The Woof Gang - Pet Sitting and Dog Walking in Fremont, Newark and Union City

The Woof Gang team is awesome. Mark is reliable, a pleasure to chat with, and really knows how to handle our dog. She gets easily excited, and he knows how to get her to calm down and settle quickly. He also has been a source of wisdom! We asked him a few dog behavior/training questions and he offered helpful insight. Shoutout to Coree and Wolfgang as well, for being responsive, helpful, and friendly. Coree has walked our dog a few times, and it is clear she cares for and loves Dumpling - she sent us some wonderful pictures. We love the Woof Gang!

This review is long overdue! We have used The Woof Gang for about 5-6 years now and we are always happy with them! They are also very understanding as well! One of my dogs have anxiety and does not let anyone walk him besides me and my husband. Mark (who is one of the dog walkers) found a way to get my dog to go on a walk with him! We were so impressed. We only use Woof Gang when we need someone to take care of our fur babies! We highly recommend them!

Mark looked after our pups for 4 days. Very good and reliable service. Mark was great at reading our dogs body language and didn't push beyond what they wanted. They are wary of new people but he was really great at getting them comfortable without pushing and soon they were happy to see him and go for walks. We would highly recommend the Woof Gang for your fur babies!

They just don't come any better. Coree and Wolfgang are the best of the best. I've used them several times and never have to worry. When I return, my two dogs are relaxed and everything is clean. It is so nice to be able to go away and know your furry family members are well taken care of.

After finding the Woof Gang on Yelp, Wolfgang came out to introduce himself to us and our pets in person. While both of our animals are typically shy, they both took to him right away. Given Wolfgang's friendly nature, his way with animals, and the Woof Gang's fair prices, we knew that they were a good match for us. During our recent trip, Wolfgang looked after our kitty.

After each visit, he posted a thoughtful note that can be instantly accessed on their web portal. Even though we did not ask him to, he still took our trash out, vacuumed, and sanitized on top of interacting with our cat (when she let him). We just got back and everything looks great. We will certainly be quick to ask the Woof Gang to pet sit again whenever it might be necessary. Later this year, we will be enlisting the Woof Gang to provide our dog with daily walks. We will update this review with additional information when possible.

We have used Woofgang on three occasions now to take care of our cats for several days. The first time was for our elderly cat who had many issues and additionally they watered the orchids in our greenhouse and outside plants. They did a fine job. The other two times, once in early March of 2020 and again this past week, July of 2021, they have taken care of our two young cats.

We have been very happy with their care. They visited twice each day to feed, water, clean the litter boxes and pet the cats. Additionally we had them put out food for a community kitty. They also gave our water fountain a thorough cleaning. They provide a written report for each visit, available online in your account, while you are traveling. This helps us feel comfortable that everything is going well. Our kitchen was clean (we feed canned food) and tidy when we got home. Our cats were relaxed and ate well while we were gone.

One of the best services for your furry friends. This review is a little late, but better late than never! Coree and Wolfgang were the pillars during our puppy's arrival to our home. They were there from the very first day and helped Leo, our goldendoodle through the initial stages of his life. They came in twice initially and then once as our puppy got older. Leo learnt to pee- potty outside thanks to their persistent training and help.

He also learnt a few tricks. They were available whenever we needed them, even weekends if arranged earlier. We were able to go to work in peace, knowing that our little dog was being cared and looked after by these amazing folks. Thanks for all the help and we are absolutely grateful for their service.

Look no further, you've found your walker/sitter! I just moved out of the Woof Gang's service range and I am so very sad about it. Wolfgang, Coree, and Sandi cared for my standard poodle for almost two years, starting from when she was a puppy and not yet fully vaccinated and needed to steer clear of the outdoor high-traffic areas. I really couldn't have done puppyhood without them.

When my dog started trying to scam extra fetch time after returning from her walks (haha), they were able to accommodate extending her visits on their schedule so that she'd get some walk time and some hangout/play time. I loved that Zoe had the same awesome walker consistently the entire time we used their service, in addition to the owners who also consistently walked and got to know my dog.

No rapid turnover or strange people showing up to walk my dog--just people she'd known since she was a young puppy and loved. Never once did they miss a visit or otherwise leave me wondering when they were going to show up. They were also nice enough to accommodate requests for extra visits on short notice and taught/reinforced good manners in a positive way.

When I traveled and took my dog with me, they also tended to my guinea pig and did a great job. I would have no reservations about hiring them to care for your non-dog/cat critters as well. I am not someone who takes leaving my pets in the care of someone else lightly, as I am a very picky person about anyone who is around my pets or home without me present and expect my pets to be cared for as well as I would.

I can tell you that the Woof Gang put my mind totally at ease by being professional, caring, reliable, and attentive to any requests or instructions. It was a completely worry-free experience even for a habitual worrier. If you're lucky enough to be in their service area, I really encourage setting up a meet and greet. I am confident they will impress you into hiring them, as that consultation alone is very impressive and reassuring. And on top of all of this, their rates are very reasonable. I miss them so much already!

Wolfgang, Coralee and Mark have been taking care of my pets for years. My animals love them and it is obvious that they love my animals. Everything is always left in a good clean and neat condition and they were very thorough

I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! We were out of state for several days for my sister's wedding and had them watch our kitties. What started as 1 indoor cat and the strays outside changed when a expecting female adopted us and had 4 kittens, 4 days before we were leaving. We emailed them to last them know about the surprise kittens and they were so kind about the unexpected change.

After our trip we came home to happy kitties and kittens who had about doubled in size. My 5 year old kitty told me all about their visits and what great care everyone received. He's a scardy cat and most likely hid, but was a happy kitty.

The best pet sitter in the area. They took care of my cat like myself. My cat loves them. They sent you a report on how the visit goes each day, encourage you to have a camera inside the house to see how the visit goes, clean the cat's area - they left it tidy every day, they came at the same window time every day, gave me tips on cat's health. Definitely exceeds my expectation! Looking forward to our next no worries trip.

The Woof Gang have been total life savers on multiple occasions! My dogs are in love with them and when I make plans to be gone all day or even take a short trip, I can rest assured that the pups are in good hands. They are both professional and passionate about the well-being of my dogs and I love that.

All the five star reviews are accurate :). We hired Woof Gang to look after our calico cat Moxie for about 1 week. They were prompt with publishing their daily updates and didn't just feed her and clean the litter box, but took in the mail, watered my plant, and vacuumed her cat tree and the floors! To be honest, paying the money to have a sitter take care of our cat seemed to be worth it vs. having friends check in on the cat. especially since I'm slightly particular about things and it's just relaxing to come home to a clean house instead of cleaning up a little after letting our friends relax while looking after Moxie (hopefully my friends don't read this).

If you're around the Fremont/East Bay area, don't bother trying to find another pet sitter! I looked at other pet sitting reviews on Yelp and while most had good reviews, they always had like one or two extremely concerning ones. And if you're going to be away from your pet for a long period of time, you don't want to risk that.

Once again, the wonderful owners of the Woof Gang exceeded my expectations. I'm very impressed and very happy with the pet sitting services they provided to my cats: My cats are very happy, comfortable and relaxed and safe. My cats were very well taken care of. My house looks immaculate and very well taken care of! This is 5 star service at its best. I highly recommend the Woof Gang. Keep up the great work!

Wolfgang and Coree looked after our cats for three years over our vacations and holidays before we moved away from Fremont. We always knew the cats were in great hands. From the very first time we met them during our initial meeting, Wolfgang and Coree were professional, kind, and truly invested in making sure our cats were well-cared for. While we were gone they provided daily reports of their interactions with the cats, which we could find online.

They were even committed to getting to know our one cat, Tonks, who can be a bit mean and anti-social. We wish we could find pet sitters as great as the Woof Gang where we live now!

I have used The Woof Gang several times recently. I would highly recommend them. Wolfgang and Coree are great as is their other staff. They meet with you prior to any services to explain their offerings, meet your pets and answer any questions you may have. Once you are a client and schedule service, they provide a daily schedule with times (which they adhere to), and provide a brief write up after each visit which you can view on line.

They also provide a more detailed written report that is waiting for you upon your return home. They walked my dogs at each visit, played with them, brushed them, fed them, gave them fresh water, etc. They took out the trash cans for weekly pickup, and swept and vacuumed the house during their visits. They bring in the mail and any packages delivered. I couldn't have asked for more!

We have been using the Woof Gang for about 6 years to take care of our (first 2, now 1 ) dog. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Our dog is NOT friendly with new people. and there are people he's known for years that he considers new people! But Wolfgang is the dog whisperer. I have never seen my dog take to anybody like he did to him. I've only met Wolfgang and Corrie and they are both super patient, nice and compassionate people. They will even take out our trash on trash day when they are taking care of Samson while we are away. I also love that they are as paranoid about security as me!

The woof gang is the reason we can have our dog, snowy. We are two full time working professionals and we are out from 8-5 and the mid day walk is how we can manage to have snowy and not feel guilty. Now that would be a blessing as it is but its the above and beyond which Coree and Wolfgang provide which truly makes them a 5 star(And beyond) business.

They took time to train my dog to be calm before he walks and that has made a huge difference. They also offer suggestions on how to make my pet more comfortable including recommendations for toys, food, training etc. We cannot recommend them enough and are indebted to them.

We could not have been more pleased with the love and care The Woof Gang showed our 100lb pitbull Kayos during our 10-day vacation in December. The following is a list of all the awesome things they did: 1 - Compiled a complete diary of each visit with Kayos. Entries noted Kayos' appetite, behavior, and water intake. These entries could have only been made by actual visits/walks by someone that pays close attention. 2 - TWG performed some complimentary house chores that included vacuuming and dish washing.

This was a pleasant surprise because we did not expect them to perform these tasks. 3 - TWG replaced a burned out light bulb that was high up on our garage wall. Another example of the extra mile traveled by TWG. 4 - Made sure the house looked inhabited while we were on travel. This was especially important as there have been a rash of home burglaries in the area. 5 - It broke our heart a little, but Kayos did not seem like he missed us at all.

He was obviously excited to see us, but he was in tip-top shape, clean, and did not want for anything during our absence. I can't say enough about TWG's service except to give them the highest Yelp rating.

My colleague recommended Woof Gang to us because they took great care of her dog, so I decided to give it a try. We were planning on a vacation for two weeks and so worried that no one could take care of our two kittens like we do. As it turns out, we were wrong and Woof Gang's service was so awesome that I feel obligated to write a review here!

One week before we left, I called them and left a voicemail to schedule the service. The next day, I received a call from Coree saying that they could fit us into the schedule even though it was the busiest time of the year for them. They sent us several forms to fill out. The forms were extremely detailed and they were a pain to fill out; nevertheless, it showed me how much they care about pet sitting my kittens and they really wanted to make it a great experience for them.

After their initial consultation visit, I felt even more delighted and comfortable with allowing them to take care of my kittens. Coree and Woofgang were unique caring individuals and they were very knowledgeable about both dogs and cats. They brought official documents of their business to the visit and asked many great questions about our requirements and the behaviors of my kittens.

As owners of several cats themselves, Coree and Woofgang made some recommendations to us (i.e. type of litter to use, auto feeders, cat treats) that still benefit us tremendously today. As expected, their pet sitting service was excellent. They kept detailed notes about each visit and made them available online so we could access them and knew exactly what had been going on.

To our surprise, when we were back, we received two Christmas gifts - a new type of litter they bought for us. It was so much better than the ones (i.e. Pine litter and Clay litter) we were experimenting with. When we went to retrieve our keys at their house, Coree had put out another gift for us - a giant litter box that fits our little bathroom much better than the three smaller boxes we have currently.

I strongly feel that they were not just doing business, but also making friends with their customers. They observed what could be improved for my pets and our environment and help us become better pet owners. All in all, I highly recommend their service to any pet owners. I would use their service again without a doubt for my next vacation. The only suggestion that I have for them is to make the forms online. For example, they could use SurveyMonkey to set the forms up and distribute them. They could also easily keep a digital record by doing that.

What I like best about Wolfgang's service are the notes he leaves! It's a pleasure each day to hear about how Clara is doing and to know that all is well at the house. I can't think of a single thing that would IMPROVE the quality of service that Wolfgang provides. Your service EXCEEDED my expectations.

What I liked best about Wolfgang's service is that he kept me up-to-date on my pet, with info about walks, care, changes in behavior, questions, etc. My pets were happy and obviously well cared for. I can't think of anything else that I'd need!

Wolfgang is very good with Carly. He's taught her not to pull on the leash. She looks forward to his coming to take her for walks. Wolfgang provides dependable, friendly service and Carly LOVES him!

What I like best about Wolfgang's service is the pet sitting diary. I love how I can hear about how my pup's day went & also that he was tired enough so I didn't have to take him out for the usual 30 minute walk after a long day of travel!
