We have more than two decades of dedicated dog walking experience on New Yorks Upper West Side. Our business, Happy Paws Nyc, was founded in 2002 after I began professional dog walking in 2001. We currently employ five highly trained walkers, many of whom have served our clients for over ten years. Our team members are responsible, honest, well educated in canine care, and consistently demonstrate professional standards. We solve scheduling challenges by offering flexible, ontime walks three times daily for highenergy dogs. We strictly avoid large pack walks, limiting each outing to a maximum of four dogs to ensure personalized attention.

45 minute walk
Our 45minute walk delivers a balanced, extended stroll that satisfies both moderate energy dogs and their scheduling needs. This duration allows dogs to expend energy while owners receive consistent, professional care throughout the outing. Clients benefit from a wellrounded exercise session, reduced boredom, and a happier, healthier pet.
60 minute walk
Our 60minute walk provides a comprehensive, leisurely excursion for dogs requiring extended exercise and exploration. It is perfect for senior dogs, families with busy calendars, and pets that thrive on longer outdoor time. Owners receive reliable punctuality, comprehensive exercise, and peace of mind knowing their dog is well cared for.
Evening walks
Our evening walks cater to dogs and owners who prefer afterwork exercise, operating from 5p.m. to 8p.m. daily. These walks add a $5$10 supplement, ensuring safe, supervised outings. Clients enjoy evening freshness, reduced daytime heat exposure, and a tired dog ready for a calm night.
Weekend walks
Our weekend walks provide flexible, ondemand exercise for dogs whose owners travel or have weekend commitments. A $5 weekend surcharge applies, and we maintain our strict fourdog limit for personalized care. Owners appreciate the convenience of weekend outings without compromising our high standards of safety and attention.

Our dog River always comes back tired after a full day of running around. We'll continue to bring him for sure! The staff at this location is quick to respond with any concerns and is conscientious. Only wish the dogs had a little outdoor space to run around.

Easy to use and always available, Happy Dogs takes great are of our dog. They follow instructions, send daily pictures and are a great safe place for our beloved dog.

Our dog Penny loves being part of the Happy Dogs pack! On mornings when we take her there, she knows it as soon as we leave the building because we take a different route than we normally do for her regular walks. She gets all wiggly and walks as fast as her little legs will take her because she is just so excited to play with her fur-riends all day! After a day of daycare, she is exhausted - which is great for our high-energy pup. We have enjoyed the flexibility of the hours at HD and the opportunity to board her there when needed. The staff is very responsive and helpful via email when we have a question or concern.

My dog seems to have really taken a liking to the caretakers at Happy dogs. She always comes back exhausted and gets (sometimes too) excited every time we enter and makes a beeline for the facility.

Leo absolutely loves Happy Dogs! He knows when we are getting close and starts pulling me and once we are outside, he starts crying because he wants to go inside so badly. The contactless drop-off is quick and easy and the staff is so loving and accommodating to any questions/feedback. They have long hours (8-8pm included) which makes it very easy especially when I go into the office. Love Happy Dogs! Cannot recommend it enough :)
