I was already going to give Nasa Pet Hospital a 5 star review, but they exceeded my expectations even more today! I am currently visiting the area while I travel with my husband for work, and we bring our pets with us. Our cat, Sergio, has been sick as of late so I started calling around to book an appointment with a vet clinic. I found another clinic besides Nasa Pet Hospital initially, but they didn't have any availability until next week.

I called Nasa Pet Hospital and they were able to book me the following day. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted and the waiting room was clean and welcoming. Checking in as a new patient was easy, and the gal working the front desk was extremely friendly. We went back to an examine room where I met Dr. Paula Ramsey and she was absolutely wonderful.

I expressed my concerns and let her know of Sergio's symptoms, and she did a complete checkup on him. She was very informative and explained everything thoroughly to me which I really appreciated. She suggested that I use some nose drops for his condition that they had on hand. I've never administered nose drops before, so I asked if they could show me and give him his first dosage while I was there. Dr. Ramsey and a technician were kind enough to take the time to do that for me and I couldn't thank them enough for that!

I can't tell you how many times at other clinics they just sent me home with some random medicine without telling me how to administer it or ways to make it easier. I was very happy with our visit already, but today I got a call from the clinic just to check in and see how Sergio was doing and if I had any additional questions that I might have thought of since our appointment - I don't think I've ever received that kind of service from a veterinarian clinic before!

I let the employee know that he seemed to be doing better already with the suggestions and medicine I was given, and I thanked her so much for following up with a phone call. If I could give this establishment more than 5 stars, I would! I have never felt so taken care of and comfortable knowing my pet was in good hands as I have here, and I'm just visiting! I wish they were my regular vet clinic! Definitely give them a call if for your pets' medical needs! Thank you Nasa Pet Hospital!

Not a positive experience for me all around. Let me start by saying that the staff here are generally friendly. My issue is with service and the way they operate. My first visit here I was introduced to their absurd "covid protocol" whereby I waited in my car until called, then told I could come in. Then you're required to wear a mask inside. This is by choice, this is a choice being made by the vet to act like this in 2022.

Like a grocery store. Word of advice since you're operating in Texas - DROP the covid theater already. If that weren't bad enough, my last visit I waited in excess of an hour in the car because someone before me came in with an emergency, guess that bumps you to the back of the line despite not being an emergency clinic? I'm sorry but waiting AN HOUR plus for the privilege of giving the vet hundreds of dollars is not really acceptable.

It is clear to me between the parking situation (no space), the wait times, and quality of service, that this vet has overextended itself with clients. Do NOT take pn new clients if you can't meet your obligations to the time frames that have been scheduled. I have since chosen a different vet. Plenty to choose from in the area.

I was referred to See Dr McCoy at Nasa Pet Hospital and I can't say enough good things about my whole experience. My dog Bella ended up needing a major dental surgery. She is 11 yrs old so I was already worried about putting her through something like this. Dr McCoy was so kind, caring, knowledgeable, and informative throughout the whole experience.

Everyone from the wonderful receptionist (Joy) to the assistants, they were all so kind, caring, and helpful. Like many, my pets are my children & it's a wonderful feeling knowing that they are getting the best care possible. It was a blessing being referred to Nasa Pet Hospital.

First I want to start off by saying this place cares about your pet! I feel super bad because I bother them a lot but they kept helping me and never turned me away. They took their time to listen and help the best they could. I called to schedule my dog for an exam because he's been throwing up for the past 2 days and suspected a blockage. The lady was really sweet and was honest and told me she'd rather me go to one place then pay more money than i have to.

She told me they didn't have a doctor at the moment who could do a surgery like that today and recommended me to other clinics. I called the other clinics and got no luck with coming in. I called them back feeling really bad because Ive been calling them all day, and asked if he could just come in for a exam and a x-ray. They had a super busy schedule and managed to take me in when they didn't have to.

They sounded like they really wanted to help and really cared about my pet. Another clinic they recommended called me and told me they could see my dog. So i had to call them back for the 4-5th time to tell them that a clinic they recommended could take me in. They were so understanding and not mad at all! If you want a clinic who cares about your pet, I very much recommended taking them here!

They were completely booked on a Saturday and found time to squeeze me in super last minute to examine my pup that had a cough. Staff was very friendly and took it upon themselves to contact my regular vet to get all records.

Puppy kisses to NASA pet hospital for going above and beyond! Pros: - impressed with how the hospital receptionist answered the phone and my queries - impressed with how I was greeted when I entered the reception area - impressed with the helpfulness of the staff to call Petco to verify my pet's vaccination records (and it was even my fault for not bringing the records with me) - impressed by the cleanliness of the reception area and examination room - impressed by the caring nature of all the staff - from the receptionist to the veteranarian

First time taking my baby here. The place is small and sorta hidden, but that's what I like about it. It's not overwhelmed with customers or a 1 stop shop where individual care for your dog can sometimes get lost. I had to leave him at the vet office because the doctor was about to perform a procedure, to which I learned there was no fee for them holding him until the doctor could look at him like another place I took him to.

The doctor actually called me, explained my baby's condition and gave me the best regimen to fix his problem. He also explained other things that should be taken care of in the future and not true to make me do this stuff now. This doctor was very professional and I thanked him for it. This is my new baby's vet, and have no worries leaving him under his care!

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND INHUMANE! I took my dog to NASA Pet Hospital as he was breathing strangely. The vet came in and listened to his heart and said he had a very bad murmur, gums were very pale, organs were not functioning properly and he was going to die. Of course, I became very upset and told her, the vet, that I did not want my pet to suffer and that was the most important thing.

The vet then took my pet from me and left the room. The next person to come into the room was the assistant who had paperwork and a "treatment plan" I told her I was confused as the vet just said my dog was dying. I signed the document for my pet to have x-rays, oxygen treatment and whatever else the vet recommended for the best interest in my pet, the tech left.

The vet took me to look at x-rays and showed me that his lungs were just about completely full of fluid and that he had heart failure, murmur, but that she recommended an ultrasonic exam. What? Walked back to the exam room, still no pet back to me. The next time I saw the vet, she gave me 4 prescriptions and flea treatment. Again WHAT? She said that maybe he would live another year or two.

Completely perplexed, I took my dog to the counter to check out. My pets tongue was protruding from his mouth, his eyes were bulging, he was gasping and could not stand up. After a lengthy check out process and a very rude young lady at the counter, I took my dog to my car to hurriedly get him home. I live 1.2 miles away from Nasa Pet Hospital. By the time I got my pet home and placed him on his favorite couch and removed my shoes he was climbing up the back of the couch, dragging himself because HE COULD NOT BREATHE or stand up, I placed him on the top cushions were he arched up then flopped forward dead; foam and bloody mucous coming from his nose, tongue way out of his mouth. my dog drowned in his own fluids. Suffocated for hours.

So much for not suffering. But hey, at least they gouged me for 650.00 The following day consisted of having the cremation service pick him up and a lot of crying at the fact Nasa Pet Hospital placed priority over ripping me off to the tune of 650.00 rather than doing the humane thing and put my dog to sleep to stop his suffering. I went back into the office to tell them they needed to credit the medicine they charged me for as he died immediately after we left their facility.

I was told they would not. Also, I requested she print out my pets file for me to have - also told they would not. they would email it shortly. I did not get the email for over 24 hours - plenty of time for them to change his records. If you love your pet and want the best care DO NOT USE NASA PET HOSPITAL. It is more like buying a used car than getting treatment for your family member. They do not care about the animals they see, just annihilating your bank account.

Nasa Pet Hospital has been there for me and my dog Tyson since the beginning. When I first got Tyson at the tender age of 8 weeks, I was definitely feeling overwhelmed as a NPH provided me with lots of support. Often times I would call thinking they would tell me to bring him, but more often than not they would tell me what to do over the phone and he would be fine the next day.

I also love that I don't need to make an appointment for Tyson to get his yearly vaccinations. These things are really important to me especially since I am a busy professional, with limited time. Everyone I have encountered at the practice has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional, especially his vet Dr. Sullivan. Tyson and I really appreciate all the extra treats, love, and extra support. FullSizeRender.jpg

Dr. Simpson and the staff were amazing! I took my cat Lilo in there today to have some blood work. I was a nervous mess! She is my 11 yrs old baby. I was SHOCKED how well she did with all the tests, I was expecting a big fight but the staff was so good with her! Everyone there was so patient with her and all my questions. I also loved how Dr. Simpson came up with a treatment plan to let me know what she recommends but did not try to push anything on me or make me feel terrible if i decided not to do a certain treatment. Now this is not a place where you can go have a ton of tests done and get medication and walk out paying only $50 but It was still affordable.

Dr McCoy has again and again shown himself to be a skilled veterinarian and caring pet enthusiast. He is always available and lends a hand when needed. He has great attention all to detail in his work and great bedside manner when needed. Truly an asset to his profession as well as other pet professionals Keep up the great work
