Services
Nashville Dog Training Club is an affiliate of the American Kennel Club (AKC). It welcomes dogs of all breeds as well as mixed breeds. All board members, instructors, and support personnel are volunteers whose goal is to help you train your dog to be a rewarding member of your family.
The view below will show the day-by-day schedule for the current class offerings. These offerings and times will change per class session. Use the register button to secure your spot in a class during registration times. Registration typically opens 1-2 weeks before the session, and will be accompanied by an email blast letting all know when it opens.
Classes are a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and form a great relationship with your dog while transforming them into a rewarding member of your family. We offer classes for all experience levels whether this is your first dog or you're a top-tier competitor. There are courses for dogs of all breeds, backgrounds, and ages.
We host many events at our training facility including trials, matches, and seminars. We are the only Nashville area club that trials, certifies, and titles dogs with the American Kennel Club. Furthermore, when our training rings are not in use for classes, members can reserve the use of a ring for individual training.

I have sent email after email trying to contact someone to register for classes and also drove over an hour to see someone on site to register for classes. The site says open and no one was there. I missed Jan and March registration sign up due to no communication and help. I also noticed that even after trying to connect again to register for May and having difficulty and reaching out via email no one has sent one email in correspondence this whole time. At this time it's just rude and sad because I am trying to build a bond with my dog and I am hitting a brick wall with this group.

Critical: Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness The customer service is laughable and embarrassing. I just wanted to know more about upcoming sessions and I was ready to sign my puppy up. Unfortunately, I have completely lost interest because of this horrible customer service.

The registration process is literally impossible. We have tried three times at 6:00pm exactly to register our dog and it always says the classes are full by 6:01pm. It's ridiculous that the literal dog training club has such limited, inaccessible classes. Once you click register, it should hold your spot for like five minutes while you enter your payment information. like when you buy a ticket to something. However, it does not.

So we type our information as quickly as possible (most of it automatically put it) and we STILL were unable to register. I'm so frustrated and disappointed in this process. I'm sure they train all two registered, eligible dogs really well. alas we will never freakin know.

After comparing several other Nashville dog training services online, I decided to give Nashville Dog Training Club a try as they seemed to be the most affordable with a good offering of classes. I was interested in the Puppy Kindergarten class but the "Register" button on the website did not seem to work for any of the classes. I tried calling on several occasions to get more information but no one responded to any of my calls which seems to be a common complaint based on the reviews.

Since I couldn't register online and couldn't get a hold of anyone on the phone, I felt like my only option was to try bringing my dog to the facility directly. After driving 30 minutes in rush hour traffic to the location, there was no one at the front door to give us any information so we walked further into the building to talk to one of the instructors while her class was on break.

When we started to ask about classes and registering she immediately cut us off with an extremely rude and unprofessional tone and said all registration was closed and wouldn't reopen for several weeks. It sure would've been nice to learn that over the phone before making the drive. She then went on to smugly tell us that dogs were not even supposed to enter the building unless NDTC had their shot records on file ahead of time.

If that requirement was so important then why wasn't anyone working at the front door to enforce the rule? This woman was so rude and unprofessional, I'm actually grateful we didn't get to register for the class because it meant we only had to endure her sour attitude for 10 minutes instead of a whole hour for several weeks. You're better off investing your money in a better dog training experience at a place that is professional and respectful to both their dog and human clients.

This has been such a welcoming, supportive community for my daughter, who is a junior handler training our sheltie in agility.
