6 days since I've requested medication for my kitty calling every 2 days for an update. Beyond upsetting

Pay attention to the low reviews on Yelp, they are not without warrant. My boyfriend's older cat was sounding weezy and we went to Valuepet because the other clinics around are pretty booked and VP does walk-ins. Arrived before opening as typical wait times here are 2-4 hours. Took about an hour+ to get in and they wanted to run some x-rays and tests so they recommended leave kitty and come back later in the afternoon.

The bill for all of this was pretty hefty as it had some upsells. They recommended a special flea powder and revolution which I purchased. I got home and checked the bag the next day and no flea supplies. Upon calling and asking for a refund or to come grab the stuff, they couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. So great, they get to keep $108 of product.

I also noted an extra charge of $51 as they said kitty was dehydrated. He was in a cage all day without water. That's the part I'm mad about which prompted this review. Kitty didn't deserve that. It feels like they neglected him than charged me to fix their mistake. I won't be taking any pets here again or recommending them ever.

The staff and doctors are wonderful here. Despite hearing them be abused by other clients they keep their heads up and remain dignified. They always do anything they can for my pets and are extremely thorough!

I would give it zero stars if possible. Long story short, if your pet is having an emergency you're better off treating them yourself rather than take them here. They do not care for you or your pets or have any sense of urgency and will leave you with no answers for weeks on end. Reception is lazy and can't even look up files when requesting to find out what is wrong with your pet.

Unless you're a Starbucks delivery person with coffee for the office (as they get that constantly and seem to care about that), don't bother stepping foot in this terrible "pet clinic". Did not receive my pets urgent medication after waiting for almost 2 weeks. Continued calling and going in, following up with when it would be ready until I was forced to take my pet in again as conditions got worse. The medication was "ready" after I left the office and had another bill, what a coincidence right? This place is a scam.

I was told that I am no longer allowed on the premises due to an incident on 1/06/2022, where I arrived at the clinic with a very sick dog after traveling all the way from Auburn, not only that but I had a 7month old, a 3 year old with severe autism, a 9 year old and a 12 year old in the car with me as well as our very sick dog who had just had a seizure.

I came in filled out the paperwork, and walked back in after filling out the paper work, the time of my arrival was 4:20 I was made aware that the wait time upon coming in would be 2+ hours after the woman at the front desk attempted to guilt trip me about the staff having family members to go home to, but because my dog really needed to be seen, I told them I would wait.

I asked if it would be fine that I went and got the kids something to eat and the lady said sure, that it would be no problem that the wait time didn't look like it was going to change, she did not say you are leaving at your own risk she assured me I would have time to get my 4 children who had not ate yet, something quick and would be back in time to get my dog seen. Looking back on it now I feel as if she told me I could leave KNOWING that it wasn't that long of a wait time, just so they didn't have to see me because it was the second instance where I was hinted at that I should come back tomorrow in the morning, something I was not able to do because my kids are in school and we do not have another vehicle to take during the day and my dog was in need of care.

When we left it was 5, 25 minutes later and we were on our way back and I get a phone call asking if I'm still in the parking lot, I asked how it had gone from 2-3 hour wait time to 25 minutes and told them I was at the stop light right before the place to turn in and could be there in under 5 minutes, I told them what the lady at the desk had said and was told that they have policies and the vet had "had a long day" and wasn't going to make an exception that we shouldn't have left.

It did not matter that I had been told multiple times in multiple ways that I could leave and get my kids lunch, it didn't matter that we were less than 5 minutes away, it didn't matter the condition of my dog at the time. The idea implied that I verbally abused anyone other than being upset and ending the call after saying thank you, is outrageous, I would NEVER abuse anyone verbally and especially abuse them verbally over the phone while my kids are in the car. Was I upset? Yes, because of the amount of time it took to not only get there, but by the fact that I needed to get my dog who had, had a seizure, was choking on himself and most likely needing to be put to sleep due to old age care and was unable to.

You don't need to send me a letter accusing me of something that is slanderous and defamatory, and I honestly expected the letter to be an apology letter given the facts. There is a reason this place has 2 stars.

Took our dog in due to a lump we found on her belly. Vet did a test, sent it to a lab, came back as a mast cell tumor. We have been trying to get a call back from the vet to get some more info. on the prognosis but despite multiple calls and msgs we have still yet to receive a call back and it's been 2+ weeks. Ridiculous service and would not recommend to anyone.

They start check in at 7am & taking clients at 8am. I got there at 7am & was the third person. When they opened I was out the door by 8:40am. Right now there is a crisis in lack of vets so the earlier the better, if you wait until 9/10am youll be there 2-4 hours. Early bird gets the worm. The vet was super kind & educational towards my two cats. Prices are reasonable. Thank you!

I waited almost 7 hours to be seen. Their snarky sign says don't call you have not been forgotten. when i was finally seen, first thing said was that i HAD been forgotten although i had been in there four times to update file and use restroom. i paid for test results and never received them. when i dared to question why i hadn't received them, true to their snarky sign, I was fired as a client.

As if I had EVER intended to go there again lmao! They mailed me all of my records except for the test results i just paid for. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND $$ AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I thought I posted this but it didn't show up for some reason. They never disappoint here. Brought our Ollie in for his vaccines & fecal sample. The service and care they have provided all animals we have brought here is wonderful. They are a walk-in clinic so wait times vary but it's better than scheduling an appointment to have to wait anyway. Very happy & so are our fur babes! Thank you!

So I'll start off by saying we got there at 10:40 am and waited 3-4 hours before we got seen, we finished and left at 4:15 pm. So a checkup will be an all day thing if you so choose to come, when they say 2-4 hours they really mean 4 hours. When we got inside the workers seemed nice and I didn't have any issue communicating with them my concerns.

There was however one thing that bothered me. During the checkup with the attending vet, she recommended bloodwork to be done, it was necessary for the medication she needed so I said yes. She said there was one that was "a little more expensive" but she recommended strongly. When I got the Bill, it was $190 for just that test and when I asked the assistant why it was necessary to have the more extensive one done, she really couldn't answer and just said it was up to me.

The other blood test was only $65 and it was good enough for her medication so I don't quite understand why the push for the other blood test was necessary. So I left feeling: 1. The wait was extremely long and having to sit in my car in 88 degree weather for four hours sucked 2. I'm unhappy with the service that was recommended when there were more affordable and equally good choices available.

Took my dog on Saturday because my dog choked on something Thursday and my normal vet recommended here since they couldn't get him. Spent over 4 hours and over $400 to be told he had pneumonia. When I pushed about the choking the dr said the x-ray only showed a "mineral buildup" that was not of concern. Fast forward to Monday and my dog is worse so we go back. Turns out he has a blockage and now they have to send us to a vet hospital for a scope and $2-3000.

My dog has suffered an additional 2 days because of them. Save your pets life and go somewhere else. Staff was friendly but dr was very rude on phone when we tried to find an emergency vet ourselves because we didn't know what they were doing after 30 minutes of sitting outside with no update.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Over 2 +hr wait for puppy vaccines- so I called to check to see where we were on the waitlist. The receptionist informed me that our check in papers got stuck on another clients and we got missed. after 2+hrs I was done. They also misdiagnosed my dogs autoimmune disease several years ago and charged us over 800$. I would have never came back to this clinic if it wasn't for all other clinics not accepting new clients.

My dog died for the wrong reason. I took my dog to value vet clinic in puyallup wa because she wasn't putting her hind leg down or walking I had to put a scarf round her waste n let her walk front legged. The vet only communicated by phone e its covid I get it but letting a owner come in should be excepted. He took xrays and gave her pain meds told me hip might be out surgery 5- 7000.00 now I'm upset cause I cant afford this so a few days later I take her back load her alone in car I'm a girl shes 90 ribs and they told me on phone they would come to car only to sit there f ok r ever to tell me to bring her to door I'm smart I brought a wagon.she goes in I stay out.

He then calls to ask me did she fall theres bruises on her stomach I said I no told you she got bit by somth and ng he said maybe gave me antibiotics and they brought her out she started to walk a lil that first day by night she must of died from the poison because it was to late for antibiotics and my dog us dead for no reason it could have been a different result if the doctor would listen to what I kept saying there was so much swelling it it felt like jello.

If he would of actually touched n looked harder he could if saved her life we are devistated over her the loss is unbearable. now who is gonna give me the 600 bucks I paid the first visit for a xray n exam n how bout the 125.00 on the antibiotics they gave me she only took three then died. There are website photos that look exactly like my dog did. my name is amber My dog was a beautiful mastiff boxer ridgeback mix grew up with my son she was going on 13 she was healthy. Her name was deeohgee

1/1/21: I came here for years. It was great when it was Vets for Less. Since the change of ownership/name change seems like everything went down hill. Yesterday was the last time I will ever step foot in that clinic! They can't seem to answer/return phone calls. Nurses seem clueless. When I voiced my concerns, the Doctor hung up on me. No compassion for our dying animal whatsoever! UPDATE 1/12/21: Since our cat passed away, NOT once did they send their condolences.

Instead they sent me a letter saying they no longer want me as a customer. Hahahaha! Sorry wouldn't go to this clinic again if you paid me. Firgrove Veterinary has been amazing and taking care of our Olive's remains.

This was our first time at this location, for the past six years I was taking my dogs to the one in Kent. They were a little bit busy, the wait wasn't to bad since we didn't have an appointment. There's plenty of seats, tv and magazines. The reason for our visit besides updating their vaccines is we believe our dog got an ear infection.

The staff was very helpful and gentle without pups. The doctor confirmed the ear infection, they showed us how to clean their ears and apply meds. We were very happy with the service we received and glad we found a good clinic for our pets.
