Call
If there is a chance of back or neck injury, carefully place the pet on a stable flat surface, such as a wooden board, and minimize movement during transportation. In case of possible poisoning, seek immediate treatment and bring any product packaging with you to the veterinarian. Do not try to induce vomiting without medical advice. If your pet exhibits any abnormal activity or behaviour call the Pet Emergency Center immediately. The following symptoms are definitely emergencies and require immediate medical attention.

Quick summary- Everyone here was wonderful! The front desk explained the wait time--- it's based on triage, and I'm happy that I wasn't someone whose dog was hurt/sick enough to be rushed in. I still only waited max. 30 minutes. The doctor himself called me with every update and the next steps, plan for admission and discharge instructions. That's with all the other emergent patients that they were receiving and caring for. Thank you to everyone there for taking wonderful care of my dog, and getting me through the process.

They are so great! They got me in early in the morning. I also had to come late in the evening for a second visit and they had 2 critical cases before me. I was sitting in the parking lot for hours, but they called me every hour to let me know they did not forget about me and would help me as soon as possible. They sent me home with detailed instructions afterwards.

Every time I called in they were friendly and answered my questions knowledgeably. Definitely trust the care here and will be back if anything dire happens to my fur babies in the future.

It is totally unacceptable for pet emergency hospital to tell the pet owner that it will be at least a 3 hour wait, maybe longer by the time you get there before your pet can be seen, when your pet is extremely ill. This is not an isolated incident. From what I hear from other people is that this has been happening for a very long time. Whatever the problem is, it needs to be rectified. This is no way to run a hospital. Not to mention that there's no compassion for animals or their owners. These are our family members.

This is an amazing group of people. From the receptionist on up they all were so compassionate. I never bringing my cat Indy, that I might have long wait (on the phone they told me it could be up to 8 hours) so I was prepared. The receptionist listened carefully to my what I said was going on with my baby, and let me know about options available. When the tech came to take him back she was very nice, told me what they would be doing and they would update me as soon as they knew something.

Unfortunately Indy was much sicker than he was presenting to me and the tech came back out to let me know what the options were again. Thank you very much for your compassion, understanding and professionalism. It was and is greatly appreciate.

I have read the reviews and reluctantly had no other choice but to go. I'm so glad I DID! my pup was in the battle of his life with Parvo. I called ahead and they where expecting me when I arrived. Wait time was quoted 5 hours only took 1.5. It was very busy and they see patients based of severity. Katie was very personal and compassionate. She gave me belief that nice kind people still exist in this world.

I will be back and recommend PEC solely because of her kind heart. Price was not that much more then a standard vet even on a holiday. Even one else I interacted with was kind and friendly.

Our female Doberman became very sick, stopped eating and was vomiting a brown liquid. She was miserable and we knew that this was something that was not going to pass. Unfortunately, we were unable to help her due to financial constraints, but the staff at Pet Emergency Center was very caring and respectful. They provided us options and showed no judgment when we opted for euthanasia.

Their prices are very reasonable and while I had a wonderful experience, I hope to not have to see them again for our other pup. I highly recommend this Emergency Center. Thank you for your care!

The Doctor we saw and the rest of their team were awesome! Everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful. If you are ever in need of emergency vet services, I would highly recommend this facility. They took great care of our dog Goose!

I brought my cat in to this clinic when she stopped eating. She is only used to her family and stresses out around other people and animals, she's not shy about announcing her distress with overdramatic hissing and uncalled for swipes. But the staff recognized this and did everything they could to make her more comfortable. Because she was not critical I had to wait eight hours to get checked in, when they finally spoke to me they apologized but it was unnecessary.

Because for those eight hours I had watched an endless stream of emergency patients filter into the clinic. Even as it grew dark, as one car would pull away two more would arrive. These ladies were saints and godesses, not once were they anything less than compassionate and reassuring. And to have that kind of love and patience in such an extremely chaotic and traumatic environment speaks not only of the love they have for these animals but of the strength of their character.

After almost 24 hours of supportive care and a few diagnostic tests to rule out immediate concerns I made the decision to remove my cat from the high stress of an emergency clinic and schedule an appointment with my local, regular vet and again they surprised me by being supportive and respectful of my decision. I'm grateful to report that this morning Sadie started eating and even had a small bowl movement!

I could not be more relieved and thankful for these people. The pandemic has changed all of our lives in ways that are often difficult to cope with but if we can manage for eachother even a fraction of the patience and compassion these girls have we will find our way through it.

I am so pleased with my experience here. The clinicians were very polite and considerate, as well as helpful for my sweet kitty. I'm eternally indebted to them, and cannot express the depth of gratitude I have for the level of care and compassion they provide. This is my kitty, Mama, returned safe and sound
