We have a pup that isnt great at grooming. Parkville Animal Wellness has a groomer and they were able to safely sedate her and get her a great groom! So so happy with them!

My dog stayed at this facility this past weekend. The facility is clean and my dog left smelling clean. Everyone seems really nice and we will definitely use them again.

Our dog Mika had been limping for months and first they said that she could be faking it, and then they moved on to saying it could be arthritis, and when we finally had X-Rays done they said it looked like a partially torn ligament. It was only when we took her to Northland Animal Hospital that they finally found that she had torn ACLs in both of her hind legs.

After months of watching her condition worsen and spending hundreds of dollars for an improper diagnosis, we now have to schedule surgery for her that will be over $7,000. Avoid this vet if you care about your pets.

Unfortunately this isn't a business I'd recommend to busy folks. Doctors are great but they shouldn't offering boarding or daycare. They don't have a true daycare space so it's just something nice to say they have. The front office staff will make sure you are aware that you've been late picking up your pup even if it's due to no fault of your own.

They close at 6pm and want to walk out the door at 6pm. They are irritated if they have to stay an extra 5-10 minutes for high paying customers with high utilization. They also don't treat customers that board frequently with much leniency. I can understand folks that randomly bring their pup and show up late to get them every time but when you utilize the service (often times 4 to 5 days a week) you'd think they wouldn't bring it up. Again, doctors are great but I don't recommend utilizing them for daycare or boarding, especially if you are a busy exec/professional and occasionally run behind. Not 30 minutes behind, just 5-10 minutes max will really get them in a tizzy.

We have gone to Dr. Welsh for over 15 years. He has taken care of 5 dogs and a cat during that period of time and he and his staff have been fantastic, caring and have bent over backwards for us. We highly recommend Parkville Animal Wellness.

Brody loves Dr. Welch and I credited him for saving Brodys life. We purchased Brody from who we now feel was a questionable breeder. It took some time but with Dr. Welch's knowlege and the care of his team we have a beautiful, happy and sometimes mischievous boxer. I highly recommend Dr. Welch and his team to care for your animals.

I bring my dogs and cat to Dr Welsh, he's great (staff is excellent too). He is up-to-date on nutrition (raw diets but haven't talked to him about vegan/vegetarian for the dogs) and other medical issues. He enjoys animals and answers questions. Also, he can get pets in quickly in case of emergency.

Terribly disappointed. This is my first time here and I took my dog in for a cracked nail. The Dr. was over 20min late past our appointment time, you would think that first appointments would be perfect to get people to return. The Dr. put my dog under anesthesia in order to clip his nail, the total was $210 which I found to be middle of the road price-wise, considering he had to be put under for a short period of time.

Upon picking my dog up I asked questions about recovery, antibiotics, what to look for, etc. The only thing I got out of the Dr. was that I needed to take the bandage/wrapping off Monday (surgery was Friday) and he did not need anything else. I did not get any information about what to look for if something is wrong, nor antibiotics (and I did ask).

Now my dogs nail is infected and its clearly hurting him, he's going to a different vet. BOTTOM LINE: This Dr. doesn't seem to want to make time to answer questions, be on time, or take actions like antibiotics to prevent pain for your pet.

We have only used their services to humanely euthanize some of our precious pocket pets (dumbo rats) that were ready to pass on to the rainbow bridge. We were able to stay with our babies until the very end and the staff worked to get us scheduled in so they didn't have to endure extra suffering.

Parkville Animal Wellness (PAW) is a wonderful place. We have been going to PAW for 10 years and they are wonderful with our pets (dogs and bird). I would not take our pets anywhere else and I highly recommend them.

Took my dachshund in for spaying today. they got her in on short notice and took their time with her. however upon leaving the lady kept calling my best friend an "it" I was 2sec from reaching over the counter. you don't do that. I categorize vets the same as I would a doctor or nurse. are you going to repeatedly call a mother's newborn an "it" if you don't know her gender or name just ask or look on the paperwork!
