Riverview Animal Clinic - Amy Tate

We have been going to Riverview for a few months now for our Leopard gecko with Dr. Cambell with a phenomenal experience; however, recently we have gotten a kitten with some neurological issues. Yesterday, after a seizure, Riverview informed us to bring him right in & took phenomenal care of him concerning his condition. Would recommend to anybody in a similar situation to reach out, all of staff has clear empathy regarding these guys regardless of what animal it is.

My bearded dragon Dexter became gravid and would not pass them. I live in mid-Alabama and there is only Auburn University or another doctor (not going to mention) that openly treats exotics. I got in touch with Riverview and spoke with Dr Atlas. He talked with me personally and kept up with me until the day of the surgery. In the waiting time, I was able to take Dexter to Thornton Animal Hospital for x-rays and sent those to Dr Atlas.

He did an amazing job in the surgery, treatment, and post-op. He took his time explaining everything and truly loves the animals. The staff is awesome and personable. I am bringing Dexter here for her future annuals!

My bunny oliver has gone into GI Stasis quite a few times! Most of the vets i went to did not treat him well and told me nothing was wrong. I took him to Riverview and they treated him with the best care. Dr. Kerlin was extremely thorough when checking him and diagnosed him with Stasis. She saved my buns life and i will forever use them as my vet. Thanks Dr. Kerlin!

This was my first time at Riverview. Everyone there made me and my puppy, Barkley, feel loved and welcomed. It is very comforting to be made to feel welcomed and that my puppy is not just a number. Dr. Le Blanc was awesome. He took time to talk to me and love on Barkley. I look forward to our next visit.

We recently took our newest member of our family, Stormie Gem, to Riverview Animal Clinic for a standard wellness check after adopting her from the humane society. Dr. Cobb and the young lady assisting her were great and gave nice pointers to keep out newest girl happy, healthy and safe. Also important to note, the entire front desk staff/workers are always so friendly, helpful and welcoming.

We've used Riverview for several years. We moved to Riverview after using several other vets in the area. Without a doubt the pros at Riverview are the absolute best. They care about you and your pet and they are very efficient! I've never had a bad experience in all the years.

Dutch (my kitty) enjoyed his time there. He got lots of cuddles from the techs. The vet put me at ease and Dutch is doing a lot better now.

We have used them for over thirty and has always had wonderful experience with all our pets.

I drove an hour to bring my rat to Riverview, all of the exotic vets in my area were closed and he unfortunately got a cat bite. Dr. Kerlin is by far the best vet I've seen since living here, she looked over Sushi (my rat), and was very realistic about his condition. He's now on two medications, and critical care omnivore and seems to be perking up. I would recommend them pretty highly to any one with exotics.

Took a long time to get in and out but doctors were informative and kind. I appreciate the options I was given when it came to preventative care of my elderly rabbit. I was able to bring in my cat and my rabbit in the same day and get checkups and shots in one visit

They are the best they helped my dog that almost died while giving birth to her puppies but thankfully we got one and he's perfectly happy and healthy

The vet and assistants are fantastic! I can't say enough positive things about them and the treatment of my puppy. They're patient, upbeat, and kind to the animals. You can tell they enjoy what they do. Everyone took their time, answered all of my questions, and did a thorough exam. I recommend this vet office 100%!

Excellent care, services. The Dr's are a five. The technicians, front desk, all very good. They have a phone app. It's a top shelf Vet and man do you pay for it. That's why 4 stars. Crazy expensive. You won't walk out of there for under 100 for anything and 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 hundred bucks isn't unusual. If you can manage that the animal expertise and experience when there is good

First, the HOURS are unbeatable. It gives me so much peace of mind to know that I have options if anything happens on the weekend. Still, none of that would matter if the staff wasn't good, and they've been amazing! Dr. Dodger is so kind and knowledgeable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Everything about the clinic is so convenient, and they make me feel so valued as a client! Highly recommend taking your pet here :
