The website states the Astoria store closes at 8pm. I arrived at 6:52pm today. The reason I know the exact time is because the woman at the register immediately told me as I entered the store that I had only 8 minutes to shop before her register "automatically" closes at 7pm. I shopped really quickly, but the woman kept looking at me, as if to say, hurry up. It was so uncomfortable that I put my items back and left the store. First, their website needs to be updated to say this location closes at 7pm. Secondly, this woman needs to be trained to have better customer service skills.
I refuse to spend my money in any establishment that can't have these basic needs met. Rather shop locally, but I'll be shopping online tonight. On a positive note, the store is always clean and organized.

I love their Pet ID tags there are a lot of designs to choose from and also materials. I ordered and it arrived pretty quickly the quality of the tag is amazing. I highly recommend it.

OK so apparently Google did not update our store hours on their Google Maps page. Our 1800whiskers.com website does have our correct current store hours which are Mon-Fri. 12-7:00pm NOT 8:00PM, Sat. 11-7pm and Sun. 12-6:00pm. thank you! also there are some "reviews" regarding buying animals at Whiskers Holistic Petcare. Please note: Whiskers does not sell animals nor do we do grooming. I'm not sure where these reviews are coming from but they are fake news for sure.

Whiskers is the finest pet shop in Astoria by leaps and bounds. The staff is great, the selection is fantastic, and I live that they lean towards natural and holistic products. I feel safer shopping here. They alsi deliver if you're purchasing a heavy item. It's a good neighborhood business to support.

Nice staff, who take the time to get to know you and your pets. If they don't have it, they will order it. They also offer delivery throughout the area. You can even adopt a cat here. Great place. Parking is usually available nearby

Through my years as a furbaby parent, Whiskers has given me countless holistic advice on keeping my cats healthy. Through them I found a holistic vet that I still use. Frozen food alternatives were available at Whiskers LONG before it became trendy. I credit them for educating me in ways that traditional vets and pet food stores are unwilling to do. And, they are a neighborhood family business!

The nicest people and a great selection of pet supplies, food and really cool home made toys and treats. They also rescue cats and Im adopting my kittens today! They always have free treats to give your pup when you stop buy.

We purchase all of our pet food and pet supplies here! The staff is the kindest, and remembers your name and what you purchase. Even when I occasionally call for deliveries they remember who I am. That type of service cannot be taught. Not to mention they offer only holistic and healthy products. I feel very lucky to live so close to such an exceptional pet shop!
