Our catalogue is curated personally by Susan Strough, who has over 20 years of experience helping owners to create an environment of practical and easy living with their pet dogs. Some of the products listed, like the City Leash, are of Susan's own invention. Susan also provides training services for owners living in and around Dallas, Texas. Susan Strough, owner of Canines First, began her career as a pet obedience trainer and behavior consultant in 2000.

The online scheduler provides the convenience of scheduling your appointments at any time without having to telephone the office or wait for a response via text. Susan will text a confirmation one business day prior to your session. However, she asks that if you should find yourself needing to cancel your appointment, please notify her of your cancellation as soon as possible.

Susan Strough visits her Dallas clients living south of Lyndon B Johnson Freeway in their homes for in-person lessons. For those living outside of her travel zone, arrangements can be made to visit Ms. Strough at a Dallas location. For anyone unable to meet with her in person, remote appointments are available via telephone, FaceTime, Zoom, or Skype.
