They are truly amazing here.my boyfriend and i recently adopted kori (formally known as shadda) about a week ago and they were so kind and helpful with everything. Our councilor was the sweetest ever and they truly do care about their pups. definitely will be back next time we're looking for another addition to our small family.

Absolutely a setup I recently adopted a dog from the shelter who I thought would be a great match. At the shelter he was a bit antsy but I thought it was because the employee had left the room we had asked a little about him, things like if he was house broken or potty trained to which they responded yes he was an owner surrender but he isn't good on the leash whoever it has not been day 3 of him not using the bathroom not only is he not house broken he doesn't even know the word potty and they said they worked with him? Bullsh@! Biggest problem though is they said he was friendly and he has been biting that is not okay as I have little kids in my house another thing he will not be good with.

I think I was given a bunch of misinformation on the dog. Not only does he not know basic commands he doesn't know his name nor is he house broken i think they spread false information to have the dog adopted faster but im afraid he will bite one of the kids in my neighborhood I didn't sign up to have my animal put down because the shelter can't be honest. Makes me wonder. Plus front staff wass rude and rushed us during the process. I don't think their best interest is in the animal

Recently adopted a dog and was told he was potty trained, friendly, and knew basic info. He doesn't know a single thing besides his name which he barely knows, he doesn't know basic things such as potty and outside which any dog would jump at, he bites which is a big problem and doesn't listen to anything. The staff was also disrespectful and un-communicative. This has caused a lot of problems at home and I can't imagine what those dogs go through.

Very kind and caring staff. Animals are well taken care of. My father passed away and had several cats. They were willing to work with me to get them taken care of. My dad loved the cats like children so it was extremely important to me that they went somewhere that would have their best interest in mind. I am truly thankful.

Quad City Animal Welfare Center is one of the nicest shelters I have visited. The staff genuinely love the animals and they take very good care of them. We adopted a Labrador from them and they were great to work with. The place is clean and the staff members are polite and helpful.

I rescued a Shepard mix from here that was a transplant from a kill shelter. He and his brothers and sisters had clean kennels with outside access and comfy looking raised beds. The dogs clearly respected the staff and the staff appears to treat every animal like family. If/when I'm ready to add another family member this will be the first place I look

Great place to get your fur baby! As a volunteer I can say they take care of the animals & cleanliness as their duel #1 priority! There are no shortcuts in either. Check them out for volunteering and/or adopting and/or fostering

I was blessed with these two kittens from QCAWC. Although I couldn't visit in person prior to adoption, the staff was very patient and answered all of my many questions. I first got Ninja (the multi color) in December 2020 and then decided he needed a brother. Samurai has been with us for one month. The two get along so well. Thank you QCAWC for making my home a happy one.

They were very nice and informative. Walked us through everything we needed to know about Tazer and so far he is happy checking out his new home. Thank you.

This place is super nice. We came here with our the intention on petting some animals but ended up taking home the cutest and nicest cat. Her name is Shamrock. The people here are very nice and they deserve as much love as they can get. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxed but the animals were so happy to see everybody. Thank you! - Your Local Guide!
