Annual Exams and Vaccinations
Report
Vaccinations are a quick and simple way to minimize the chance of your pet contracting a contagious or fatal disease. It is important for pets under one year of age to receive a full series of boosters before they are six months old. This gives their immune system a good jump-start in fighting off disease.
Therapeutic Laser Therapy
Report
Hot lasers in the medical world are used for surgical precision while cold lasers are used for healing precision. At Cedar Ridge Animal Hospital, our in-house laser produces these cold beams. The laser sends photons, or packets of light energy, deep into tissue without damaging it. This light energy then inspires production of ATP in the cell.
X-Rays and Lab Work
Report
X-ray technology allows us to capture images of bones and internal organs. Digital x-rays provide exceptional detail and versatility. The vet has many uses for an x-ray, including: checking for suspected injuries from a trauma; evaluating a broken bone, or locating a foreign object that a patient may have swallowed.
