Suburban Tails is a small business dedicated to the care and handling of your best friend - your pet. With over 18 years of pet care experience, our team is experienced in handling any type of pet, whether it's a 200-pound "lap dog", wiggly parakeets, mischievous hamsters, shy kitties, and scaly iguanas. We can also handle pets that are not well socialized, are high maintenance, disabled, or post-op and need extra-special handling.

Suburban Tails, LLC was already in the making over 18 years ago, we just didn't know it yet! The owner became the neighborhood dog walker and pet sitter at age 12 simply out of a genuine love for animals and the need for some extra pocket money. Business increased over the years to include regular customers with elderly cats who needed an afternoon visit, frisky puppies who needed some extra exercise, and turtles who needed their dose of medicine.
Let us come sit with you and your pet to determine what services are needed. We thoroughly talk about your schedule and your pet's needs and personality so a full background is part of our records. While you're at work, we'll come by for a mid-day visit (mid-day according to your schedule) and provide some exercise, playtime, food, water, and other pet care as needed. We won't leave without providing fresh water, food or a treat, and a report card to let you know how much fun we had with your furry friend.
Clients must inform your dog walker/petsitter of any upcoming changes to your schedule ASAP so we may accommodate you. Clients must call our office by 10:00 am on that day to cancel a mid-day walk or a charge remains. Clients should choose a 3-hour window for your petsitter to visit your dog that is convenient for your pet - time specific requests will not be honored unless specifically discussed prior to the visit.

I highly recommend Suburban Tails if you need a reliable pet sitter. Sabrina is awesome! She always has time to swing by and let my dog out even on short notice. She always leaves a note to let me know how their walk was and what treats she gave him. If you want a pet sitter who cares about your pets give her a call!
