I purchased the business from Teesh in August of 2019. When given the opportunity to purchase this business, there was no question. I absolutely love my job. It's not always easy, but it's so rewarding being around our clients' pets every day. Each dog & cat that comes here has a different personality, and it's so much fun getting to know them.
Our hours are Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 6:15pm, Saturday 9am - 4pm, Sunday Closed. Sunday arrivals & departures are by appointment only. We are closed on holidays. All boarding dogs must arrive at least one hour prior to us closing. Any dogs/cats arriving after 5pm must first be fed dinner before arriving.
Think of it as playschool for dogs. At Morgan's Paw's Pet Care Center, your dog can socialize with buddies, revel in attention from caregivers and enjoy play activities. There is also a quiet place for a tired doggie to rest. After a day of play at Morgan's Paws Pet Care Center Doggie Daycare, your dog will be as tired as you are, and you can spend the evening cuddling on the couch instead of going for that five-mile run!
Here at Morgan's Paws Pet Care Center in York, PA, we provide Pet Boarding Services for both dogs and cats. While your doggie is boarding with us they will get their own room to hang out in, access to go outside whenever they would like and a daily walk. In addition, you can opt for many extras -- from Luxury Suites, grooming and much more.
Our Luxury Suites provide your pets a mini vacation of their own while you're taking yours!. While your doggie is boarding with us they will get their own room to hang out in with access to go outside whenever they would like. They also get to go on a nice walk everyday. With boarding, you may opt to include Doggie Daycare with your pet's stay.

For those that are interested in working at that dog daycare either: don't do it or be warned! As a former employee who used to work there, the owner carries a huge attitude who'll yell at her employees unapologetically whenever errors are found or when she has a bad day. New employees are hired right away though wouldn't last long, will quit due to the toxic environment and the never-ending drama when things go wrong throughout the building is the main reason that place is understaffed and they're always trying to hire more people in which most of them won't stay.

I used the self service dog wash, the staff is very friendly and helpful and it's a nice clean place to wash your dog so you don't have to do it at home.

I've used Morgan's for retail and hair grooming services and I can honestly say I won't go anywhere else. It's hard to find quality food in stock, locally, and that are reasonably priced. They also updated inside and looks awesome!

This is a doggie daycare that I have used for years! They have never let me down, and I dont think they will. My dog always has a great time at Morgans Paws, my dog is 14 weeks and already has gotten used to the daycare. The best place ever!

I take my little girl pup here for her beauty spa day. She isn't the easiest to work with but they put up with her. They are always friendly and polite. Thank you all for your services!

My dog loves going to daycare! We also get her groomed here. The staff is wonderful, they go above and beyond for their customers. Great hours, reasonable prices, and they offer a lot of services.

A great boarding and grooming experience. Our dog looked happy and had a great cut/trim when we picked her up. The staff were beyond helpful and responsive with our last minute request and very friendly and professional in person.

Not the Morgan's Paws of years ago. My dog was attacked while attending daycare. I understand that animals do that, but I am extremely disappointed in the way the staff handled this. They cleaned him up and made no mention that he was attacked. When I brought to their attention that his ear was torn from his head, his eye was torn at the corner, and he had a deep puncture wound on the top of his head, they initially claimed they had no knowledge of anything happening and suggested this may have occurred prior to him coming in.

Many versions later, the stated that the attack was unprovoked, but still would not provide detail. The staff was very cold and uncaring with regard to what happened. To make matters worse, they continue to allow the aggressor to attend day care. I pulled my dog out immediately. Morgan's Paws is no longer the only daycare option in York County. My advice is to look elsewhere.

They just increased their prices and changed their terms and conditions. There must have been an incident of some kind. Not sure I will continue using them.

I had never boarded my dog anywhere. I was nervous about leaving her for the first time, but the staff made me feel so comfortable. She had a great time! In fact when I picked her up and drove away, she cried! I highly recommend boarding your animals here, the staff is friendly and informative!

Absolutely terrible experience with Morgan's Paw over the summer of 2017. I picked my dog up after a 17 day stay to find out that he had a scratched cornea and a piece of his nose missing. The scratched cornea was so deep my vet feared that it was life threatening. No-one at Morgan's Paws had noticed that my dog was half blind and in extreme pain.

Even after being told to look out for any behavioral changes since he was a senior dog on medication. How long had he been in pain? I also called a few times to get verbal confirmation that he was fine. I was told he was eating well. When I picked him up he had lost 15% of his body weight. That's not eating well, that's not eating at all. For their lying and complete lack of care this place is a disgrace to the pet care industry. Avoid like the plague. Zero stars.

The girl behind the counter was extremely helpful in giving me details about doggie daycare. However they lost me as a customer for daycare and boarding because they discriminate against pitbulls (which my dog is not I just think it is extremely wrong) I hope this will keep other people from using them as well. Oh as long as your paperwork doesn't say pitbull you can take your dog there. so your dog can infact look like and be a pit but the paperwork must say otherwise?.that's laughable. I'd like to meet this idiot of an owner.

I used to take my shy rescue for daycare a couple times a week for several months for a 1/2 day just to get more socialized. At first it seemed she was enjoying it, but she wasn't drinking any water or peeing while there ( she peed like a racehorse and drank the well dry every time she came home ). I asked them to please offer her water, please just kind of keep an extra eye on her until she got more used to the new routine, etc.

I was pretty rudely told there was plenty of water for all the dogs and she'd drink if she was that thirsty, and pee if she really had to go. I didn't like their attitude, and stopped taking her after a month or so. I'm sure if my sweet girl was given just a little bit of extra attention things would have worked out just fine. I know literally a hundred people that either take their dogs to daycare or have them watched at home, and I hope the owner reads this : YOU HAVE GONE WAY DOWNHILL IN THE PAST YEAR OR SO. YOUR REPUTATION IS ONLY GETTING WORSE FROM WHAT I HEAR. CHANGE YOUR STAFF OR GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS IF YOU HAVE NO COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS NOR RESPECT FOR THEIR HUMANS. PEOPLE PAY GOOD MONEY FOR YOUR SERVICES. YOU NEED TO START RESPECTING THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE OR YOU WILL SOON HAVE ZERO CLIENTS.

The management at Morgan's Paws is terribly and inexcusably rude. It took us MONTHS to schedule a meet and greet with our puppy because of their extremely limited schedule. When we finally managed to arrange a visit, we made one wrong turn (I'd never been there before) and arrived 10 minutes late. We were greeted with not a hello, but rather "you were supposed to be here 10 minutes ago".

We then stood there for another 10 minutes while the woman we were scheduled to meet with giggled and looked at pictures on an iPhone with another client - certainly not conducting any meaningful business. I was finally informed that I'd need to reschedule. After months of waiting and an hour round trip, this was totally unacceptable. If they want to impose such a strict policy, than it should be made ABUNDANTLY CLEAR in advance.

At the very least, a minimum degree of courtesy and a polite apology would have been warranted. This was extremely disappointing and I'd encourage you to look for someplace friendlier and more professional. We won't be back.

Fisher is a Boxer & we were taking him to dogie day care, he would limp when he would leave, we discussed this with them like three different times & kept blowing us off, we were told he would go into the medium dog room since he weighs 50 pounds but every time they would put him in the large dog room & every time he would limp when leaving, he was being put in with 100 pound dogs thats double his weight, the fact that they did not care if my dog was limping is just scary that people trust there precious baby's with these monsters!

So i had enough & reached out to the manager today & I tried my hardest to be nice, she is not nice & could care less about customer service or my dog or any one else dog as far as that goes, so I explained that i will not be bringing my dog back there anymore & would like my money back for the days i had prepaid for which was one full day & two half days which was 50.00 & of course that money is nonrefundable, this along with when i would pick Fisher up how bad he would smell & they would hand me all his dog food back that i sent for him to eat & of course they did not feed him or he did not eat, either way its not good, I wish i could give them a negative 10 worst experience ever, Please do not send your precious Dog to this awful place, they deserve so much better!

My dog was going to Morgan's Paws for about 3 years. She enjoyed the people there and was always excited to go. The people that work in the room with them always seemed friendly. I was called by the manager who told me that my dog attacked another dog and then bit a handler and that she was not longer welcome there. I was told that she had been having problems there with aggression for some time.

But this was the first time anyone had said anything to me. I question what happened because my dog never had problems with aggression before. After speaking to a former employee, she agreed that my dog was never aggressive there. I'm not sure what actually happened. I called the manager a couple of days later and she did not bother to return my call. I would not recommend Morgan's Paws unless the management changes.

Will not be taking our dog here again. It is nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone. You must leave a message then they'll call you back. In my experience, they are not very customer friendly. We actually took our dog here once before and had a horrible experience from a customer service standpoint (waiting 20+ minutes to pick up our dog behind another customer with multiple employees walking by and not one saying hello or we'll be right with you) and our dog coming home with a cut on his nose with no explanation or word on this from the employees.

We originally thought we'd try again (since every place has bad experiences & flukes) but again had a lot of difficulty with customer service and rude employees so we ultimately decided to take our dog (and money) elsewhere.

We love our dogs and totally overindulge. It's tough to let them go to a kennel or daycare but when the need does arise, this is the only place that we trust will take care of them. They are great.

I scheduled an appointment for my dog to be evaluated before they would accept him into doggy day care. I showed up on time for my appointment, however I didn't have the form completed. The manager said I would have to reschedule the appointment and they would not take my dog. Well, seeing how they only evaluate dogs at noon every day I am now left keeping my pup at work.

When I asked if I could fill out the form while they completed the evaluation the lady said NO, the manager would not allow that. Really? Come on' I live 45 minutes away and now they won't take the dog because the form wasn't completed before I arrived. Then she stated they wouldn't accept my pet because his vet shots don't have an expiration date.

Even though it says he was born 2 months before the shot was given, they said the shot could be expired. Again, come on' The shots don't expire in 2 months. Use common sense people! This is such a disappointment. I was really looking forward to being a customer and now I irate due to customer service. Like similar posters, it seems like the customer service really needs to be addressed. Anyways, I already called Greenlin Pet resort.

Our dog has attended Morgan's Paws for more than three years. Some weeks she is there once and other she is there three times! Every time we go away we board her there and would take her no where else. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Molly feels special and I feel so good dropping her off there!

We need a place to board our two dogs and have visited and toured several kennels. Morgans Paws was recommended so we stop by to have a look. We asked if we could have a tour and the staff said a tour of what. They said we were not permitted to tour the facility but could only look at web cams. The staff was very rude and not friendly. Every other kennel we visited more than graciously offered to show us their facility.

How would anyone board their pet at a place that you can't look at. What do they have to hide. well we will never go to this place again. Be sure to look at the other comments. Funny how 11 comments are deemed not recommended by Yelp. Interesting.

Just got back from vacation and I had booked a stay for the dogs from Saturday to Saturday. When I arrived they told me I had booked the dogs to stay until sunday, which I know for a fact I only booked for Saturday to Saturday because we have had this beach trip booked for almost 8 months. Like many others I had a huge problem with the manager calling me a liar and threatening me to pay for Sunday because she was certain we booked until Sunday.

I have been taking my dogs here since they opened and have spent enough of my money at this place to get a little respect from the manager. She pretty much replied that she didn't care about the business I've given them and mentioned she had to turn people away for their own mistake in the reservation. Not to mention we had a death in the family a few days before our vacation and we weren't sure if we were going to cancel our vacation as well as our reservation at Morgans Paws.

When I talked to an employee about this issue they told me I was going to have to pay for the reservation. How's that for some customer service? Someone needs to go in and clear out the unhelpful and rude staff from this place. This should be pretty obvious, but I will no longer be giving them my business.

Bruiser goes to Morgans Paws for daycare 3 times a week and loves going there. You can tell this because he pulls to get inside and if no one is there to take him back he barks and barks to get someone's attention until they take him back and then pulls them too. All of the employee's I have dealt with are wonderful, that includes any past ones and well as current ones.

You can tell the employees just love the pets that come in by the way the interact with the owners as well as the animals. We have taken advantage of the many services they offer: daycare, boarding, self serve pet wash as well as the groomer, and of course the store. I can trust the pet foods they offer there to be good for Bruiser. I have not had any issues with the service we have received since we started taking Bruiser there in 2006. We will continue to take him there until we move out of the area or he can't go anymore.

This place is awful! Management called me after I had to cancel my boarding appointment without giving 48 hours of notice (I only gave 40 hours of notice) to let me know that I was going to be charged my 25.00 deposit. When I attempted to talk to the employee about this, she hung up the phone on me! When I called the next day to speak with the mananger, I was told that they have hired two new receptionists this past month. That is no excuse for hanging up the phone on a customer. If that is how they treat people, imagine how they treat dogs. I would never take my dog to this place!

We took Big Guy here on recommendation from a friend. This is an old warehouse/manufacturing plant of some kind. They have every service known to cat-dog kingdom! boarding, day care, self serve dog washes (what we went for!), retail store and indoor pool! it was open swim when we were there and the dogs were besides them selfs having fun. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We got Big Guy loaded up into the standard grooming bath and gave a good scrub. use of the blow dryer, towels and shampoos, 45 minutes we were out of there. Plus no mess for us to clean up, no aching back and Big Guy got a bag of his favorite sweet potato treats to boot. Everybody wins!
