Services
Dr. Adams grew up in a suburb of Washington DC, across the street from an Animal Hospital. He graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Before relocating to New Port Richey in 2005, Dr. Adams practiced for several years in a bustling animal hospital in Silver Spring Maryland.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
We are proud to provide New Port Richey, Florida and surrounding communities with state-of-the-art veterinary surgical procedures. We believe in utilizing the highest level of medical technology, and our surgeons are experienced and highly trained. We also realize that it can be stressful to have your pet undergo surgery.
Procedures done on dogs and cats are challenging for a variety of reasons, one being that they often don't want to be still while doctors and staff are trying to help the animal. They also have a level of stress that comes from being in a an unfamiliar environment. Because of this, the use of anesthesia is a beneficial way to give pets the care they need.

I can't believe I gave this vet clinic even 1star. If you want to go bankrupt go there. I will never go there again because I couldn't buy a car for what they were going to charge me just to figure out what is wrong with my dog. He was a little under the weather and they wanted 1k just to find out what was wrong. Then was more to give meds to him U HAVE TO BE INSANE TO GO THERE

Pasco Animal Hospital is not my regular vets but when I was visiting for several mos & needed a vet I found them on line & chose them because of the good reviews. I have been 3 times. Dr Adams & his staff are very efficient & professional. They made me very welcome & put me at ease. During an in depth exam Dr Adams found an area under Buffy's he felt needed addressed so had it biopsied when I got home (it was benign thankfully).

Their waiting area is so clean & neat & coffee & drinks are available to us. Very nice touch. The gentleman at the front desk who answers the phone has great customer service!

Needed an emergency appointment for sudden lameness in my dog Odins leg. They got us in very quick, diagnosed the problem quickly, and explained everything along the way. Our dog needs surgery and will go in next week. This is the first vet my dog has felt comfortable with. They go the extra mile to make patients and parents feel like family. They also accept scrathpay which is a great option for emergency funds quickly if you find your self low on funds during an emergency. We have found our new permanent vet.

My dog hates the vet and groomers and even a car ride but he tolerates these guys so he must like them! They are always helpful and awesome! If Bob my dog doesn't freak out it means they are all good in his hood!

Took my dog here because he had a moderate sized bump on his face and we were very worried about it. They told us it was cancer growing down his throat and he would need thousands of dollars in surgeries otherwise it would grow quickly and close his throat, my wife and I were devastated. Fast forward just 4 weeks, bump is gone no signs at all, dog is back to normal.

Which all tracks with the $400 worth of blood work they ( supposedly ) did. We used to go here often, but stopped because they have told us in the past that our dogs would need various surgeries, that they obviously did not need. Pasco Animal Hospital is either not honest or just not good at their job, either way I would not recommend them to anyone.

I brought in a stray cat that I have been taking care of. He was sick. I was able to get an appointment immediately. The care that was given to this cat was wonderful. The doctor and staff were so attentive and caring. Mikey is now feeling so much better that he is now playful. Thank you for your help and I would highly recommend you to others.
