We have been in the business of dog training for over 30 years; all breeds, all ages. We have had great success with problem dogs, timid dogs, aggressive dogs, and everything in between. We at Valley View welcome puppies, yearlings, older dogs with some or no training, shelter dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs straight from a breeder. Our dog training program is based on trust and praise. Praise is a dog's fondest reward and pleasing you, their owner is their fondest wish. We would like to help you and your canine companion communicate effectively with each other and reach all of your training goals.
Services
A six week course designed to inform you on the fundamentals of owning and caring for your puppy, age 3 to 6 months old. This course covers problem solving with housebreaking, chewing, biting, jumping up, digging, and barking. Also learn about nutrition, exercise, grooming, discipline, health care, and safe toys.
Valley View Canine LLC's Dog Daycare is unique to most pet boarding, pet sitting, or other doggy daycare centers you may have encountered. Valley View Canine LLC has been an obedience school first and foremost, serving the Gresham area for the past 25 years. We added our Gresham-based dog daycare as a service to our clients several years ago.
From small ones to big ones, Valley View Canine LLC works with them all (and the dog's people too!). No question is too stupid to ask. I myself am working with two dogs, one Boston Terrier and one mixed breed rescue. What I have learned from Valley View Canine LLC's instructors is how to be the leader of the pack with my dogs.

Training is fantastic, love the staff. Puppy always comes home exhausted from doggy daycare.

Absolutely terrible, they opened the door and when the dogs were barking (because they're dogs) I heard the staff including the very rude old lady at the door yelling at them. No one is allowed in and I guess it's been a rule since forever, it's so sketchy and I feel so bad for those dogs.

Awful first impression! Very unfriendly! The lady, possibly the owner, older with longer white hair, that answered the door, was rude and very short with us as though she did not have the time and as though we were bothering her. Not to mention we heard her yelling, possibly at the dogs when we walked up and when we walked away from the front door.

She wouldn't let us in, acting as though she was hiding something. Super scetchy vibes, we will NOT be returning not seeking services for our puppy there. The only reason I have this place 1 star is because it's required to post a review.

Lynette is an amazing trainer! She truly cares about creating confident, educated, responsible owners. She is encouraging and goes the extra mile to help dogs and their owners build a more trusting relationship. She adjusted to the pandemic and has been able to continue providing wonderful training via Zoom. And it works!

My dog loves it here & she won't allow anyone else to trim her nails. She loves the daycare & has been boarded here. Great care, friendly, trustworthy with your fur baby.

I have been taking my dogs here for 3 years. My dogs LOVE it, even my scared frantic girl who hates dog parks. It's safe and they take care of my dogs' individual needs. When my girl was younger, they kept her with the small dogs. They helped her gain more social confidence and eventually moved her to the big dog area. One day they noticed my boy was feeling a bit cranky and just moved him to the old, chill dog area. He just needed to relax. I really trust the staff here and my dogs love them, too! Plus they have boarding which means my dogs get to go to "camp" when we're out of town.

The trainers here are awesome. I think I worked with Jen and she was amazing and so helpful I really appreciated the extra time she put in offering advice and suggestions. I had to put my rescue pup through a more intense one on one training program due to his past but I will definitely be back for more with Valley View

Valley View Canine is a life saver for dog parents. Our puppy has become a young man dog with confidence because of the socialization with other dogs and attention from the wonderful staff. We also took advantage of the training that has made for a well balanced dog that we trust and adore. Plus he's too tired from a day at camp to get into any puppy mischief at home.

Love this facility the staff are really helpful and truly care about your pet as they know they are your family. I was a little hesitant about the classes using the training collar also known as the choke collar but they teach you how to use it as a tool which is how it should be. After taking the obedience 1 class my dog is doing better than I ever thought she would. And yes you might have to repeat classes as we did but it's worth it as it helps you bond with your pet and helps you become a better owner as well

Highly recommend Valley View Canine. Over the past 4 years we have taken multiple training classes and have taken our dog to daycare and have boarded her there so many times I've lost count. We've always been happy with their staff and services and our dog loves to go there. It's especially great to find a place to board your dog that has daycare during the day so you know your dog isn't just sitting in a kennel missing you all day. My only wish is that they would have Sunday pick up for boarding. Currently if we board our dog on the weekend we can't pick her up until Monday.
