The Pet Shack Resort opened its doors the week of Thanksgiving in 1998. It had originally been a kennel, but its facilities and reputation had become run down over the years after the previous owners divorce. In 1998, I had also divorced and was looking for a way to support myself. I had always had multiple pets, including dogs, cats, horses, birds and an assortment of small mammals. For me, this was the perfect solution! I could do what I loved and support myself as well. All calls and text messages to 937-885-7171 go to the kennel phone and my cell.
