Pet boarding at the Pet Salon is easy and convenient. The Pet Salon is surrounded by nearly 5 wooded acres in a quiet residential area of Millersville, MD, in Anne Arundel County. Our facility also includes a 1/2 acre fenced meadow for walks. For your pet's safety and security, the dog kennel itself is double fenced.

Prices vary depending on the breed, condition of your pet's fur and other variables. For every pet grooming client, we use only forced air dryers, never heated dryers that could cause harm to your pet.
Your dog will stay in our kennel during the day, and there is plenty of excitement just being there. Then, one of the owners will take your dog to our meadow for a one-on-one with a person for personal play time. We will customize this to your dog's eneds. We can walk, play ball, Frisbee, or for the less active or smaller dogs, we will bring them to our office to play or just sit on our laps. We can even help with obedience during our 20 minutes of one-on-one. Talk about feeling special! We also offer Professional Pet Shipping.

We have such a hard time getting people to watch our dog. He is a german shepherd with anxiety who takes medication for it. We have been turned away from other pet boarding facilities due to agresssion. I find it difficult to believe that there are not other high anxiety dogs being boarded, but we usually used a trainer, but it wasn't available to us this trip.
They recommended The Pet Salon and we were not dissapointed. They were kind with our Louie and even though the gentleman was not liked by our dog, he got the care he needed, his medication (at no extra cost) and his own kennel and run. We could not be more pleased with the price and kindness of this family owned business. We highly recommend it for boarding, especially a dog with high anxiety/drive. Did I mention they are flexible with pick up to some degree! Just ask!
