Katie's Kitty of New York City is an exclusive boutique style cat sitting company on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We offer pet sitting in your home and boarding for cats in our many host family homes throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.

Our boarding services is a great alternative to New York boarding kennels. We usually board one pet in each home and rather than using cages, your pet will have free run of the home, and have bed privileges.

My name is Peter Lindenbaum and I am the owner and founder of Katie's Kitty. Thanks for stopping by our website. I started Katie's Kitty in 1997 as a result of a conversation with my then precociously perceptive 8-year-old daughter, Katie. Having noticed that I was unhappy with the work I was doing, she said, "Daddy, why can't you do something that you love instead?"

As such, the emotional state of your pet is just as important as his or her physical well-being. To that end, we take great pains to reduce occurrences of stress, frustration, loneliness - and yes, even boredom - in the life of your loved one. We always take our cue from you. And so, if an exercise or play regimen is part of your daily routine, we will do our very best to recreate it.

Care for exotic pets in your home or ours (includes birds, small mammals, reptiles, fish). You will meet with your pet sitter before the first assignment to discuss your pet's needs, such as food, medication, exercise, playtime, etc. and tailor the services to you and your pet's needs. Katie's Kitty is the perfect alternative to a boarding kennel.
