About us: Rye Country Boarding Kennels (RCBK), has been owned and operated by Stella and Sam DiEdwards since 1973. Stella's love for animals goes back to her early teens when she worked at Belle Vue Greyhound Stadium in Manchester, England (UK). It is during this time that Stella learned the ins and outs of obedience training, kennel care, and dog handling.
We require your dog to be vaccinated against rabies, parvo/distemper. Bordetella (kennel cough) is not required but we strongly recommend that your dog be vaccinated against bordetella at least 2 weeks prior to boarding, so that the vaccination has time to take effect before entering the kennel. You can pick up your pet any time during normal business office hours 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday. The Cattery is a separate room for the kitties to board in - this makes for happier kitties (and doggies, too!)

RCBK is the best affordable kennel in Southern Westchester! The owners are pleasant and it's obvious how much they care for the dogs. The new addition of play time is great! While I used to bring my dog to a "boutique" boarding facility, the pricing was outrageous and the experience not personable. You will not be disappointed, this is a quality boarding facility where you can trust your fur babies will be well taken care of. Thank you RCBK!

This is the only Kennel I trust. I have a very shy and unsocial dog who is always afraid around strangers. This kennel is a great option for us. She is well treated, and well cared for and you can call from the road at any time to get an update and they will know which dog you are asking about and give you a full update on progress/issues. It can be difficult to leave your dog in a strange place, but this place gives me peace of mind.
