SO Animal Hospital is simply the the best. Dr. Marc was kind but firm with us about our overweight cat. He explained what we needed to do and how best to do it. We have been bringing our pets here for 30+ years even though it's not the most convenient as we've moved about 40 minutes away. We do it because we trust them. Thank you South Orange Animal Hospital and Dr. Marc!

Curbside service works well! Dr. F is very personable and spends time answering all of my questions.

My little doggie hurt her paw pad in the aftermath of our recent flooding! Her paw was on fire and I was afraid of infection. They got me right in and gave me several options for caring for her, both externally and internally. It helped her and also gave me calm and caring things I could do to get her condition under control.

I have been a patient at SOAH for about 6 years. I really appreciate how kind the staff is and accomodating for emergencies. Dr. Levine is a fantastic vet. He is commpassionate, but transparent and realistic.

I really appreciated being seen quickly for an emergency, even though I just moved here. Staff is super nice and Dr Chang is amazing. My 18mo semi-feral kittie let her examine her, which was the best rating of all. You can tell she cares, and took time to answer my many questions. Definitely my new vet.

Dr. Chang is the best vet I've ever taken my pets to. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped my kitten out so much today with her flea problem. She listens and really takes the time to explain what the issues are without speaking in medical jargon. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Levine is amazing. Just yesterday, he went out of his way - AGAIN - to help my cat. He has helped my animals after hours, taken calls on weekends, and he literally let me come in and see my dying cat a few years ago on the night of Thanksgiving. He is an absolute treasure and on top of the above he is smart, kind, helpful AND goes out of his way to save you money.

Who does that? I am moving to Florida and the biggest regret I have is that I will lose him as our family vet. Truly one of a kind. The staff is kind and helpful as well. All in all it's a great practice.

Great staff, wonderful Drs. They did a wonderful job what on my baby Pebbles's, couldn't walk but after her visit, she is running, going up the stairs. I will be ever be thankful for what they did and THE PRICE is RIGHT, against n zillions and zillions of thanks to all the staff

Critical: Reliability I waited over an hour for my appointment. I was on time and was there for simple shots. Once we got in- it took another 30 mins or so to complete the appointment. I found the cost prohibitive once I received my bill. I think I'm going to shop around.

Just the best vet around. He's been practicing veterinary medicine for decades. He's so good at what he does that it's getting tough to book an appointment. Caring, compassionate, thorough, expert, calm, methodical are all descriptors that apply to Dr. Levine. If I moved two hours away, I'd still bring my animals to him for exams and treatment.

South Orange Animal Hospital has provided excellent care for my new puppy. Dr Chang performed my dog's procedure and the whole process was quick and painless. The vet tech Jess went above and beyond to answer my questions as a new dog owner and I felt comfortable leaving my dog in her hands. I highly recommend to anyone in need of a new vet.

I love that the employees always show care for your pet, even if just talking on the phone. The doctors are patient and understanding and seem to never hear a stupid question. The practice is also very responsive to calls.

From urgent care to routine checkups and vaccinations, we have always had a good experience at S.O. Animal Hospital. Both Dr Levine and Dr Knight have been responsive, informative, knowledgeable, and even capable of a hearty laugh or two---all of which contributes to a positive experience as a dog owner. And mention must be made of vet techs and front desk staff. Even when extremely busy, they take the time to greet clients and pet the dog. Excellent customer relations as well as excellent veterinary medical care!

I have relied on the staff at South Orange Animal Hospital for the care of my pets for more than 25 years. I have always found the staff to be professional, courteous and extremely caring and sensitive regarding the care of my pets. Dr. Levine is an exceptionally qualified vet in whom I have total confidence. The addition of Dr. Knight rounds out the professional capabilities of the team at the facility.
