Pet Motel and Salon's doggy daycare offering is different from the standard of most doggy daycare facilities. Our concept is exclusively an individualized-care option. While many dogs are social and appreciate group settings with other dogs for intense periods of time, we cater exclusively to dogs requiring individualized care.
This is a video giving dog owners a unique visual perspective of the complete grooming process employed at the Pet Motel and Salon. Our grooming focuses on the pet's grooming needs. We don't glamorize pets to the extent that we would primarily be appealing to their human owners only. At the Pet Motel and Salon, we are absolutely talented and can perform a variety of haircut options suitable for your dog. But we don't offer a lot of ala-carte extra add-ons that amount to very little value to you and especially to your pet.
Dogs left with longer haircuts allow the breed to maintain a look that sticks more closely with its natural appearance but with greater refinement and neatening of the coat. Most would consider a dog's natural coat length as its most beautiful look and longer haircut types focus most on that visually pleasing perspective.
Prepping is the first step of the process where preliminary brushing and pre-clipping occurs to prepare a dog for a thorough bath. Dogs that are brought to us for haircuts are first given a rough-cut which is designed to set patterns and set initial hair length. Dogs scheduled for just baths are brushed out well in this stage to remove undercoat (dead hair), mats, and tangles that interfere with the bathing process. By doing a preliminary cut or brushing, we only wash dog hair that is intended to be left on the dog.

We boarded our cats here and I was very pleased with the service. The cat boarding area was spotless. How you keep a cat area that clean, I'm not sure. The cat "condo" was very spacious for our 2 cats. I felt the price was fair also. I liked that we could pick up before noon on Monday without paying for another day. Cats were clean and not distressed upon pick up, so I trust they were cared for. We will be back for cat motel services!

Deposit is not refundable at all for this place. I was test positive for Covid-19 before travel and wanted to cancel my appointment. I was able to cancel all my flight tickets and hotels, but this one is fully non-refundable. Had no chance to experience the service yet. Please be careful before choosing this place, because accidents do happens.

I dropped my dog off on Saturday and the owner was the one checking me out. He didn't mention you get charged DOUBLE for picking up on a Sunday. Yeah you get doubled charged for picking up on one of the most common days for boarding pets. And before anyone says it's clearly posted. it's posted but not clear whatsoever with their taped up sign looking like a ghetto McDonald's menu. I will never come back to this business

Horrible. I will never go back. I used the grooming services. They did a horrible job on my Shih Tuz and then complained that she was aggressive. My dog has been groomed in the past and the groomer I used never spoke to me concerning this issue. I should have walked out the door upon my arrival. As my gut told me this isn't the place to have my dog groomed.

Nov 21 my dog was given a short clipper cut since I had been grooming her myself since covid 19 started and she was needing a professional cut. This is the only place I had ever taken any of my dogs to be groomed. On this day do not know what happened but seemed to have been clipped too close and on Nov 23 I noticed wound under her neck when removed the bandana they had put around her neck.
I immediately called the Pet Motel to see if anything was different that they had used on her. They assured me no. So on Nov 24 took her to vet as the wound looked as though was getting infected. The vet cleaned and gave her injection of antibiotics and medicine to take home. I contacted the owner and was given an explanation which I was not satisfied with.
The cost totaling 230.00 for grooming and vet bill was the most expensive haircut my dog had ever received, not to mention the pain and time spent getting her better. She is going to fully recover from this but should never have happened. These are the final words the owner said and I quote "I appreciate your business and hope you can accept my explanation.
I wish (name of dog) the best in recovery ". Needless to say I will not be bringing her back to this place again. My advice to anyone bringing dog to the groomers is to check them over real close before you leave to make sure there are no nicks or burns or anything suspicious and to take the bandana off as soon as you get home.

New client here! Brought our standard poodle and cocker spaniel in today for grooming. WOW! LET ME TELL YOU. my kids have never smelled better! Whatever they are using is a miracle. also the cuts are perfect. They did exactly as I asked and I am miss picky! Thank you so much and we will see you 6 weeks.

My dogs have never been here before for boarding and they were anxious and scared to go in the building. The staff basically dragged them into the door with training leashes right around their neck. There wasn't any attempt to try and calm them or make them comfortable. The dog play area is super small and rocks. I was told grooming would be 120 and was charged more without being called to tell me that ahead of time.
The person at drop off was not friendly and seemed stressed because I was standing outside the door and didn't call which I did and got fax line plus they threw away my vet paperwork.

I have been using the Pet Motel and Salon since 2002! The quality of the grooms and the cleanliness of the facility are top notch! We recently brought our new puppy Diesel in for Playtime in their new play room! When we picked him up at the end of the day he was happy and exhausted! I will never use another place so long as they are around! We love you guys! STAY AWESOME!
