this was the best investment I have ever made!
