Vanishing Species is Florida non-profit, registration No. CH26825. All donations received by are tax deductible and 100% of the money goes directly to the care of the animals and our education programs. Vanishing Species was founded in 1998 as an education program to inform children of all ages about the natural world around them. Vanishing Species serves as home to over 300 animals including tigers, lions, leopards, cougars, servals, bobcats, bears, wolves, alligators, snakes, monkeys, and more.

Vanishing Species is proud to announce we are completing the first phase of a new property in Palmdale, Florida. Located in the middle of the state, the Palmdale facility will serve as a permanent retirement home for our animals, while being open to the public and affording us many new and exciting education opportunities.
There are many ways you can help us care for wildlfie and Inspire the Scientists of Tomorrow. Become a Core Volunteer - Help us take care of the animals, educate the public, and gain valuable hands-on experience. Community Service Hours - Whether your school or organization requires service hours for graduation or achievement or you have been assigned community service hours for a misdemeanor infraction, you can put those hours to good use by volunteering with us!.Schedule a Program - Money paid for our education programs goes directly to care of our animals and the constant upgrading of our educational programs.
Vanishing Species has several unique and exciting educational programs that students will never forget! These programs are designed to both educate and entertain, leaving all with a new sense of responsibility for protecting the environment and the world's vanishing species. Groups from 5 to 5000 can be accommodated, and Vanishing Species has programs designed for all age groups. A variety of animals are used in a show at your location, which is tailored to your theme, group size, age group, and available space and time.
