Our pet boarding provides large indoor runs with visual barriers to reduce stress, two daily supervised play sessions in secure outdoor areas, and individualized care. Each dog receives personalized attention, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment with bedding, toys, and special dietary accommodations when needed.

Outdoor Turnout

Dogs enjoy grass and gravel turnout areas with natural shade and high fences. Individual playtime ensures safety, while visual barriers maintain privacy. Only household pets interact, with supervised socialization available for owner-approved groups, enhancing physical activity and mental stimulation.

Senior Dog Care

We offer specialized care for dogs over 10 years old, including health monitoring and stress-reduction practices. Stays are limited to four nights to prioritize well-being. Our team provides extra attention to senior pets with medical histories, ensuring comfort while maintaining health stability.

Free Bath Service

Dogs staying for multiple periods receive a complimentary bath before departure. Baths occur the night prior for morning pickups or the day of evening pickups. We use gentle towel-drying methods, focusing on cleanliness without additional grooming procedures.

Toy Rentals

A variety of toys are available to entertain boarded pets upon request. We ensure safe play with durable, clean items. This service complements our structured playtime, keeping dogs engaged and mentally stimulated during their stay.

What's included in the boarding fee?

Boarding includes large indoor runs, two daily play sessions, bedding, basic toys, and standard biscuits. Special diets are accommodated at no extra charge.

Are vaccinations required for boarding?

Yes, all pets must have up-to-date vaccinations. Provide veterinary records or your vet's contact information before check-in.

Do you care for senior dogs?

We accept dogs up to 10 years old with monitored care. Older pets may board with vet approval, with stays limited to four nights for health safety.

What are your business hours?

Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-12 PM & 4-6 PM, Saturday 9 AM-12 PM, Sunday 4-6 PM. After-hours drop-off/pickup requires advance arrangement.

We are 100% happy with Ricmar Kennels and will most definitely bring our dogs back! We have a socially awkward Czech Shepard who normally stresses when we leave. Our dog had no problem there and even got close with the owner. That shows us that our dogs were definitely happy and taken care of! Definitely appreciate them for taking care of our pups.

Such an amazing experience. We had to board our dog for a few days, along with his sister, while we were in California. I chose Ricmar Kennels because of the high reviews. When we arrived, I knew it was going to be a great experience for Cap. There weren't any issues while we were gone and Cap was as happy as ever when we picked him up, giving love to the owner before we left. Would definitely recommend for short or longer boarding times.

Ricmar Kennels is our go-to place for our dog! He gets anxious being away from us, but every time he's stayed at Ricmar Kennels he has had so much fun, and has even not wanted to leave once or twice! The owners take amazing care of the dogs and you can tell they really care. Our pup got lots of play time with other dogs that he got along with, and even was given a complimentary bath before we took him home. We will never go to any other kennel! If I could give a place 10 out of 5 stars, this would be the place!

I honestly couldn't be happier with how Ricmar has taken care of our buddies since we started boarding with them in 2016. Ricardo and Darren are absolute top notch professionals that obviously care deeply for the animals in their care. They always maintained great communication, took special considerations for our older dog, and were there on time every time. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars, they've earned it.

I will be dropping off my baby (10 month old pit) tomorrow for her second stay at Ricmar and felt compelled to write a review as I have zero anxieties or worries about it! My pup, Piper, is my first ever dog. It's just me and her, and we only moved to the area in the Fall; she means more to me than anything, and when I had to board her for the first time over Christmas I was terrified. I chose Ricmar because of the amazing reviews, and they did not disappoint.

I picked up a happy and clean pup when I got home and booked for my next trip (tomorrow) the very next day. Everyone here is extremely sweet, respond quickly to check-in emails, and genuinely love animals. I highly recommend Ricmar!
