This place is the WORST. No matter what that woman tells you, she most definitely sells puppy mills puppies. I had it confirmed by a lawyer. We bought a puppy from this place 3 years ago and we didn't know it at the time but he was very sick. And one of his issues is hereditary (due to puppy mill puppies and over breeding). We have spent a LOT of money to save our boys life. And although I wouldn't trade him for the world. this place does not need to be in business.

I got my puppy late January. I was told he was caught up on vaccines and he only needed the rabies shot when he came of age and only needed it once EVER. The owner knew that I had never had a dog before and used that to her advantage. Obviously she's off her rocker because I'm smart enough to know that's not true, and also she told me to limit vaccines because they all have formaldehyde.

I took my puppy to the vet recently, and apparently he's so behind on vaccinations that he has to start over. Now my dog will be traumatized and I'll have to spend even more money than anticipated. She lied to me about when my puppy had last had a bath too because he did not smell like he had had a bath the day before like she claimed. Just that made me worry about the treatment of the other puppies in the facility.

She was also extremely condescending and rude to my mom, who was just trying to ask questions and become informed but was met with constant, "you aren't listening to me. Are you listening to me?" I wouldn't have even been a customer if I hadn't already gotten attached to my puppy the night before I came back for him. I love my dog, but I would never recommend this place to another person. You'd think for the amount of money we spent, the owner would have the decency to tell us the truth, but it's obvious she only cared about the profit and not the puppies and their well-being. If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would.

I've been trying and trying to call this store and the number seems to be disconnected? No answers at all and the email says it is a false email address. What's going on here? There are people who would really like to adopt a puppy!

So we have a six-year-old who is that a phase in life now where she wants a dog. We knew this day would come but it still hit us as a surprise. We are not pet lovers in any stretch of the imagination. We only own for the most part turtles and pet fish. But the things you do when you love your kids right? We pass by the pet store daily and decided to stop in with our daughter.

It is a fairly tight space but they make good use of it. There are lots of cute puppies of various breeds and the employees including the owner who is very present gave us a quick break down on "puppy ownership 101". We were surprised that dog ownership can be on the pricey side especially the ones as young as the puppies(2,000+). But this place does give you a lot of value for the cost.

They offer free classes for the life of your pets to teach you how to potty train, overall take care and other various areas of pet ownership and it's never a cost as long as you purchased your pet from their store. They have lots of accessories to go with your purchase including a fence that you can put inside of your home and of course several varieties of dog food as well as travel gear.

All of the animals appear be well taken care of and we love the fact that they are a Christian owned establishment and they are very vocal about that. They also do not purchase dogs from what's called a puppy mills, or shady dog breeding companies. So that's good to know and they also include proof of lineage with each pet purchase. We are not ready to take the leap and become pet owners yet but this place appears to be a very good option and the employees look like they really care about the well-being of every animal that sets foot in here.

I would give this place NEGATIVE stars. I got my boxer here 4 years ago. This place still haunts me. I worry about all those sweet puppies and how they are treated at this store. NEGLECT! I wrote a review about my experience a while back but have to write again. I had a friend stop by this store last week. She checked in on FB and I immediately called her to advise her against doing any business with these people.

They sell sick puppies. One word PARVO! If one one puppy there has it they ALL have it. It is super contagious and if not caught in time and treated with a HEAFTY vet bill the puppy will die. One HUGE red flag is they do not provide a health gauruntee. In fact you have to sign something saying once the puppy leaves the store they are not responsible for anything.

When I got my boxer, the very next day he was lethargic, throwing up and had diarrhea. I also notice dhe was weazing and had some green mucus coming from his nose. I took him to my vet right away and he tested positive for PARVO and PNEUMONIA. We had to take him to am emergency vet where he stayed ina secluded pod for 5 days. Luckily, they were able to save him. but it cost about $3,000.

I had to pay that in addition to the cost of my pup from the puppy store. Their response. NOTHING. well they tried to blame me for my dog being sick. After that phone call (took a lot of work to get anyone on the phone) I could no longer get anyone on the phone. This place should be SHUT DOWN! IT IS THE WORST!

The lady will say they get from USDA licensed breeders but that doesn't guarantee they don't come from puppy mills, a USDA license just means they're allowed to sell to pet stores because they meet the very minimal requirements which is just food, water, and shelter. The parents of these puppies are kept in cages with no enrichment and no room in their cages, puppy mills. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM HERE. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE AND GET IT SHUT DOWN!

They will tell you that you can finance a dog. It is not financing. It is a lease that will make you owe double the amount that you are already paying. My dog was 1,999 dollars but she said she misquoted me, he is supposed to be 2,999 dollars. I got him for 1,999 but honestly I should have bought him with my credit card. It is disgusting and unethical to lease a dog.

A dog is a living, breathing thing. I can't step foot in that place again. I got a beautiful, healthy baby dog though and thank God for that. I will do all I can to make pet leasing SCAMS illegal in the state of Georgia. The owner is a christian woman so I hope she honestly believes it's financing and not a lease. If she knows it's leasing and still lets her customers do it than shame in her.

In other words, call it what it is. If she is offering leasing, then call it that. The puppies were all cute, the place was clean, and i can tell the workers love the animals. Just please walk in with cash money if you buy from them. I got a loan from my bank to pay off my lease which saved me hundreds, but im still out hundreds more. 1,999 dog cost me 4,292 but wouldve cost me 5,568 if i'd stayed in that unethical, should be illegal lease where they can repo my animal. not a couch, not jewelry but a living, breathing animal with feelings. BUYER BEWARE.

Do your research, responsible breeders do NOT use pet stores as middle-men to sell their animals, puppy mills do. Getting a puppy from this place only supports a cruel business that profits off poorly cared for, scared animals that are used as breeding machines. Visit your local animal shelter - they have puppies. Do a google search for a breed specific rescue. Also, $2500 for a puppy is insane!

You can find puppies and purebreds at rescues, usually from $50 to $250 and it includes all their shots and spay/neuter. Your perfect pet is out there and I guarantee it's not at a pet store.

Never fall for there so called "in store financing " i went in to look at puppies got pitched this bullshit offer, i was too excited to read the fine print and now i am leasing my damn dog, i don't even own my dog. I now have to pay twice the price of my dog plus a buy out fee to end the lease. Sigh do your research people, ignorance cost me $100s. I do love my puppy though the only good thing that came out of this raw deal. I wish i could legal fight this store and there so called financing company.

I bought a german Shepherd may 2016 and the price was 2k but because I had no knowledge of common prices I agreed, and plus he was cute and my daughter loved him. We were told to return for potty training and 3 days after purchased the dog started having horrible diarrhea and when I called the store for the owner, she kept on not being available. I ended up taking him to a vet to find out he had parvo. Called the store again for the owner and she was out for a conference for 2 weeks or something like that. $700 later the dog was healthy, and the owner never called back after me leaving plenty of messages for her to call me back about the situation.

The girl that answer the phone was unaware of how to do anything. Do not recommend buying from here. By the way the owner discounted the price of our dog at checkout by $200 so we couldn't get the warranty.

Update on Cubbie and a retraction of my last review- - I am severely disappointed with the lies that were told by Puppies Galore. I took Cubbie to the vet and they told me he had kennel cough and that he was neutered so I was thinking about getting a littermate of his to breed (he would've made beautiful babies) So naturally I look up the breeders. Tom and Carla Steffensmeier- - notorious puppy mill breeders in Iowa who also work with Petland. I was told they never buy from puppy mills and that they keep their puppies in the best conditions. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

This place needs to be shut down. The owner has no paasion for the business. She is no where to be found, there is little to no management or customer service. The puppies are in the care of minimum wage teenagers. They are kept in small kennels stepping in their own shit. It advertises that it doesn't sale from puppy mills but that appears where these pets came from.

They are sick. I have worked with animals for 20 years, some in the veterinarian world.and I applied here. Just to help out for the sake of the puppies and in two weeks eas unable to contact anyone that wasn't a minor or anyone that had any idea what is going on in that place of business.

It was a rainy afternoon, and we needed to get out of the house. We've been considering getting a family dog so we decided to make a trip up here from Dunwoody thinking that they would have a good variety of breeds and puppies, and we would be able to research which breed would fit best with our kids. Plus, they advertise that their puppies are from reputable breeders and not puppy mills. Anyway, we were highly disappointed with our visit.

First of all, there weren't many puppies or breeds. Second of all, they were extremely rude. They had a handful of puppies in cages and two playpens for customers to visit with puppies. The playpens were disgusting with stool smeared on the ground, which you'd think they would clean up between visits. There were two chairs in the playpen where they instructed the adults to sit and for the kids to sit on the floor.

There was no way in hades my kids were sitting on that nasty floor. So they stood the whole time, which we kept getting dirty looks for. I told them we were interested in the doodle breeds so they brought out their only doodle, which they called a goldendoodle. This dog was clearly a golden retriever, not a doodle. It was a sweet, cute golden, but definitely not a doodle. Anyway, while we were visiting with the puppy, the owner? came to us and asked if we were planning to buy a puppy today.

We replied that we were currently doing research to see what breed would be best for our family. The owner then said (in a pleasant, mousy, condescending tone of voice), "Well, just to let you know, we're going to have to ask you to step out of our visiting area if there are other customers who are wanting to visit puppies." There was one other couple in the store at the time.

I proceeded to tell her, "We just plan to visit with one more puppy." Then she repeated, "OK, but if it gets busy then we're going to have to ask you to step out." So we said, "Not a problem, we'll leave now." She then said, "Please come back to visit anytime." The only thing worse than a blatantly rude person is a rude individual who speaks to you in a pleasant tone of voice acting like they aren't being rude.

In the words of my six year old, "That's bad business!" On another note, they wouldn't even let me use their restroom. How are you supposed to decide on buying a $2-3k puppy within a few minutes? I'm sure someone has had to use the bathroom within the time of that decision making process. How do you not allow your customers to use your restroom? That's totally bad business!

I purchased my puppy a couple months ago from here. She has had terrible Kennel Cough and Geradia ( Or however you spell the word). I should have read the reviews about this place before buying. Shop elsewhere Staff was kind but their puppy they sold me had cost me a pretty penny fixing its problems she has.

I went to Puppies Galore to see if I could find the puppy for me. I wasn't greeted when I walked in. After about five minutes, the lady at the front asked if I was "ready to buy" I said "no, I have to pick a puppy first." This lady had the audacity to tell me to comeback when I get serious THEN she would let me hold a puppy. Wtf? Congratulations, you played yourself.

I ended up going to the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. They let you play with the dogs BEFORE you adopt them. and you don't have to sell a kidney to afford it. I wonder how many potential customers this lady has scared off.

The girl that answers the phone here has absolutely no idea about what's going on or how to do her job. She's completely mindless and can't even speak up, so i couldn't even hear the information she did have l. Their list system for their dogs is completely pointless- they dont call you when they get a dog in and they'll just sell it to whoever. So unimpressed by this place.

Not a good place for anyone to go. Puppy mills or not they are extremely rude here. We were playing with a puppy in the puppy playpen area and they asked us to leave if we weren't going to purchase a dog that day. $500+ for a puppy when I could go to a local shelter and adopt. Another thing you'll notice the second you walk in this place is the horrific smell.

I kid you not, it smells like something may have honestly rotted in here and gone bad. Almost a mix between a moldy smell and dog poo and dog urine. I don't know how to explain it but it's disgusting. DO NOT GO HERE.

Just an update. The puppy had parvo and died. She had parvo the day I bought her. I called Darlene about it and she called the cops then took me to court for "felony terroristic threats". I only threatened to sue her. The judge dismissed the charges. But I bought a sick puppy that died and she took me to court! This place will not keep my money easily.
