Could not be happier with the level of service that Corbyn has provided for our family. Both of our dogs (one adopted from YP4E) have benefited greatly from her training and expertise.

We were very nervous as this was our first time boarding our two miniature dachshunds. When we called and asked for updates the staff seemed irritable and said they were "loud and fine". It took more than 3 times of me asking for them to finally send photos updates of them, then after that they completely ignored our messages any other time we asked.

When picking up our dogs, the staff honestly seemed like they hated their lives working there and were very rude. Once we had our babies back, we noticed one definitely looked like he hadn't ate in a few days and was acting very skittish which is not normal for him. We were really looking forward to boarding them here as we used grooming services before and were impressed. Overall highly disappointed and will not be using/recommending them again.

Front desk did not care if you were there or not. After 4 hours I stopped by to see if my little dog was done. They told me to come back to 2 hours. So, my little dog sat in a cage for 6 hours minus the shampoo and cut. I have a pure breed westie and asked for a westie cut. The front desk didn't write that down but an experience groomer would know it is a Westie.

I ended up with a small dog Shih Tzu cut. His beard gone, his skirt gone, his round facial cut gone. (Now it is a box cut.) Hair grows out but my dog looked unhappy and stressed when I picked him up. He could of had fun playing with other dogs, but when I asked if he could do that -I would pay extra - the answer was no. I work at a animal shelter and will pass the word that they hire a bunch of young people who don't care or have any experience.

They did an amazing job on my two big dogs. My golden doodle's hair was shaggy and long, and I had them cut it short. They did a great job on his face and ears too. Here's a little before and after pic. And he smells good. l will be back for sure! If you have a shaggy pup who needs a trim before the heat, this is a good place to go. (Cottonville location)

This place is overrated. Earlier this year, we took our dog there for a full groom and they only shampooed him and charged us for the full groom. which is $90-95 with a tip. Getting him rescheduled meant waiting another week. very unimpressed with their service. Go to Yips & Yaps instead!

Lynzie did an outstanding job with my frenchie! She was so caring and listened to my every ask. Not to mention he smelled so good even weeks after! 10/10 recommend Lynzie as she truly is the sweetest and took such good care of my pup.

We boarded our dog here in the "Serenity Suites." While we were gone it was very challenging to get updates on our dog, which made us very nervous. When I did finally reach someone I was told "she was doing fine and eating." When we picked her up she was lethargic and not herself. The next day we discovered she had kennel cough. This is not the definition of fine.

She also was scheduled to see the groomer during her stay to get a bath and nail trim. Her nails didn't get trimmed and she smelled. We couldn't be more disappointed in Yuppy Puppy. We paid a lot of money and only have a really sick dog to show for it. Never again!

Consumer beware your items, once handed over are at the business disposal. They take zero responsibility for loosing everything food, leashes, toys, etc. when asked how could you loose our puppies items? Their response, we have 120 animals to take care of. Because of their lack of organizing and overbooking, the staff created a mess in the back of the 120 animals belongings which is a down right scary thought.

I cannot help but wonder if our poor puppy was neglected, and never got to play with his toys (they lost) nor received his walks 3x a day because they lost his leash too. They proceeded to hand our daughter someone else's leash and a bag full of items food & a toy that belonged to another animal. Is that what they did with our puppies items, carelessly handed them over to another customer.

Most animals have to stick with their special food or their tummies get upset. Essentially, make no mistake about it, this is stealing, theft from customers. The staff is rude, unprofessional, take zero responsibility, and offer no resolution when asked. They tell you directly with annoyance that they will call you if they find it. Additionally, if they don't find it it could be either damaged or lost items.

Which they say in their paperwork they are not responsible for. What's rather sad another customer was standing against the wall, she chimed in making verbal insults saying I was over reacting & calling me crazy. she's entitled to her opinion (however it wasn't her items or money or time taken so not her problem). The customer proceeded to use profanity towards me as I was leaving which upset my daughter. Lauren did not escort her out. However, The manager did put her hands on my daughter assaulting her. It is on the stores audio and video. They are lucky we didn't press charges. Never will we come back. I urge everyone to look at all these reviews.

We've been going to Yuppy Puppy for several years with no issue. On one of my last visits, The receptionist up-sold me to buy 15 play camp dates. They failed to tell me that they would expire if we didn't use them after 30 days. Instead of working with us to adjust days or refund the money, the manager refused and stole our money.

I absolutely love Yuppy Puppy in Cottleville! Not only have I been taking my two dogs there for regular nail trims, but we've had both of them in training there too. Our trainer, Oscar, is amazing! Really knowledgeable and has a great energy when he's working with our dogs. He worked with Shuri to boost her confidence and on basic obedience commands which really helped her bond with us better. And we learned a lot more tools to deal with my Beagle, Bae's, reactivity to other dogs. I highly recommend Yuppy Puppy and especially Oscar!

I HIGHLY recommend training with Oscar at the Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa in Cottleville. He introduced new techniques and shaped corrective behaviors during my pups 6 weeks of obedience training. My stubborn 2 year old and very active 8 month old dogs needed a lot of adjusting. He was patient, professional, worked within my schedule, and provided all the energy they needed to learn in a positive and rewarding environment.

My dogs have now graduated, and are able to come when called the first time, not think every other person and dog as a threat, and walk on a leash without pulling, among other things. The greatest testament to his training abilities were his three pups- who were always seen obeying silent commands, without a leash or remote collar, and walked in perfect formation!

The place is gorgeous and friendly staff BUT $25+ tip for a small dog to get their nails cut is absolutely ridiculous. To fully groom him, the price is $75+tip. The front desk worker said their prices went up on nail trims. The nail trimmer is a one time purchase & is twice the amount of other places. So will my grooming appointment be $50 since he won't need his nails trimmed?

We had a very bad experience here, I went there for trimming, but became my dog had some matting issue, they suggested to shave so it will be easy, I told them last time we had a bad experience some where else where he had some cuts. They told me they will be gentle but when I went for pick up, I see some cuts which they said it's a little normal.

After coming home I noticed that there were cut in the paw and legs too. My dog is in so much pain he is not moving from last 3 days. We have to take a doctors appointment for him in emergency. We need to see what the doctor has to say, I am not really happy with the service provided. I would have expected they should have been more careful when working with dogs.

I so wanted my dog to be a yuppy puppy. My dog has been groomed there probably 6 times. The first time was great. Great haircut and a reasonable time. Next haircuts needed a little extra trimming at pick up but noticed the time from drop off to pick up got crazy. We had dropped him off mid morning and hadn't received a call that he was done by 5:00. Chose to drive over and he still wasn't done.

My husband picked him up that time but didn't say anything. I called to let them know I wanted to extend grace but wanted to make an appointment and expected to pick him up within a few hours of drop off. They apologized and agreed that isn't how it's supposed to work. Next haircut was timely. But this last haircut was absolutely unacceptable. I made appointment abt 2 months in advance.

They called to change appt a week beforehand. I agreed but reminded front desk I want him to be done in reasonable time. She made him the first cut of the day. He was dropped off at 8:40 for a 9:00 appointment. I didn't get called until 4:00 that he was done! I was there in 10 minutes and commented how unhappy I was. She replied he had been waiting for pick up to which I replied I was there in 10 minutes of being called.

I asked to speak to manager but first wanted to take my dog outside to relieve himself. He peed straight blood! Urinary retention caused inflammation of his bladder according to vet. Manager agreed that appropriate time of 4-6 hours is acceptable but that 7 was too long. However, she made excuses for groomer being good but slow. If my dog was first of day what did that mean for other dogs after him.

Good news is that he got a nice cut. Business side of Yuppy Puppy needs lots of help. Yes I know that there is a shortage of workers. But that is what the business side has to manage. These are precious pets that can't say "I have to use the bathroom ". No doubt he spent most of his day in a kennel. Upon returning home he lapped up 2 full bowls of water. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

We took our dog for the first time to Yuppy Puppy and if we could give this groomer zero stars we would! Our dog has a disability with anxiety and we were up front with this. on that note he was there for over 6 hours and when we were asked to come back into the the grooming room to help the groomer we were completely devastated with how our very loved doggie looked he looked so overwhelmed and stressed out my wife started crying and was very upset!

They showed no compassion and the groomer with dark hair and glasses copped an attitude with me. If they had just called us and told us what was going on. Any doggies with anxiety/disabilities should be treated with respect. Once we got home our dog drank a bowl and a half of water. He was overly dehydrated! That was complete neglect. YUPPY PUPPY IS HORRIBLE AND UNKIND!

They neglected our senior dog. She went in walking and came home with her skin rubbed raw on her elbows and she was unable to walk on her back legs. Not a single person called us and the girl working at the front desk didn't seem to care at all about her condition. Very concerning how she was treated and the lack of compassion when attempting to address the issue.

Best boarding and grooming around! We literally have to talk in code around our dog, Louis! If we say "yuppy puppy" out-loud, he gets so excited and runs to the back door. The staff is awesome and always so friendly. They love him like we love him!

Front desk staff are rude and ignore you as if you don't exist. Took my dogs to them for 6 years and as they have grown they lost the value of customer service. Truly disappointing. When I reached out to the owner about the experience she stated they were overwhelmed and new. Being human and not whispering about you to the other worker is not professional! Ignoring you and skipping over you while you wait in front of them--has nothing to do with computers or being new--it has to do with being a horrible person!

If I could give negative starts I would! We have take our puppies there for nearly 3 years. Our little girl yorkie had a beautiful ponytail that took 6 months to grow. They cut it off! She was dropped off and they asked "same as last time"? I said "yes". The last three times there she had a pony tail. About 3" long on top and short every were else. It was obvious! Also the fact that it was in a ponytail when she was dropped off! Our yorkies WILL NOT RETURN! NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND!

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE SERVICE FOR MY DOG AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to call to see when my dog would be ready. My dog was still wet when they brought her out to me. would highly recommend you take your fur baby to people more competent and professional! Cause they ARE NOT it!

I don't usually post poor reviews. I prefer to work with the business directly for resolution. I emailed this company with my concerns and received no reply back. So here I am. I made an appt for my dog to be groomed. Appt was 9am. When I dropped her off, the attendant asked what I wanted done (mind you I had already explained this when I made the appt but I didnt mind verifying).

I explained again what I wanted done and left. I received a call at 1:30p. When I saw who was calling I assumed they were calling to say she was ready. No. They were calling to see what I wanted done. Hhmmm. I explained again. I then received another call 35 minutes later saying she was ready. So. 1) She sat there confined for hours not being tended to.

What was the point of the 9am appt? She drank A LOT of water when she got home so I wonder how much access to water she had that whole time. 2) I assume they do not have a good communication system since no one was telling the other what I wanted done. 3) 2 days later my dog began showing symptoms of Kennel cough. She's getting over it now finally after 2 weeks of coughing. 4) I received no receipt for payment.

So I have no means of verifying that I received a discount I was told I was getting. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of less is because she did look nice so they did a decent job of actually grooming her. But I won't be back bc of the lack of service and lack of response.

Haven't been happy with Yuppy Puppy for some time. Their communication is the worst I have ever seen. Half the time they won't answer their phones then if they do you are put on hold and then get bumped off. You tell them what you want and you realize they didn't do something you asked. Their prices keep going up and they keep you dog all day which is ridiculous.

Doubt that they give the dogs water all day and yet they say, oh they drink the bath water. What about when they aren't in the tub. This is my last time taking my dog there.

I had adopted a dog from their Yuppy Puppy Forever Inc. I had to return him a month later because of safety reasons between him and my dog. They made a post on their Facebook page and a guy decided to say I didn't deserve him. I let him know about the whole situation, but what did yuppy puppy do? They delete my comment and blocked me from the page. Great job Yuppy Puppy because I will no longer/ever use your services.

Have tried this place again and again in hopes of better service due to the fact it's close to my home. Rude service every single time. Yesterday took my dog in for a groom and play. They had dog from 9-4. I think they I encourage play before grooming so they can groom when ever they please. Came home with her hair still matted hair and extremely thirsty.

Communication was horrible and space is cramped with not enough seats for waiting customers. They need to omit the yuppy feel and up their attention to the animals. She kept calling her a him. Offer water (my dog drank three bowls of water right when she came home) to their day care dogs and they need better groomers to actually GROOM/brush. Not just bath and dry. Common sense if you see or feel a knot comb it out. Waste of money. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My dogs love them. They can't wait to go. They get so excited to go to play camp and are wore out after a fun day of playing with other puppy's.

I was really skeptical sending my 80lb German Shepherd to a place called Yuppy Puppy but I read a lot of reviews and did my research so we set up an evaluation and appointment with a trainer. We met with Miranda and told her our issues and we agreed to do three weeks training with board and train for the first two weeks. Halfway through the two weeks of boarding my dog got sick and they called to let me know and inform me they don't train if a dog is sick and I understood their reasoning.

It took about two weeks for her to get better and get back into training and our trainer, Miranda, started her training over with no additional charges. Miranda is and was an amazing trainer with our dog and also with training me on how to hold my dog accountable. They also post pictures almost daily of my dog so I could see some of the things she was doing. Highly recommend both Yuppy Puppy and Miranda!

My family had our 3 dogs boarded at Yuppy Puppy in March for a week while we went on vacation. We paid for boarding and grooming for one of our dogs that was long haired. The day we picked them up, they hadn't had time to bath and groom her, which we were told would be an all day event. My husband was told by the groomer that we could bring her back another day since we already paid for the grooming.

We called to schedule the appointment and informed the scheduler of the situation. She confirmed with the records. Flash forward to picking up my dog at 4:45 when dropped her off at 10am, and they decided they were no longer going to honor their agreement and wanted to charge me $115 for the grooming, that the groomer even admitted to me that he did not finish. Very misleading and deceptive business practices.

They do a great job with the dogs but the customer service is very poor. I had a quick question today and was put on hold and forgot about (or at least I presume so after waiting 10 minutes). Called back several times and left a voicemail. No return call. Reached them later in the day and was put right back on hold. It's not just that but the last few times I have dropped the dogs I feel like I am inconveniencing them with my business.

No greeting whatsoever when you come in and it's "what are you here for" instead of "how can I help you". The prices are higher and you are expected to tip as well. Maybe our service is bad because we don't tip enough and they keep track in their system? We'll be finding a new place.

Be careful about what you read. After reading other reviewers posts, I was very leery. However, I've been taking my puppy to Yuppy Puppy's Splash 'n' Dash since she was 8 weeks old, and it's always been a pleasant experience. It seems that not everyone is posting their positive experiences. only angry and resentful customers. sad.

We left our 6 month old Siberian Husky in the plaza suite for 6 days. We had a Sunday drop off too. Just Incase you're unsure, their Sunday drop off instructions are listed under the frequently asked questions page. The staff was SUPER friendly upon arrival and departure. We even emailed them while we were on vacation, telling them how we missed our girl and wondered how she was. they emailed back, telling us how she was doing and even sent us some pictures.

Our princess is home and sleepy (who isn't after a week long vacation). She didn't eat all her food while at Yuppy Puppy, but she missed her family and her home, I didn't expect her to truly be herself and I fully expected her to be a little homesick. Bottom line is that Yuppy Puppy took great care of our Luna and we were very satisfied with their service. They kept her clean, safe, fed, and sheltered. She came home to us the same spoiled rotten stinker that she was when we left her there.
