Wee Paws Playhouse Hundreds of people in the Reno Nevada area are at work all day, which requires that they leave their little dogs at home while they are working. Most of the time this means when they get home, they return to a stressed out dog and have a mess to clean up when they get there. If the doggy is in the house, there is usually some kind of destruction or damage an if the little one is outside, you may find hoses ripped up or fences damaged. One of the top ten reasons given at the animal shelter for people giving up their dogs is "he destroys my things when I'm not home".

* The good: our dogs felt completely at home and seemed to be just fine going back on day two. We were very pleased at the amount of playtime they received. Our little ones seemed to love it there! * The good: wonderful, friendly staff. Very kind and understanding. Tony is a treasure. He even taught our pup to actually bring the ball back to him when playing fetch. * The bad: There is no thought given to the esthetics of the outside or inside of the building.

To say it is not clean is an understatement. Dog hair, dust, and the foyer is crowded with unnecessary "stuff" that just collects dirt. Overwhelming smell of dog urine, since dogs "go" on artificial turf and not outside. HOWEVER: if our dogs love it, shouldn't we be able to set aside our reservations about cleanliness? The jury is still out on that one.

I have taken my dogs here three times and they've loved it and been worn out each time. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the prices are unbelievable for a doggy-daycare. They do only allow 25lbs and under so it's good for my boy dog who likes smaller dogs. They are very flexible as well and you can drop them off anytime without scheduling an appointment.

Wee Paws is the only place I would ever take my dogs for daycare or overnights. I have been taking my dogs there for over 15 years. Tony Kathy and Nichol are wonderful people and my dogs adore them. My dogs all start barking with excitement about a mile away because they can't wait to get there. No big turnover with enployees because it is a family owned business. I highly recommend it and all my dogs do too!

My fur babies have been attending this daycare for almost 10 years now and I am so blessed to have found them! My oldest pup had such bad separation anxiety she would rip out her nails scratching at her crate. The Cooks were so understanding and knowledgeable about how to help her, it was such a relief! I can not say enough good things about this family owned/run business!

This is the only place I would take my fur baby in Reno, Tony and his family are amazing, caring and so thoughtful, when I am away, I call every day to check and they never make me feel like I am bothering them, they encourage it actually! I personally visited a number of places but kept coming back to them because I knew they would take care of my dog to the best of their ability.

The family is wonderful, I cannot say enough about their commitment as to what they do, I am not sure I know anybody that goes above and beyond for their clients, they must be the most caring people I know!

Oh my gosh, the smell of this place is noxious. I'm not sure when the last time they cleaned, but it smells like it's been years. MY pup seemed moderately ok with the place, but I just couldn't keep her there. The young lady who greeted me was very rude, but I've come to realize that most animal professionals are just not good with people

This place only takes small dogs, so it was a relief for is as we were leaving a small Shih Tzu for the day so we could go snowboarding. They do not provide any food it snacks due to potential allergies and other concerns, so you should bring a food and snack baggie if you would like them to provide it to your dog while he is there. Other than that, the location was convenient, the people there were friendly, and my Shih Tzu got to play with about ten other dogs for the day instead if having to spend the day alone in the hotel room. Would recommend!

Family run and great people. Everyone is nice and they really take care of the dogs. This is the only place I would ever take my dog. The real critic is my dog and she's excited to go every time.
