I took my puppy to be seen for an ear infection & the staff was beyond excellent & compassionate with my baby. I highly recommend anyone take their animal there for care. I was able to afford the visit also making the visit more pleasant instead of a dreadful one. Thank you San Juan Vet Hospital for all your help.
Hair loss and constant scratching can indicate fleas, food allergies or other more serious skin conditions. We provide specialized dermatological services to all of our patients including allergy testing and desensitization treatments. Dermatology revolves around the skin. Many pets routinely have skin problems, which can be quite challenging for our veterinarians.

My cat needed emergency vet care after hours. I called four different numbers to be told they're not going to accept him, that they could only euthanize him for over $400. Lady was rude as heck. I called Animal Haven once and they accepted my cat, now he's recovering and alive. Don't recommend this place, go to Animal Haven instead.

My dear Abbey, 9 year old Airedale mix dog has had some serious allergies.causing her skin to be itchy and it us miserable for her. Dr. Garcia has been so very helpful in treating her for her discomfort. It has been over a year that we have battled it. I trust him as our vet. He is caring and consoles me as well. The staff are professional and busy as little bees. I hope they realize how their service in each of their jobs helps keep the clinic running smoothly. Thanks to you all!

My dog needed emergency vet care as he had multiple lacerations that needed stitched up. I called our vet we always go to at 330 on Friday and they told me we had to go to the on call vet. I was upset that our vet office wouldn't see us. San Juan Vet was so kind when I called, got my boy in extremely fast, and Dr. Kaiser was great! My boy had to stay over night but when I picked him up, I knew he was well taken care of!

The staff were amazing and very accommodating even though we weren't regular patients. Both my pups will start going to this vet in the future. Thank you San Juan Vet for taking care of my baby!

I had to watch my dog scream, cry, convulse, and eventually die after after 2 hours of this. She suffered immensely tonight because they wanted to charge $500 just to euthanize her humanely. No payment options, sorry I can't talk to my bank and get a loan in the middle of the night on a Sunday. The lady on the phone then had the audacity to say she isn't in any pain when I asked if there was anything I could do to ease her pain while listening to her scream in agony. Absolutely cruel monsters. They do not care about animals, only the money.

I cured my puppy myself from parvois virus. I was told it would be 200.00 for initial exam, 300.00 for parvois test, 1500.00 for inpatient treatment so if you dont make 2,000.00 in three to four days heres what you do, pedialite every 30 minutes using alarge syringe one shot penicillin procain g (tractor supply ) every morning for three days or until cured give cool baths to keep fever down as needed (feel paws for heat)nose will be dry and ears will be hot as well good luck. They refused to give me any advice just told me bring her in and pay the money. no finance offers nothing guess puppies are for the wealthy in their opinion.

Treated us and our sick baby with the utmost respect. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted with him before he was put to sleep and again after he was gone. Thank you for doing this with dignity. I wish I would have brought him to you in the first place. He might still be with us and on the road to recovery.

I needed to take my dog in to be seen. He's in kidney failure, has seizures, cataracts, etc. He's been treated by a vet here from the start. They said they couldn't get him in until May. Or I could walk in and pay 168.00 for urgent care. Unbelievable. I told them I would find a different vet. 10 minutes later they called me back and said they had a cancelation. So I took that. I just don't understand, if you have a sick animal that they have been seeing and something happens why can't you have the vet look at them?

$700 vet bill and it only cost $60 for the X-ray $100 bucks in antibiotics, $350 just to be seen and the rest for having to come in when they where already in the office. The Dr. was nice and explained everything and the assistant was a young girl very sweet. My boyfriend gave her a hard time for the charges. Very sorry but the price was crazy. If you can afford a $700 dollar bill then that's the place to go.

I needed a place to take my puppy that wasn't to far away and I had no idea which ones were good. Checking Google reviews this place got a good review and the building looked nice, impressive from the outside. The first trip was for my Shephards third set of shots. The people there were nice, professional, the Doc was great. Checked her out, gave her the shot.

The second time was for a second shot. I mentioned she had hurt her foot running around like crazy puppy. Doc took a look and didn't think was serious, gave her some anti-imflamatory. Nice place, always clean, people always nice. I feel I found a good vet and would recommend them to other people.

I sent this to their e mail months ago, never received a response. Support staff are super kind, and loving towards animals. But this was a very unpleasant experience. Hi there, I just wanted to pass this message along. I started taking my pets to your hospital after meeting my husband - he used to take his dog Poppy to your clinic. We later brought our kitten to your surgical hospital for her spay.

We got a call after the surgery, the doctor said she was fine but that she had a bad reaction to the stitches and that it should subside. It never did, even after follow up. She's alright and not in any pain, but she has a persistent tennis ball size bulge on her abdomen. That's not really my concern, though. I understand that no surgical procedure is guaranteed and that there are things out of the control of any doctor.

But after that experience, when I scheduled our puppy Wanda to be spayed, I asked to speak with someone about the specific risks of the procedure and the frequency of side effects. I received a call back a few days later - I wish I asked for the name of the woman I spoke with, that would probably be more helpful to you. I told her about my questions and concerns, and she was pretty insistent that the ill-effects to our cat were likely the result of us not monitoring her post surgery, letting her lick the incision, etc.

I couldn't get a word in edgewise to explain we had been contacted the day of surgery regarding the adverse reaction to the stitches. It was extremely frustrating and truthfully kind of hurtful to be told we harmed our pet, especially after spending quite a bit of money to care for her responsibly. I figured I should tell you all what happened and why we won't be bringing our animals to your hospital anymore. Thanks for your time.

Great care from all staff. Only problem is that to schedule an appointment, the wait was two weeks! You can do a walk in, but you'll be charged the emergency fees.

We usually have positive experiences here but tonight I had the WORST experience a pet owner ever wants to experience. Our pet has an eye injury which caused his eye to swell shut! We requested an AirVet after hours emergency appointment via the app like the message states. After 7 hours of waiting we decided to AirVet call another Vet who stated we should stress to our normal vet the need to be seen because she was concerned that it may be an eye ulcer which can escalate quickly.

I called and left a message and Dr. Garcia called and was very RUDE! When your pets aren't doing well the last thing you need is to be treated poorly. He was very passive and uncompasinate. We will never return and we will be finding another vet!

Staff very friendly and were able to answer my questions without hesitation. They took my dog in quick and was in and out in no time. Very happy with their service. I just wish that my dog had a constant veterinarian, one that would know my dog. Just like people have primary doctors.
