We inspect your pets coat to make sure they can actually be groomed to look the way you envision them. Sometimes their fur is too dense or too fine for a standard style. If this is the case we will recommend a style that will make your pet look its best. If your pets coat is in poor condition it may need extensive de-matting or clipping much shorter than you had envisioned.

This initial interaction with your pet gives us a general idea of their temperament. We can then adjust the grooming procedure accordingly to make the grooming experience as safe and pleasant as possible for both the stylist and the pet.
Services
At Pawsh Styling we have years of experience and are skilled in grooming to the breed profile. We also understand that grooming is a matter of taste and we respect the specific requests of the pet owner, taking the time to discuss your preferences and your loved one's grooming history. Our starting prices are based upon breed, but many factors can affect the final cost.
If your pet has matted hair, please download, print and sign, and bring with you to the spa. Proof of current vaccinations for Distemper combination and Rabies is required. Please bring a copy of your dog's vaccination certificate if you are a new client or if an update to your file is needed. Alternatively, we can contact your vet for vaccination confirmation.
Regular and proper grooming can be the difference between a good coat and an excellent coat. Pawsh Styling would be more than happy to help you achieve this, especially through the shedding process. Even if your dog is not in need of a complete grooming, a thorough bath and brush out can help speed the process along.
Shedding is seasonal, usually occurring every spring and fall and related primarily to changes in the duration and intensity of sunlight. House dogs are exposed to long hours of artificial light and it sometimes seems as if they never quit shedding. Most dogs shed at least once a year (though some breeds shed more frequently) and do not shed their coats evenly.

I love Emily and she does a fantastic job with my teacup yorkie.
