Cumberland Pet Grooming was opened in 1989 by Karen Mele. She started grooming in 1976 and obtained her Veterinary Technician's License in 1983. Karen went on to recieve the certification from the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists. She is a certified Pet I.D. tattooist for the National Dog Registry. She has been involved in breeding and showing dogs since 1979.

I have worked at Pet Express as the bather, cleaner, feeder. I worked there for a year and a half. I then worked at Cookeville/ Putnam County Animal Shelter for a year and a half. Then I found myself at Copeland Vet. I have more than 5 years knowledge in animal career field.
