Richmond Dog Obedience Club Effective immediately, Richmond Dog Obedience Club will no longer require individuals to wear a mask when entering the building. Individuals may continue to wear a mask, if they want. We are a volunteer organization dedicated to training dogs to be better pets and to provide advanced training necessary to earn the Obedience titles awarded by the American Kennel Club.

We believe that responsible dog obedience training is the key to a healthy relationship with your dog. RDOC's inclement weather policy is to close if the Richmond City Schools are closed.
Services
RDOC - Richmond Dog Obedience Club is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the relationship between pets and people by teaching responsible dog ownership and obedience classes. We are the only dog obedience organization in Richmond area granted a license by the American Kennel Club to hold obedience trials.
Most organizations have a stated purpose, often called a mission statement. If you look at the RDOC website or in our literature we state that: "Richmond Dog Obedience Club is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the relationship between pets and people by teaching responsible obedience classes."
You must turn in a completed membership application to the Membership Chairperson, complete with at least two recommendation letters from club members and the membership dues. RDOC membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at the RDOC building at 7:00 pm. Club meetings are not held during the month of July and December.
Please verify the above information and make any corrections, including your current telephone number and email address on the Account Profile page. Great job helping me train my lab puppy. Would recommend for every dog owner to get the foundations of commands down. He was between 35 and 75 lbs then and 100 lbs now. No fat just big. And smart now.

Awesome place for beginners or anybody interested in dog obedience & training. They offer many types of classes and their instructors are all owner handlers. The instructors and members are all extremely friendly, helpful and want you and your dog to succeed. They teach you how to train your dog.

Best place in Richmond for training your dog. Great trainers who have your dog's best interest at heart. They train YOU and your dog.

We recently used RDOC to train our golden retriever puppy. It was an awesome experience, I learned a ton and it had a huge impact on my dog's behavior. Valerie and her crew are no nonsense professionals who take their responsibilities very seriously. I would highly recommend RDOC.

RDOC has a great training facility and great training. I attended a great scentwork seminar. Looking forward to going back in February for their obedience trial.

Fun place to take your puppy and learn how to train them. Staff was nice and I learned a few truck on the first visit. Me and Rigby have a long way to go but I'm confident in the STAR puppy program.

Seems to be a great place to take your dog for all sorts of training, we were not able to attend the class because of issues with our shepherd.
