I was looking for a place to get my dog's teeth cleaned that was not costing more than it cost to get my own teeth cleaned. I was recommended to go to Pittman animal hospital, and actually I had gone there many years ago, but I lived quite a ways from them now. At any rate, they did a spectacular job on my pup's teeth and only charged me $100. My other dog will be getting his teeth cleaned very quickly also.
I will be going back to Pittman's for all of my animal needs virtual tour. Clearly they are more interested in the health and well-being of the animal rather than getting rich quick. I can't say enough good about them

My dog had been going to this vet for 11 years. Walked her in, they had her for 2 days, she caught a respiratory infection from the cages. He tried to say she had infection when she got there but FORGOT she was on antibiotics already for a different issue and did not have an infection. Needless to say she didn't walk out. I had to carry her home where she later died.
As I was walking out with her he casually mentioned, after selling me expensive medications and insulin that she might die. I'm beyond hurt and disappointed and have already looked into ways to Handle this. Honestly this vet isn't what it used to be and I kick myself for ignoring the signs. RIP to my baby

We get in and out fast when it comes down to shots. We are Can bring in 3 dogs at 1 time. There are shots boom boom boom and they're ready to go minimum stress on your animal. Just recently my mail husky was hit by a car and another bed had given that had given prescriptions that was making my dog sick. You went in to see the dock you took one look at him saying it's gonna be staying for A-day or 2 and reasonable rate my dog looked great afterwards.

Maybe they were busy - But when I had to put my cat down he was not struggling and Dr Trost's assistant simply pushed in front of me and gave the shot. I would have liked to be with him for a minute. It just seemed as though she was thinking "get out of the way. Let's get this done." No other problems, but that seemed rude to me. It still bothers me.

I DO NOT recommend Pittman animal hospital to anybody and will never be returning with my pets! I was told numerous times that my German Shepard has allergies and that's why he was itching himself so much. They gave him a shot and some pills, they DID NOT TAKE THE TIME TO FULLY EXAMINE HIM OR EVEN LOOK AT THE AREAS I WAS MOST CONCERNED ABOUT! Each. time we went in we saw the doctor for maybe 5-10 minutes and each time we were told the same thing, but the medication we were being given was not working or even helping my dog at all. I finally got tired of going in and getting told the same thing, so I got a 2nd opinion. Turns out, my dog has a BACTERIAL INFECTION IN HIS SKIN that the Dr had.

Dr. Trost and staff are amazing with animals and their families. We have taken all our animals there and unfortunately had to euthanize two of them in the past five years. From basic shots to critical hospitalizations the staff and Dr. Trost have treated our animals with the upmost care and gentleness, while communicating daily with us and allowing us to see our animals daily when hospitalized. This clinic is amazing!

I've been going to Pittman for over 30 years and have no complaints. They've treated my furbabies with love except for my little man Jazzi. We have to calm him down his anxiety goes through the roof everytime we get in the car. They help me keep updated on shots etc.prices are beyond fair, you can afford this vet! Check it out
