For such an expensive place, they could be more attentive to the dogs. We were very thorough with our info in the online portal. We let them know all about our dog's nervous temperament and her little quirks - like how she won't go to the bathroom on turf or near other dogs, may need a little TLC from the caretakers, etc. She's been there many times, both for boarding and daycare, and always comes back with some injury.
Usually a little scratch or something that heals on its own, so we let it go. Dogs play rough sometimes. This last time, she came home with a scratch under her eye that we had to get checked out by the vet because she was constantly squinting with that eye. The bed we sent her with (she was boarding for the night) was also covered with urine. She is not one to urinate from nervousness and never has accidents, so this told us she was not taken to do her business outside of the play area.
We also told them when dropping her off to make sure they put her harness on correctly, since it is a no-pull harness and only works if it's put on right. In the past, they have always put it on upside down, and it is very uncomfortable for her when it's on wrong. When we picked her up, it was still on wrong, even though they assured us they would do it right.
This is making her very adverse to a harness that we worked hard to train her with. Overall, they are just okay. They claim to be personalized and attentive, but never actually seem to pay attention to the instructions you give. They won't notify you if your dog gets hurt, if they even notice. We've never had any major issues with them, though, so I can't say they're awful. Just very overpriced for the lack of care we've seen.

We took my dog for an evaluation and we were nervous. The owner greeted us and my dog warmed up to him quickly. When we picked him up, the staff was friendly. She was able to give us a thorough evaluation. It was evident they really spent time with him and tried different scenarios. They took pictures to show us. We feel at ease about boarding after our experience. Our dog was happy and exhausted when he left. We are looking forward to boarding this month.

I typically have a good experience here but I've had more than one negative experience at this point. The front desk staff is always friendly and courteous. Previously I've scheduled a grooming appointment that was not performed, when asking why I got dodgy answers about the situation and my dog was returned damp. Boarding her overnight our first time when picking up I noticed her blanket was damp, they assured me it was water. water doesn't smell like that.
Which brings me to tonight when picking up I asked to confirm if they fed her as I requested they feed her dinner when dropping off. They even confirmed if I meant lunch or dinner, unfortunately I was informed that she was not fed. They informed the woman up front who I am assuming is a manager or owner, who said sorry and that they'll hang a sign in the kitchen next time.
No ownership was taken of the issue nor was any attempt to rectify the situation made. Not that it's the end of the world but when I leave my pup here I'm trusting that they'll at minimum feed her when requested and ideally care enough to put systems and processes in place that prevent these sort of situations from occurring. I do genuinely enjoy using their service when all runs smoothly, unfortunately they are lacking consistency. Edit: Increasing to four stars as I haven't had an issue since.

I cannot recommend Playtime Pet Resort enough! Friendly people who are very knowledgeable about dogs, and are very willing to accommodate to all pet needs. Very thorough and take excellent care. Boarded our puppy here for 8 days, which was only meant to be 5 days, but due to a medical emergency, we weren't able to come home within that span. Playtime Pet Resort was totally understanding and not at all inconvenienced by our puppy's extended stay, and not just for the money aspect either.
They showed genuine concern and were happy to help keep our puppy happy and in good care until we could return. They also give you the choice of daily updates, which We opted for twice while away. They make sure you, the owner, and your puppy are comfortable. You have such a range of suites for them to stay in and they help place your pup based upon an evaluation (you drop them off for 4 hours and pick them up at the end and get an adorable report card).
Overall I would rank this place more than 5 stars if I could and we will absolutely be returning to Playtime Pet Resort for future boarding and daycare services. Our puppy LOVED this place and made so many special friends here. Between the fun he had, the prices (for a pretty luxurious place the prices are VERY reasonable, and that's coming from someone in their early twenties who is a penny pincher- I justify this experience he had!), and the staff and overall organization and reassurance this place and its employees provided- we will be recommending Playtime Pet Resort to all friends with fluffy family members.

Started taking my pup to Playtime Pet Resort when she was five months old. Wanted her to spend time playing with other dogs since she no longer had her littermates to play with. In addition to daycare, she has boarded there for a long weekend. Boarding is great because she still gets the daycare routine that she's used to and just needs to settle herself at night to sleep.
She loves to go and gets very excited when we pull into parking lot. I even drive almost 25 miles one way to bring her (turnpike) but I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. She loves having both inside and outside playtime. They have the nicest facility I've seen around and everyone there is great. Highly recommend.

Playtime Pet Resort is THE BEST dog daycare and boarding option. The owners and the incredible community they've built take such wonderful care of all the animals. They always go the extra mile, and our dog literally cries with excitement when we pull into the parking lot. When our chocolate lab comes home from daycare he is literally the happiest, tired, worn out bubs on the planet. Thank you playtime for loving our dog as much as we do!

This was the first time we boarded our dog. I was very nervous. Playtime pet resort was phenomenal. They sent daily pictures (additional cost but worth every penny), it made me feel at ease to see my dog having a great time. Our dog didn't eat, most likely bc of anxiety being in a new place. They kept us in the loop and tried different things to make him feel comfortable, which I appreciated so much! We will definitely visit again!

I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs that go to playtime pet resort for daycare, boarding, and also grooming. They love it! So excited when they go. I get updates when they are boarded. They even called my vet when my dog was having issues while there. The groomers are fantastic! My dogs come back clean and trimmed exactly how I requested. Can't say enough about the caring professional staff! A+

We have a new puppy. 12 week old Golden Retriever. He spent Christmas Eve at daycare for the first time. We were very nervous leaving him for the first time. The staff was amazing. Very kind and welcoming. Made us and him feel so at ease. We called to check on him during the day. They gave us full updates. They were just wonderful. The resort is awesome. Very clean and impressive. I highly recommend Paytime Pet resort for your fur babies!
