We have been privileged to own Muckamoor Boarding Kennels since 2011. Muckamoor has been happily serving Plover, Stevens Point, and Central Wisconsin since 1952! It brings us great joy to give your pet the attention it needs and deserves. We realize each pet is a unique individual. We will make every effort to come to know your dog, cat, or other pet personally, so we can give your special family member the very best pet care. Our priority is to provide a service we would want our own pets to receive!

When you're away, we don't want you to have the slightest worry - though we're sure your treasured companions will stay in your thoughts. Muckamoor is a complete no mix kennel. This means your dog will see other pets, but will never be in direct physical contact with them. This takes more time and diligence, but it is worth it!
Unique to Muckamoor Boarding Kennels is our Purr-Z-Moor Cat Condos. It is a completely separate building from where the dogs are boarded. Easy listening music plays and provides a peaceful relaxing atmosphere for even the most discerning cat. Cats are in "condos" with resting shelves, and of course, a private window is provided for each condo.
A veterinarian record showing your Dog is up to date on Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and a clean fecal or parasite preventative must be provided. Boarding charges begin the day you check in, but you will not be charged for the release day, if you pick up in the available morning hours. Sunday is always charged, because morning hours are not available.

We left Summit for a week while we took a much needed vacation. She needed a bath when we dropped her off and just planned to do it when we got home. When we picked her up we were so pleasantly surprised that Kelly had already given her one. She smelled so good. It certainly made our day. You just can't beat Muckamoor and the wonderful people that look after the animals.

Fantastic boarding facility. We have taken our staffy to a few boarders in the area and by far they have treated her more like a princess than anywhere else. My pup has special needs, and they have always been so accommodating to her. They treat her like family, and its really comforting to know that when I leave her there, she is very well taken care of.

I have 4 large dogs (ages 16,8,5,1) and wouldn't take them anywhere else! All of them love going! They have a very clean facility! They are very organized when it comes to your dog's food and belongings. I like my dogs paired up a particular way and they are always willing to accommodate me and my preferences. Not to mention they are wonderful caring people.

My 2 doxies are my babies and was very hesitant about ever boarding them. However, muckamoor came highly recommended by many of my friends. Since then my pups have stayed there for every vacation we have had for the last 3 years. It is their home away from home. The facility is extremely clean, and the owners are amazing. I never worry when my pups are there, I'm able to enjoy my vacation.

We had our dogs here for two months, they treated then we'll and we visited when we were able. Prices are reasonable and they are willing to help in any way they can. Only for start because our dog got a puncture wound on her face and they didn't notice it. We saw it when we arrived, they recommend a very and we took her there. They did a great job of caring for her when we brought her back to the kennel.
