Paws In Paradise

I will never board my dog here again. I couldn't use my regular boarding place because I moved so I decided to try Paws in Paradise based on the reviews. Everything seemed fine. They wouldn't let me inside the building or walk my dog back to the room, which I found very strange as my other boarding places do. So it seemed as if they maybe had something to hide, but I let it go.

A week later I picked up my dog and HE SMELLED HORRIBLE! Omg he smelled like a dirty kennel! Based on how he smelled I don't think they keep the place clean and I question how well they take care of the animals. My dog did not seem okay - he was nervous and panting and wasn't acting normal. He's been boarded before and never acted like this when I picked him up.

I would stay away. I will never come back. I go to Petsmart now and they are amazing. My dog doesn't come back smelling bad and he acts normal and happy when I pick him up from Petsmart.

Changing my review from 3 to 5 stars! I have been bringing my pup here for a few months now and I was hesitant at first because I spoil my lab, but she has come to love it so much! With anything, things take time. My lab has built a bond the employees there and BEGS me every morning to go to daycare now. She scratches the front door of Paws in Paradise if they don't come get her fast enough! They have added cameras as well and renovated parts of their facility. I've also found they have the most reasonable prices around - definitely recommend!

Left our little fur man here for a week! Wonderful service.boarding and grooming are great! The staff is friendly and superb! Would recommend! We now have a place for our furbabies. : Thank you!

Over all good place to board, with good prices. Though my dog does not seem to like their groomer much (he is super nervous so could just be him but he likes grooming other places). I do wish they had a just bath option but they also include nails, trimming, etc on their lowest package offered with their services (would be useful since allergies and we make sure to bathe on pickup or immediately after)

My 11 year old Ridgeback always comes back happy and healthy. Fair prices and service that's easy to work with. Not much else to say! Recommended!

I never been to this place but im walking my dog almost every day near this place what i can say is the personel is friendly and welcoming never got any problems and what most important is I've seen dogs being dropped off and i never seen scared dog lol which tell all about this place good job guys

Had to board my Miniature Bull Terrier in a emergency, the staff was amazing, very helpful, caring & went above & beyond. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you again from Nick & Lola

First visit was a success! As a first time pup family with a rescue dog with separation and crate anxiety, I called around before deciding to try Paws in Paradise. The staff and owner were so kind and willing to working with me to make Melanie comfortable. The webcam is an added bonus.

Paws in Paradise provides amazing care to our dog when we travel. We come in front out of state and fly out of IL to leave him in their care. You can watch the dogs from a mobile app on your phone and it is the only place I feel at ease that he is being treated as if he were home!

This place is great! We have been using the boarding for 2 years. He has never came home with any scratches, or injuries of any kind. He is happy, hydrated, feed and never has a full bladder when I pick him up so that's how I know they take care of him well. They have cameras too so you can log into the app and watch your pup.
