Best pet store I've found yet. I will continue to only shop here for as long as I live in Modesto. Customer service is great and the staff is great to work with and they love pets.

Favorite pet store around! I have a cat, two dogs, and a frog. I get crickets here, dog food (pea and lamb) for my dobe, cat dry food, and toughest dog toys for my pitbull. Staff is so friendly. They are not open Sundays but other than that this place is awesome!

Great selection of supplies and amazing staff. The prices are also great. IMO don't go to petco. Stop supporting corporate companies. We need to bring these types of business back. They actually care about their customers

Great customer service, the ladies in there are super helpful and you can tell they truly care about animals. Also, they have some of the highest quality of food that you can find for your pets there. Definitely my go-to spot from now on. Highly recommended!

Each time I entered this locally owned business I was welcome and helped when I asked. Always the best products for the necessary price. My cat food was sold out for weeks at Raley's. Found the only accepted food here. Every time in 5 years I solved my pet issues here. Like this review it's genuine

My sis & I been coming here for years for out dog food and treats. They even have a loyalty program where you buy a number of bags of dog food and get 1 free! The employee here know us by a first name basis and they are always so helpful and friendly. They make sure you are taken care of. Theyre not the type of employees to just ring you up and go, they literally are interest in how your day is going and how your life is.

I love it. They also have a parrot that talks your whole visit. You can't see him unless you look for him but he or she is always along "hello" lol We come here every 3 - 4 weeks.

Great place and really great customer service. I only get my dogs food from here and the pet wash is really great too. The water is warm and they have a blow dryer that you can use after you wash your pet. They do supply everything you need but a towel so bring your own lol. Also it's 1st come 1st serve so I call ahead just to see if it's busy or not before I go

I absolutely love this pet store. I will keep going here, but I am begging the owners, please stop selling rats as pets. I was informed they are all inbred now causing major heath issues. I grew up with rats, out of the 5 I had; NONE of them had a single health issue. They all died around 3-4 from just old age. but watching my two girls suffer a little over a year later is horrible ( my 6th and 7th rat).

One has major breathing issues(and is soo skinny) and the other has a now massive tumor.) Less than a year later I am going to be forced to spend 100$ per rat to put them down. This expensive and heart breaking. Please please stop selling rats!

I have felt so inclined to write this review since I left the store yesterday with my son. We went into the store to purchase dog food and while shopping we were approached by every employee with the most pleasant greeting and eagerness to help us find what we were looking for. To top off our experience on this visit, Rachel provided me the most rewarding experience with engaging my son and I about so many different topics and pet related things.

She was so pleasant and knowledgeable regarding the saltwater fish selection. We drove away with a feeling that you don't normally receive at any retail location. This was an experience that both my son and I were so happy to receive. A huge thank you to the entire staff at Caldron's and we will always make this our first choice for any of our pets needs!

I'm a first time puppy mommy with so many questions. I appreciate that the staff has always been patient with me and has offered many excellent suggestions. They carry a MULTITUDE of dog foods and will accept returns if a particular food doesn't work out. Their selections of treats and healthcare products are high quality products. I'm very satisfied with what this store has to offer.

Absolutely adore this pet store. Small hole in the wall with amazing costumer service. Adopted two rats from here, they are healthy and social when I met them. Update: adopted a kitty from here. I absolutely adore the staff. Rats are still happy healthy and social. Kitty cat Mochi(formerly ash) is so amazing

First timer! Didn't get a chance to walk around but we'll be back! Only place we found that had Zignature. Staff was friendly too

Caldron's is a good place to buy dog food. They have a good selection of high quality dog foods in stock when other places are out. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The only real complaint I have is that Caldron's doesn't price match.

I've been in this store several times. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They love what they do and it shows. They are knowledgeable and helped me pick the best dog food when I first got my dog. They have a wide variety of food and treats. Jack loves going in there and they always give him treat. Jack ended up having a seizure but also had pancreatitis. They helped me find the perfect raw food formula and within a week, Jack was so much better. I will be a loyal customer!

They have all the best foods, treats and toys for my pup. Literally a one stop shop for anything I'd need. Customer service is really good too, very friendly, and helpful. Ask them anything you're not sure about such as nutrition for your specific dog, they're excellent!

On our way home from this place and let me tell you. the service was exceptional. The lady Ellen was so nice and so helpful. We just got Sulcata turtles and we didn't have a lot of info. She went out of her way to give us information and make sure we knew what we needed. She was totally awesome and they def gained another customer. We will be coming here for all our animal/reptile needs. So glad we found this place

I have been using Sparkles Pet Wash, just stumbled upon this pet store and seen they have a pet wash too. I used it this morningit was awesome. Warm water and warm dryer for my puppy. Oh and it was unlimited on both! Only $12. They supply the shampoo and it's the good stuff. The employees were so kind and knowledgeable. Their hours are awesome too! This will be our weekly hangout!

This was the first pet store I visited upon adopting my dog. They are very helpful and organized. I bought the bully sticks and other treats. They also had a bbq event where they had a sale on certain items so I definitely stocked on my baby's food. :- The prices are on the pricier side and I suggest you let your dog try out the flavors/brands before you buy a large bag.

My dog didn't end up liking the salmon flavor and peas from a certain brand so I had to take it back. The good thing is they have samples to give you and make sure you have your receipt and stay within the time frame of the purchase date. Over all, a good family-owned pet supply store.

My husband and I went in to check out this pet store, we had concerns about our dogs and the young girl was so knowledgeable and had so much information for us. Then she gave us so many samples of the dog foods to try which was so cool because our dogs are very picky and they loved all the samples! We are definitely going to be making this our pet store. I love when I go to a store and have a question about a product and the person helping know what they're talking about. My kinda store.
