We are Animal Tracks, a mobile veterinary practice serving the greater Kansas City and Shawnee Mission area. We were founded in 1992 by our owner and licensed veterinarian, Lynn J. Hatfield, DVM. Dr. Hatfield grew up in the Kansas City Brookside area and attended Southwest High School before pursuing her higher education. She earned her nursing degree from the KU Medicine School of Nursing in 1976, gaining hands-on clinical experience in neonatal ICUs at KU Medical Center, Denver Children's Hospital, and the University of California at Irvine. She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Our mobile, in-home care model eliminates the stress of traditional clinic visits for dogs and cats by delivering veterinary services directly to clients' residences.
We serve busy pet owners with limited time for clinic appointments, owners with mobility or transportation barriers, and pets that experience significant anxiety in unfamiliar clinical settings. Great staff all around, but would avoid getting your medications through them. They have done a great job of taking care of my dog. Would give 5 stars if the medication prices were not so far out of line. I went from $163 a month to $56 a month by going online.

We took Bubbles here for dystichia surgery. The doctors and staff were all wonderful and caring. Bubbles' surgery went great and she can now open her right eye all the way and no more pawing at it. They were just such nice people.
