North Hills Animal Clinic

This is my 2nd experience with Dr. Campbell and the first one ended in a unnecessary surgery and death of my baby within minutes of picking her up to take home. My current baby was misdiagnosed and when we contacted them to get her back in because she was getting worse they had no time to see there own patient. I took her to the ER and to Briarwood and thankfully Dr. Penny showed our labs vs the labs from Dr. Campbell and she was significantly sicker.

She was diagnosed with diabetes and given insulin on the first visit and meds to help with the pain she was experiencing in her back end. Dr. Campbell plainly stated to myself and my husband that she was not diabetic. The meds he gave her only made her worse.

All my fur babies have been patients with North Hills Animal Clinic for 12 years and recently it has just declined. The front staff is not pleasant, the office has changed their office hours making it harder to get your fur baby in when you have to work, they now just recommend taking your fur baby to the animal ER. We all know that's a $500 plus visit when something comes up unexpectedly, people just don't have that laying around.

I am almost certain the two facilities are owned by the same group. It's very sad when you think of them as family, but all in all it has come down to greed and not caring for the animal.

My poor puppy was so sick, and his regular vet was booked several days out. North Hills squeezed him in that very morning, and by the afternoon, they had diagnosed him and provided me the meds to make him better. They were kind and generous and my dog is totally healed because of their excellent work.

Found a small dog in my neighbor took it by North Hills animal hospital to get her checked for a microchip. Staff and even the other customers were so nice and helpful. Thankfully the owner was found

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Campbell. Have been going here over 2 years. As of recently the front office staff has not been pleasant. Placed on Hold for extended times, cannot get the dogs into the Vet for 6+ weeks. So we are moving vet offices. The Doctor is Very important but when dealing with the front office staff its not worth the trouble. Miss the old staff.

Dr. Campbell and his staff treated my service pup Chester boy several times with respect and being a first time mom explained to me to where I could understand what he was doing. We moved to Arkansas a little over a year ago and have been trying to find a vet ever since. We had been with our previous vet for over 10 years, and they were like family. So it's been a struggle to find that same quality of service, especially since my baby is a cat. Most vets like dogs but few are good with cats. Dr. Campbell and his staff are exactly what we have been looking for: knowledgeable, experienced, kind and caring.

It is a huge comfort to me to know my cat has a wonderful vet where she will be well taken care of. I highly recommend North Hills Animal Hospital and so does my cat (and that's high praise).

We visited there with our dog Joey whom we had to have put to sleep. They were very kind and helpful and even sent us a sympathy card with Joey's nose and footprints! Such a sweet gift!

I absolutely loved Sam, Jordan, Catie, Stephanie, and Aleah! They made the check in process and tech appointment a great experience. My pet was in and out in minutes and he was so happy the whole time. This place is my forever vet! Dr. Campbell and his staff are always pleasant and they truly care for every patient.

I could not recommend this vet clinic more. My dog and I both have some anxiety about going to the vet after we've had some bad experiences and the staff at North Hills made us both very comfortable. The vet and vet tech took the time to explain to me everything they were planning on doing and they were very calm and patient with my dog. They got down on the floor with her and were constantly giving her affection and praise during the exam and I couldn't be more appreciative of the time and effort they put into our appointment.

I took my dog to the vet for concerns about a leg sprain and an ear infection and in less than 25 minutes they had seen her, examined her, and got me the medications she needed. The cost of the clinic was very fair for this area and I'll definitely be using them as my primary vet from now on.

Serious over-reach on the required information for YOUR DOG to see the vet.' Ripe for ID theft. Which by the way isn't the vet.they are a "technician" at office visit prices. Office manager the person who runs the place would not see my dog without them making a copy of my ID. Which isn't covered by any legal protections such as HIPPA. Would not explain why they wanted my ID. Very weird. I'll vote with my money and go elsewhere.

PHENOMENAL & PROFESSIONAL. My fur baby wasn't acting normal and hadn't eaten nor was he drinking any water from bowl after a 24hr time-frame. Our regular vet wasn't available and short staffed, so I called north hills and they scheduled an appointment for my baby the same day later in the afternoon. We received full detailed information about his. illness and the action plans needed to get him back to a 100% energetic doggie. Dr. Campbell ans his staff are THE BEST, we will now be utilizing NHAH as our primary vet. Thanks so much for everything

Dr Campbell is the best. I love how he doesn't try to get big dogs on a table. He gets down to the dogs level which helps keep them comfortable.

In & out in record time to get booster, nails trimmed, & meds. They take such good care of my little man. He came back to the car playful & happy.

Dr Campbell was very courteous and knowledgeable. Tech. Erica was sweet and gentle with my baby. Support staff was very friendly! I'm definitely going to keep this veterinary clinic for my lil guy!

So far, I've only dealt with Dr. Campbell. From my experience, you would be hard pressed to find a more thorough doctor. He takes the time to explain everything in detail. The staff was professional and the facility was very clean. I've been to ALOT of veterinarians and by far, he's the best!

Wonderful vet! Dr. Mounts is fantastic! She saved my cats life (he had a blockage) had to do surgery & stay for 3 days. All the staff were great very kind and communicated with me every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Our family has been taking our pets here for 15 yrs. now, 11 total. Never a problem. Doctors and staff are really nice and professional. I highly recommend NHAH.

I recently moved to the Sherwood area with my cat, Johnny, who has had several health issues last year. Our previous vet in Indiana was fantastic, and so when we moved to Arkansas, I decided to stay with the same vet service but quickly realized that the level of care I received was not the same. After looking for a vet, I came across North Hills Animal Hospital and decided to give them a try.

The moment I arrived, I knew that I had found the right vet. The intake process was quick and informative, even though I had to stay in my vehicle due to COVID procedures. However, when it was time to take my cat inside, I was allowed in the room with Johnny, which was a relief, as it's been so hard to explain Johnny's illness and symptoms without speaking to someone face to face. Dr. Campbell was such a wonderful, kind man.

He was so sweet to Johnny, explained everything perfectly to me, and was completely honest. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me on unnecessary procedures or treatment plans that wouldn't help my cat. I highly suggest that anyone in Sherwood or the Little Rock area look into North Hills Animal Hospital, as I feel like they genuinely care about the welfare of your pets.

Great vet. He really took the time to talk to me. Vets I've seen in the past always seem rushed and put off by my questions. Was impressed. I've found Loki's new Vet.

Great vet for pets! im a pretty crazy animal guardian and only wants the very best for my babies. north hills has really great staff and doctors who seem to genuinely love all pets. i gave it 4 stars because their sign out front says "exotics", but they don't see rabbits (which are usually considered exotic). anyways thanks for being kind and caring!

Despite the fact that I asked when I made the appointment and also calling earlier today to ensure it was okay for my roommate to take my cat up there while I was at work, they would not see him. Now he has to go through being in pain for another week while I try to secure an appointment elsewhere.

So, my puppy ate children's ibuprofen early this morning. At the time, my veterinarian office was not opened but I knew it was urgent for her to be seen as NSAIDS are toxic to animals. I called North Hills Animal Hospital on JFK and they REFUSED to see a sick animal or even give me ANY advise on what to do for her because I am not a patient of. theirs.

I was totally shocked and angered! Who does that and calls themselves a veterinarian? I told the girl that I was actually looking at changing vets and knew for certain that it wouldn't be North Hills EVER!

Dr. Campbell & his staff will take excellent care of all your pet's needs as well as yours.

Probably not the least expensive place you can take your pets, but like everything else in life, you get what you pay for and I've got three very healthy and happy pets. they have helped me multiple times when one of my animals has needed urgent care and provide great yearly checkups for my kitties. 5 paws up would recommend.

Very impressed! The vet didn't want to do anything that wasn't completely necessary due to my dogs ages and the risk of anesthesia complications. The price was very reasonable. They did a great job in quick fashion!
