We are happy to work with any special needs that your dog may need- i.e. A special shampoo that your vet recommends. Please bring it with you at your time of your appointment. At the time of your appointment we can go over the haircuts and what you'd like to see.

My name is Addy and I have been working in the animal field for over 20 years. I'm very excited to have the opportunity of becoming the new owner & groomer for Dog Grooming in Rohnert Park here at Pet Talk.

When I picked up my dog she was crying in her cage. She had never done that before. I paid and took my dog to the car. I took her home and then ran an errand. After the errand I saw blood smudges on my car seat where she sits. I called Pet Talk and left a message asking what had happened. I called four times and left messages and they NEVER called me back.

Come on, if your dog was bleeding when you bring them home from the groomer, wouldn't you want to know what happened? Very unprofessional AND unethical behavior. I have been very upset wondering how/if my dog was mistreated.

May be a great place for dogs but cats beware! I took my cat there a few times & they asked me to tranquilize her. I was skeptical of this as I'd never heard of that policy before but I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they're supposed to be the professionals. I was appalled when I picked her up, they had shaved off all her nipples & she was bleeding! Needless to say I've never taken her back there & advise others of my experience. Tranquilizing animals may keep them from fighting back but it also inhibits them from communicating something's wrong! Blaming the customer is also not very professional.

Yes my cat was matted, which is why I brought her to professionals I thought would be able to take care of her without harm. She was only badly matted once and I was still required to tranquilizer her every time. Shame on you!

We've been taking our 2 Bichon brothers here for quite a few years. We have them cut in puppy cut and Candi has always done a good job with them. I even get tips on properly brushing the boys because of the under layer they have. We now have a 3rd dog, Alf, our MaltiPoo and he is spoiled here as well.

Terribleness. Don't waste your money. Owner is rude. Dog was a mess, bad cut stilled smelled. If she had integrity she would have given me my money back but she did not instead she threatened me with lawyers

After trying several places in Marin with poor results, I decided to take my 3 year old Border Collie, Kadia, to "Pet Talk" to see if her latest unfortunate encounter with a skunk could become only a faint memory. Fortunately for me, Candi was able to do just that. Kadia was returned to me neatly groomed, her coat glistened and she seemed very happy.

Since then I have been making the journey from San Rafael to Rohnert Park to have Kadia groomed. Before we even pull into the driveway Kadia is bouncing around with excitement and she practically drags me into "Pet Talk" to see Candi and be groomed. I know it is definitely worth the trip to have Kadia treated to a day at the doggie spa with Candi, even without being skunked.

Nikki at Pet Talk has honestly been a hero to our family! She is much much more than just a groomer. Her background from working for a vet helped our dog and us tremendously. I first discovered Nikki when I was on the hunt for a new groomer and found her coupon. I was immediately impressed with the time she spent with me on the phone addressing my concerns and needs for my older dog.

It had been recommended by the last groomer that he be sedated. Nikki addressed all of my concerns with that approach and wanted to meet and work on him first before looking at the idea of sedating him. She did not find sedation necessary and I was amazed with how great he looked and how happy he was when I picked him up. Her skill is fantastic. I could not have been happier with his haircut.

He smelled wonderful and continued to smell great for a few weeks after. I am not sure what product she uses but it was definitely an upgrade from what we were used to. Nikki really has a way with dogs and I attribute that to her extensive knowledge. I would literally have to drag him in the door to our previous groomer. He was nervous the second time we went to see her and she just simply walked out and began petting and reassuring him.

He walked right in with her as if to say "Oh yea I remember you. You are good!" I was really appreciative of Nikki when I called her for advise after a bad visit with our vet. She was spot on with everything and really made me feel better as well as Buddy. Our sweet Buddy just passed away and I am beyond thankful for Nikki's love, help and support in Buddy's last weeks. She was way more helpful than our vet of 15 years! I could not recommend a better person and groomer for your beloved pet! Thank you Nikki!

They seemed to do a good job at catering to my dogs needs (Shes pretty stiff and old) but her haircut was uneven in several places. It looks like they switched out the length of the clipper half way through because one side of her is shorter then the other. I am not going back.

I took my last dog here for over 10 years and am taking my current dog here. I've tried other places that charged me much more for far inferior results. They do a great job and Candy is AWESOME with animals! If your dog needs special care, she'll provide it. It's a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it!
