Sundance Kennels is an established Boarding Kennel with complete dog grooming and bathing services that has been serving the Lower Bucks and Philadelphia County areas for the past 30 years. The current owners, Paul and Jean Edwards bought the kennel from the original owner in 1991. It was at that time, they made renovations and renamed the kennel Sundance Kennels.
Located in Holland just south of Newtown, Pennsylvania our kennel accommodates all size pets from the smallest dog to the largest. The facility is nestled in a park like setting of just over 8 fenced acres.

Services
Your pets will stay in large comfortable suites instead of crates. The inside living areas are all fully heated and air-conditioned. The suites include an over-sized Kuranda bed. Fresh water is available 24 hours. You are welcome to bring personal belongings for them to enjoy during their stay. Music is played in all inside areas to help your pets relax.
We offer full grooming services. You can schedule an appointment whether your pet is staying in the kennel or not. Our groomers have extensive experience in both the show and pet worlds. As a result, your pet will always look like the breed it is. However, if that is not what you want, we will be happy to consult with our groomers to get the trim and look you desire.
As with all shots please consult with your vet on appropriate time required before kenneling. We require a 2 week minimum prior to arrival on all shots. We are sorry but in order to protect all the pets in our care we are not able to make exceptions. We are happy to care for senior pets. We consider any animal over the age of 7 years to be a senior.
We are frequently asked about the effect of changing food or water during a pet's stay. It seems to be a common belief that this is the cause of loose stools. Truth is that this actually only happens in a few pets and will normally only last a day or two and then clear up. What actually is the most common cause is just a change in environment.

We have been using Sundance Kennels for years now and my pups could not be happier when THEY get to go on vacation! Throughout the pandemic, Sundance has been extremely through and safe. The staff is wonderful and the kennel is well kept/clean. Love the personalized report cards of my pups stay and all of the add-on options to make them feel right at home! I don't need to worry about my 4-legged kiddos while on vacation, because I know they are in good hands! PAWS-down, Sundance is PUP-TASTIC!

If I can rate it 0 stars . Called multiple times didn't pick. went walk in (with our 7 month old sweet puppy) today around 12.30pm, a lady came out from building seemed irritated (don't know what at). We asked if we could tour and discuss boarding rates.at which she started in a very mean tone, that how could we come without appointment and that she would need to have dog vaccination records to even let us tour. seriously?
We went to 3 similar boarding kennels yesterday all at same time.all welcomed us without appointments and talked to us like professionals. She bluntly refused us for boarding our dog by saying that there is a waitlist for the week we need to board. If this is how you behave with potential customers, then how you treat dogs in your facility? Very unprofessional.!

We've been taking our pups to Sundance for a few years now and we would never take them any place else! They are experts on dogs and REALLY care about your pets! Their groomer is really good and won Courier Times Best of Bucks 2019. Sundance themselves have won Best of Bucks for the last couple years, and it's well deserved!

I have been using Sundance for the four years and I am beyond thrilled with the way the take care of my pup. My doggie girl does not like to be handled with just anyone but she is so comfortable with the staff at Sundance! We also utilize the grooming service almost every stay and Julie does an awesome job. Peanut always looks great and we look forward to our stay knowing peanut is going to have a great haircut. Thanks again for taking such good care of our doggie girl! The kennedy's

Can't say enough positive things about Sundance Kennels. We dropped our dog off over the holidays for a 5 day stay and grooming. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our requests. They allowed us to bring in all of our dog's favorite toys, bedding, etc. I felt that they truly love animals and felt comfortable leaving my pet. He was super happy when we picked him up and looked like a million bucks after his grooming. We'll definitely be using the kennel again! Thanks!

Being new to the state, it was difficult to find a good place to board my two bull-terrier pups. After good research and reading reviews, my husband and I checked out Sundance Kennels. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and given a tour of the premises, services and options for boarding. After checking out two other boarding places in person, we decided to board out pups here three months later. Sundance Kennels is a great place to bring your pets!
The kennel has long runs (inside and extends outside) that keep your pets safe and warm. The grounds and facility are well-lit and very clean. The staff is kind and show compassion towards your pet and whole family. The staff also has many years of experience and demonstrates great knowledge for what they do. For my pups 5 night stay, we were able to bring all their toys, blankets and bowls to play with. We also chose the option to receive emails and pictures of each pet every day that were always great to see! Sundance Kennels is a great facility and is HIGHLY recommended!

I have been taking my poodle, Sebastian, to Sundance Kennels for grooming for the last 3 + years. It is an outstanding facility. I am so fortunate to have found them and would highly recommend them. It is very well managed, extremely clean and always a consistent, and very positive experience. The groomer, Jackie, does an excellent job, and Sebastian gets many complements on his cut.
All staff members appear to be very well trained, and are friendly and highly professional. I feel very confident in leaving my dog with them, I know he is well cared for there.
