We have been clients for 15 years and I have only positive experiences to recall. The staff has helped me through great happiness and tremendous sorrow. We could never make it without everybody there. Christie is our "one and only". Each Dr. has always shown great empathy and skills in helping take care our our "Zoo" through the years. We love you! We originally went to this clinic because we purchased a sick puppy from petland (we couldn't let him stay their) but in a time of emergency they were amazing. My 7 yr old Leonberger had been super lethargic and I called to get an emergency appt, they got me right in. I raced my dog to the clinic during a tropical storm. By the time I got there he couldn't get up and they came out with 3 people and a stretcher and got him out ( 160lb dog) they rushed him in and started working on him.

They kept me informed thr whole time even though I was absolutely in distraught and couldn't even comprehend what they were saying. He did not make it and they gave us alone time with to say our good byes and grieve the loss of our boy. They made the final arraignments for us also. It was absolutely the worst day of us and they were so sweet, caring and understanding. Even though it is tough to go back there we will definitely be using them in the future.

I was a new pet mother to a wildly adorable bichon named Columbus. I was hesitant about what to expect and all the rules of training and owning a pet. The sweetest thing is my pup already had a vet when I purchased Columbus. This was Sarasota Vet Center, they worked slowly with me I asked my billion of questions and they we really informed. They also gave him his shots.

They worked slowly and made sure that Columbus and I were calm. That Columbus was happy and had a good experience at the vet. I was very thankful and appreciative of all they did. 10/10 and beyond. They were just extraordinary people.

Maggie had a.75 lb fatty tumor on her left shoulder that had to be removed before it impaired her walking. Dr. Johns did an amazing surgery and after a 2 hour procedure she was able to remove it all. Maggie has healed beautifully with no infection or complications and runs and plays just like she used to. I can't even find the scar unless I really look for it. Thanks to the expertise of Dr. Johns I have my pup back.

I have had several pets over the years and decided to change veterinarian offices after we adopted a new kitty and puppy. I can't believe the difference! We love Sarasota Veterinary Center so much! The office is clean and the staff is professional! All the doctors are wonderful. We especially love Doctor Kristie Johns and the vet tech named Alex. They have been so helpful with our kitty TANGO and our dalmatian FLETCHER!

We're snowbirds from MI & had to take our 10 yr. old lab to a Vet due to a slip & fall accident. Took him to Sarasota Veterinarian Clinic & was so impressed. They worked us in to see the Vet quickly. Dr. Smith was awesome. Staff were kind & gentle. Facility was spotless & even smelled clean. Definitely 5 stars!

They are the best veterinarians and take extremely good care of our dogs & cats!

Love the staff always very concerned about your pet and once you leave they always do a follow-up call to see how your pet is doing as well would highly recommend!

My pet Maggie loves going to Sarasota Veterinary Center! She loves Max and Brandon for her bathing and nail clip needs and they are always happy to see her. Great job guys!

This was my dog and I's first visit to the vet. I was worried about how he would react to it, as my dog is old, stubborn, and skittish. Turns out my fears were unfounded. They were very friendly and professional and treated my dog with care. He didn't even complain when his nails were trimmed (he HATES his feet touched) and when he got his shots! The doctor even got down on the floor with him to examine him because he doesn't like to be picked up.

I was thoroughly impressed. Gave us a free first months heart worm and flea prevention meds. A month later I had ordered them on Chewy. Chewy contacted my vet who then contacted me. The vet said they can provide the meds ongoing, which was advantageous as they can track the dosing. PLUS they price matched Chewy (who has terrible customer service btw). SO far, so great! Highly recommended!

Love this place! The doctors and staff are amazing! So professional, and trustworthy with your pets healthcare needs. I have been coming here on and off for years, surgery, prescription food, and so much more. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby! Both when she was a puppy and now as a senior. They provide quality Care in a beautiful office! Go check them out! The same staff has been there for years and that says a lot

My dog and I are not local to Sarasota and are just here for a few weeks each year. My dog started showing signs of an ear infection and my friend referred me here. This clinic was able to get me in the next day, compared to others who had no interest since we would be new clients. The doctor and vet techs were very friendly and made it a comfortable visit for both my dog and I. It is very challenging finding a vet that is trustworthy when you are away from home, and this clinic made it so easy for me!

I love the veterinarian and the text here! I feel like my animals are family and at this veterinarian they are truly being taken care of. The last receptionist I spoke to could use some attitude adjustment LOL but all in all a fabulous place to take your fur baby or babies

We have been using Dr Smith for many years. His staff is excellent. The entire office is relaxed and friendly. All problems have been handled quickly and professionally, keeping our dogs happy and healthy. You can't go wrong with SVC. Thanks Dr Dave!

Great care for our pups! Nice big front waiting room, clean and pretty with animal art. Nice office people who are willing to answer questions. Dr's and vet techs are very personable, caring and knowledgeable. I appreciate the love and care they show to our fur babies and us :
