North Knox Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.

I took my boyfriend's dog in for a follow up to get a drain removed. They have me pull up to the sidewalk, come to the car to get him, then tell me they will call me when he's done. I go down the rd to fill my car up while I wait. I see I have a missed call and Dr. Spearman has left me harshly toned message saying they brought Winston back out and I was gone "so we need you to come back and get him please!". 1) I was told they would call me when he was done not that he'd be back out in 5 mins. 2) I was gone for a total of 10 mins. 3) there is absolutely no reason for the doctor to be rude.
This is my first experience with this vet and it will certainly be my last. I just moved from West Knox to Halls. I'll continue to take my cat to Northshore Animal Hospital where I know my cat is taken care of by professional and caring staff. I have them 2 stars instead of 1 because the stitches are adequate.

I have a new puppy and was in search of a DVM. I had called around to different parts of town asking about pricing and services. I was driving thru my own neighborhood and saw the sign of a vet office and decided to pull in. Due to covid I could not go in but that made no difference in the warm welcome I got from Britney. She came to the front entrance and spent time with me explaining in detail affordable prices and services and products available. Britney was warm, professional and very informative of each of my questions and concerns. I am a new client for sure. I am looking forward to a long healthy life for my new family member with Dr Spearman and her capable staff. Thank you Britney.

We wanted to support a local business. Our initial visit we were impressed. Unfortunately, the staff and Doctors do not communicate? We were quoted pricing on services but after the visit it was much higher. Services were performed without our consent/consult. There were multiple issues with pricing. We used them for boarding and was quoted a fair price.
We arrived back from vacation with a tab almost triple the quoted amount. (They made things right and charged us for the quoted amount, and apologized) The dogs were covered in urine and feces when we picked up, no explanation or apologies were given. With all of these issues we decided to go elsewhere for our vet care needs.

North Knox Veterinary Clinic is amazing, the staff is so wonderful and caring. We're new to the area and had not yet found a vet when our cat got sick and ultimately had to be put down. The entire staff was so kind, compassionate, and supportive throughout the process. Several days later we got a sympathy card in the mail with a lovely personalized card and note signed by the staff. We absolutely could not have been more impressed and truly felt like family. Sincerely, thank you for your kindness in such a tough time.
